i really like ema's design and . Very calm demeanor? She's different from like hikaru and inori and all the others because she seems a bit more placidly competent.and suzu is really funny and I can't wait to see her and hikaru duke it out possibly at the Olympics. I really really like the new coach guy .and I like what they're doing with tsukasa

it's fun to see the mangaka put the worf effect(I think that's what it's called) into such effect because obviously mittens was the main 'top tier rival'for a bit there but she's going into big shock and wonder frame's here as well and it's most kf what we see of her. you're in the big leagues now or some shit

I feel like I've definitely said this before but it is very fun to read a sportsmanga where I actually do and understand the sport! Like I'm not an advanced figure skater by any means, like barely even passible and I'm certainly not competing but it makes me feel accomplished yknow?

I'm not saying much about the manga proper but thats because honestly I feel like I'm picking up what it's putting down I just can't say anything about it I'm not like.smart or concise enough lol. I like the .how to say it the continued like kid's liberation from their parents angle to it(???) I think that's really wonderful. From what I've heard about hikaru and iruka and how mittens reacts to the adults around her and how inori's mom's whole deal is played out it's just setting up for something fun! Also I forgot how much I like stories about ambition and challenge lol

finished the medalist volume one! gosh I miss ice skating. I'm really invested in the kitty girl I hope she turns out alright. Hikaru is already pretty fun! I like the weird coach lady as well I hope she keeps showing up
