if anything, porn websites should be paywalled or require age verification. But I'm sure these websites would start an uproar about it. They know children are watching porn and they don't care.

“Do not fear the storms of earth…. Your guardian angel is covering you with his wings, and Jesus, the purity of virgins, reposes in your heart…. They are there with Mary, who is hiding you also under her veil!”

Every time you say a Hail Mary, you’re handing a rose to the Blessed Virgin Mary. I’d also like to think that the prayers we give for each other are also little flowers we give each other. Maybe not as beautiful as a rose, but like little dandelions young children excitedly pick and bring home for their mothers. Imperfect maybe, but radiating in love.

The Real Work by Wendell Berry
It may be that when we no longer know what to do
we have come our real work,
and that when we no longer know which way to go
we have come to our real journey.
The mind that is not baffled is not employed.
The impeded stream is the one that sings.

“Just pray: ‘Lord, grant me Thy grace!’ For when there is a cloud of griefs over you and you pray: ‘Lord, grant me Thy grace,’ the Lord will carry you past the storm.”

“Only the man who has had to face despair is really convinced that he needs mercy. Those who do not want mercy never seek it. It is better to find God on the threshold of despair than to risk our lives in a complacency that has never felt the need of forgiveness. A life that is without problems may literally be more hopeless than one that always verges on despair.”
