I had a job interview at Target today. I was hired on the spot! Really excited to be making more than $10/hr soon. There's some confusion surrounding when orientation is as the HR representative wrote down a past date, but I'm following her instructions and have plans to reach out if it's not cleared up by then.
After leaving Target Domino and I went to pick up some Father's day gifts for both our dad and Al, as well as her husband at Home Depot. It was out of her way and I was out, so I snagged them for her, it's the least I could do since she does so much for me.
After leaving Home Depot we went to Care-A-Lot for crickets, only because they run the cheapest in the area and I refuse to pay more than 5 cents per cricket anymore. It was dead in there, only three people seemed to be on the floor, 5 if you count the visible managers.
When we finally got home I ate some pizza (Papa John's, as always) and relaxed for a minute before going to visit my step brother and his girlfriend to purchase plant material. We hung out for a few hours and we're back home with new 'plant based medication'
On the way home a train held us up, and the person in the car beside us started really jammin' with her tambourine and it made us laugh. I love seeing people just purely exist in their good vibes.
It's getting hard to feel like anyone wants to listen, so this is a public blog that is okay if found, but I'm not going to essentially 'advertise' it for everyone to read. If you find this, then you find this, do with that as you please.
It feels good to get my thoughts out to reflect on my day, which is something I never really attempted before. It kind of clears my head knowing that I have a reference tool here.
Probably gonna watch a little more youtube, and play Animal Crossing for a little while. I really need to stop putting off playing until late at night if I really dont want to time travel at all.
Let's see how this goes, I guess? SOTD is Piano Man because I heard it for the first time in a long time today.
