Reblog this if you like Harry Potter. No questions, just do. It'll make sense later.
Draco looks over his left shoulder, then his right. No one is around. He presses that ghastly ‘reblog’ button and shuts the laptop. No one can possibly know, he assures himself. No one.

Well, it sounds like he doesn't tolerate diary all that well. If it's the milk protein, it's takes at least 4 weeks to leave his system after starting a diet. Lactose I don't know but it's probably much less? Milk protein builds up so he might not get symptoms the first time you reintroduce it. It took us months after reintroducing it to be sure that Maja still has the allergy because her symptoms weren't severe or consistent.
If you give him dairy again start with lactose free stuff, if he reacts to that too, then it's the protein.
Here's a great article I think you should read.
https://www.isitcowsmilkallergy.co.uk/en-gb/getting-my-baby-diagnosed/cma-or-lactose-intolerance
It's all very confusing and difficult to figure out, but most babies do grow it out eventually.
James and Dairy
It honestly doesn’t seem like James has a milk allergy, it just really seems like he’s lactose intolerant. I am still breastfeeding (expressed milk in a bottle) and haven’t cut out dairy myself. I know that that would mean he’s still getting lactose considering breastmilk has lactose in it… But I don’t know how else to explain it.
As part of his solids diet, some of the items he’d get daily were things like shredded cheese, yogurt, and cottage cheese. Every single night he would get terrible gas regardless of whether we gave him simethicone. Like, screaming, straining and arching his back for up to an hour, until he’d finally pass the gas (which was always vile smelling). And then he’d be awake again in 1.5-2 hours to do it all over again. He was waking up 5-6 times per night.
Since we stopped feeding him those items, he hasn’t had a single episode like that. Now he wakes up 1-2 times per night whining and almost always goes right back to sleep with a little milk and some snuggling. (He can even occasionally get himself back to sleep, which is something he’d never been able to do before.)
It’s been about a week and a half since he had an episode. (EDIT: Well, he did have a bad night Monday night, but we think that was about the cabbage I ate). I’m going to wait a few more days and then slowly introduce some dairy products back in. Maybe it was just TOO MUCH lactose in between my milk and the solid items?

We finally started Konmari this weekend. We're almost finished with clothes, we only have the coats and shoes left. Oh, and Maja's stuff. My only problem is that we don't have drawers for our tops and sweaters, so we can't fold them properly.

Every “noise detected” means I had to go in and nurse Maja back to sleep. At the last one I gave up and went to sleep with her.

Maja just took a 2 hour nap (with a nursing session after an hour)in the middle of the day. Could she be transitioning to 1 big nap per day? I’d really like that. Her normal routine so far was a 30 minute catnap around 11 and then a longer, some times 90 minute nap around 3.30pm.
Her first nap was great for cooking, but now that she’s walking around I can prepare some stuff and finish cooking when she’s napping.
Yay for naps!!

I gave in to the hype. We bought it for my MIL since she loves organising things but she still has an amazing amount of crap in her house. Her birthday is 3 weeks away, I’m planning to finish it by then.
