sometimes im glad ive never played 06 because ha! at least my favourite sonic media isnt played off as a complete joke by the larger fanbase! at least my favourite sonic media is well respected and liked! at least my favourite sonic media doesnt have an unneccessarily large and pointless controversy surrounding its entire existence! haha! ha! hahahahaha!

ive mentioned mary-sue once in a blue moon so heres everything i can think of

mary-sue is exactly as her name suggests. she's unsure where she came from or why she's there, but she knows that she is powerful. she likes sleeping on the ceiling and letting out little sparks from her fingertips. most people find her annoying, however, so she's a little bit too desperate for connection.

initially, she was the adopted daughter of priscilla and then became the stepdaughter of starline once they got married. she knew surge and kit, who hate her because she got special treatment.

after starline's death, priscilla is NOT a good mother. i dont think she means it, but she's overwhelmed with grief and cant take care of the nuclear bomb she calls her daughter. sonic and shadow find her one day when she's 14, maybe younger, and decide to take her in. they have to take care of 2 little toddlers at this point, so shadow isn't entirely fussed on the idea, but he sees a little bit of himself in her and doesn't mention it. it also turns out she's great at entertaining her new sisters, so it turns out alright.

she is a little cautious of sonic and shadow at first, but she bonds with tails well due to also being an awkward little fox, about the same age, too. it's because of this that she ends up warming up to her new parents and definitely prefers the more stable environment.

she's also got this really great school friend, a calico cat named samantha, who is apparently really really cool and sweet and kind. they're constantly at each other's houses and talking and for some reason mary-sue always goes a little pink around her and sometimes has strange thoughts about sam but it's probably just because she's the only friend she has her age. her fathers find it strange that samantha is the only one allowed to call her sue but she's assured them it's because of... something. something they aren't allowed to know about.

had a thirty minute buffer in my bday dnd game :( so random page of sonic plus bluebells. krita wasn't letting me have more than one layer though so these are freehanded hence being bad even for me. I think sonic should be the size of a little pocket sonic. he should be sitting on mushrooms and shit. he should be hanging off bluebells.

my gcses start literally next week so i wont be doing it soon BUT yeah ill probably do this at some point

kinda wanna run a sonic oc bracket but id feel like im not allowed to enter glitch seeing as theyre MY oc and a decent chunk of the voters would be MY followers but the entire reason i wanna run a bracket is because i decided not to enter glitch into the sonic oc showdown last year and i really regret it
