Looking for RP connections, and an FC!

(I’m on Mateus, but am also open to doing cross-server things on Discord if needed/wanted! Picture on this post was taken by @manufactory-of-musings because I have a potato computer and she doesn’t, get at her for all your photoshoot needs! English isn’t my first language so if I word some things strangely, that’s why and I apologise.)

Name: Nora Rockbreaker Age: 34 Gender: Cis female Sexuality: Homosexual Race/Sub-race: Hyur/Highlander Occupation: Member of the Ala Mhigan Resistance, also takes hunting contracts (rarely) and works as a bricklayer and building merchant for the Resistance efforts. Residence: Between Ul’dah and Rhalgr’s Reach since the liberation of Ala Mhigo. Formerly just Rhalgr’s Reach and Gyr Abania until very recently. Hometown: Ala Ghiri, Gyr Abania

Background: Like many Ala Mhigan’s, Nora has seen the downfall of her home nation and now the resurgence of faith and hope within it. She has lived a tumultuous life for someone of only 34 summers, but this is nothing unusual for a Gyr Abania born person. Her parents, both later resistance fighters themselves, brought Nora up doing the things her whole family had done for generations. Cooking and building homes and silos were a large part of their income until the heavy oppression of Garlean rule became too much to bear. As a family, they moved to Rhalgr’s Reach after pledging allegiance to the Resistance. It was either that, or become indebted in servitude under the Imperial thumb, and Nora’s parents were far too free of spirit to succumb so easily. Through the events of Stormblood, Nora and her family fought valiantly side by side with their brothers and sisters. Nora’s family were knocked down in number after the numerous battles, but still the remaining ones soldier on. Nora is currently living between Ul’dah and Gyr Abania, helping to secure trade in the building industry and to rebuild damaged structures and villages mostly, though sometimes she’ll drop by an adventurer’s guild to make some extra money with a contract or two.

Possible Story Hooks: - Trader/merchant in the building/bricklaying business: This might be an unlikely one but if your character has any connections to the building or bricklaying industries in Ul’dah or Gyr Abania, there’s a good chance Nora knows of them at the very least, and that’s if she isn’t already actively trading with them. - Gyr Abanian freedom/Resistance fighter, member of the Alliance, etc.: This is pretty self-explanatory. If your character fought in the fight to regain control of Ala Mhigo in any way, shape or form, then there’s a chance that them and Nora could have met and even worked together. - Fellow Ala Ghiri born people: Again, self-explanatory. Especially if they’re around Nora’s age, (or older if you want to go the family friend route?) there’s a good chance of them knowing each other! - Anyone who has lived, worked, or generally been around Rhalgr’s Reach recently: Nora has been in Rhalgr’s Reach for a time, even going so far as to still call it ‘home’ to a point. Maybe your character is a resistance fighter seeking solace or a trader who’s looking to trade now the war is (mostly) over? - Anything else! I’m open for absolutely any kind of RP at any time, (except ERP which I’m a lot more selective about...) so if you have an idea please let me know somehow!

About the Mun/OOC stuffs: I’m Tea, in my 30′s, parent to three kids (so I might disappear randomly and come back after a while...) and an avid roleplayer. I have a main character on a different server which I use for raiding and stuff - I like to keep them and Nora separate. Nora is jump potioned but is only level 61, (I need to work on leveling her.) but if you can ignore/excuse that then we’ll get on great! I have played all of SB so no need to worry about spoilers. I’m on GMT but while I live in the UK English isn’t my first language so please excuse slip ups and mistakes! If you would like my Discord username, please just ask!
