I have to say, one of the things I love that the manga sequel "Return to Labyrinth" addresses is how Sarah applied to Juilliard School, a prestigious performing arts college, and was rejected. That rejection shattered her dreams of becoming an actress so much she fell into a state of despair----which is SO REAL. But just like with Labyrinth, by the end of it all, Sarah grows and realizes that despite being rejected, she must continue following her own path. If she can't become an actress, then she'll continue on with her dreams in another form--- and that's writing a fairytale-esue like novel based on her adventures of the Labyrinth. I just think that speaks so deeply to a lot of us.
