i can barely remember what even happened in january but i got a new job which leaves me with very little time for myself. these days i just watch dramas and go to bed early. i don't really get to blog anymore which was honestly my favorite part of the day but what can i do!!!! i don't even get to use my phone at work and my browser activity is always monitored sigh 😭 i miss my life

I haven’t been enjoying drama watching as much as I used to. I never quite find the dramas that can stick with me for longer than a month. Sometimes I think I’ve found the one and then I think about it some more and I end up moving on pretty fast.

I’ve also been pressuring myself to watch more and more dramas which makes no sense 😭 I’m tempted to do the same as you and just start dramas that I know I’ll like.

2024 was a movie year for me! I went to the cinema quite a lot and discovered quite a few different movies. Again, I don’t think any of them (expect one or two perhaps) will become my favourite favourite but watching movies is an experience I appreciate in and on itself.

The aim for 2025 is to watch one film per week! Please share any movies you want to watch this year (if you have any) so that I can try and watch some of them <3

i will try and log my 2025 movies here but i can't promise anything good asdhfsjfs my watch list is filled with shallow picks (movies that have good looking actors in it 🤡) so who knows maybe ill end up hating them all.

and im sorry to hear drama watching hasn't been enjoyable for you. :'( with the sheer volume of dramas being produced and released every day i get that it can get repetitive and boring quickly. definitely look for other media or hobbies don't try to get out of the slump; if it happens it happens hehe. im glad movies was working for you at least!! it's so much fun going to the movie theater and the watching experience is better than what u get at home!!! i hope you get to go to the theater a lot more in 2025 and i look forward to your cool stories 🥰

im always grateful to people introducing me to media and i hope you can show me a few things you like too <3 i don't have cinephile friends irl but i have the next best thing which is being friends with nico and ellis who watch a crazy amount of movies every year shout out to them i would be nothing without the mutuals on my screen <3

hi beloved anon!!! im sorry im 2 days late, but i hope you had an amazing new year's eve and 2025 will treat you well!!!! <3

2024 was an unhealthy year for my media consumption. i binged so many dramas to the point where id wake up feeling dizzy on some days… that was so not worth it. i will definitely slow down with dramas in this new year. maybe i should only start shows i know i will enjoy instead of trying to watch everything since so many of them made me angry. but i did reach my goal of completing 120 dramas anyway!

as for my goals for 2025, i will focus more on movies! i have a huge backlog of movies that i've been wanting to watch so let's hope it goes well for me. what about you? tell me how your 2024 went and what you have planned for 2025 too!! maybe we can end up watching the same things!
