the beatles fandom is actually one of the funniest bc it's so long lasting and enduring that u see posting styles from all active internet generations. like oldschool livejournal fans type of bloggers meticulously formatting posts, gen z raised on tumblr bloggers calling paul mccartney their wife, and the tiktok/twitter teenagers freaking out over george to a point you'd think he was a current celebrity

in my honors english class, we have to write an essay about a conspiracy theory, either supporting or debunking it.

as someone who posts about the beatles and is an avid enjoyer, i’m sure you know which theory comes to mind LOL. obviously i will find most sources myself, because it is MY assignment.

but if anyone has any sources about the paul is dead theory, i would love to know about them!

since i have to address both my main argument counterclaims in my essay, sources from both sides of the argument would be appreciated.

they also have to be sources that i can cite with MLA.

NO BUT IMAGINE!!! You're Paul McCartney in November of 1980 and John Lennon puts out double fantasy, you listen to it and hear just like starting over. You realize and understand it's directed towards you and maybe you kind of reminisce about the past and your relationship and what not. Maybe you even are planning to reconcile,to call again, or even go and visit. Whatever. And then BOOM. He gets SHOT AND KILLED. Just TWO WEEKS! after you hear it. You had no time to act with any thought you wanted. You thought you could've had it worked out, maybe it wouldn't even taken 10 years at this point. But NO!! HE DIED
