Got a couple more Astarion scenes yesterday while I was playing:
Propositioning Panic, who finally has understood that it's teasing and playing time, and actively participates. Does try to give Astarion an out and he responds with no no no I *want* to, which is interesting for character development reasons. Got the "what if I said I love you" "you'd be lying" because Panic absolutely knows that's not true and Astarion to his credit gleefully admits that yes this isn't *love* (but also he doesn't outright say it's *just sex* either, and afterwards they refer to each other with hideously sugary wording, and he's finally stopped being a prickly sourpuss when I speak to him because his approval rating is high end of good instead of low end of neutral FINALLY)
Now when I click Astarion to start a conversation, Panic says some gross fluffy thing like "first in my heart" which I suppose means my big himbo of a tiefling has fallen in love even of he knows the object of his desires is not quite there yet. Astarion is still distant but the furrowed brow and closed off expression are gone. His tone is warmer and he leans in when talking to Panic rather than slightly turned away like he's making sure he can literally flee from the conversation if things go sour.
Also the dice gods are being nicer to me
Mercenaries: we'll sell you our kidnapped slave if you pay up
Panic: I pay for slaves exclusively in knuckle sandwiches delivered directly to their captors
Mercenaries: o-okay nvm u scary
Everyone except Astarion: good. Asshole.
Panic: babe stop being so bitter about me saving people, I saved that owlbear cub just for you remember
Astarion: grumblegrumble how come you didn't save me 200 years ago then grumblegrumble
Panic: I WASN'T BORN YET OR I WOULD HAVE PUNCHED CAZADOR'S LIGHTS OUT 200 YEARS AGO OK
How would you trim your euphorbia? I have one and it's main plant is like 4'8" already and I have no idea how I'm getting it back inside this fall
first indoor plant thrown back out for the year 👏 normally wait till it’s always over 10C but I think this thing can handle it. its some type of euphorbia, never flowered. and in classic euphorbia style it is just getting more and more top heavy each year, hence the massive heavy pot
