knitting opinions that literally no one asked for or will care abt bc im feeling like a bitch:

- purling is fine actually, you just knit continental and think you're better than everyone else for it. and youve never touched anything more complex than basic cabling and maybe an eyelet detail.

- italian bind off doesnt suck you're just impatient, same with tubular cast on (notice how im not saying italian cast on bc thats a failed attempt at a quick tubular cast on and is the actual worst cast on out there)

- i will never touch needle sizes over 5mm, and ideally keep below 4mm if i can help it bc fine gauge is just better

- all of those 'difficult and advanced' knitting techniques are actually fine if you're willing to spend more than a couple weeks on a project
