oh Vimes is ABSOLUTELY a witch, and Ankh-Morpork is his patch. In Jingo he even does holds an ember in his hand and passes it to Rust, to show off, and waits until Rust has defintiely gone to let himself feel the pain, just like Granny Weatherwax did in Witches Abroad.
