#115 - New Day

The comic is 4 panels

Panel 1 - Alain is waking up in her bed. She stretches and yawns. Her hair is messy and covers her face

Panel 2 - We cut to looking into the kitchen from the outside, through the window. On the counter there is a kettle and a box of lapsang souchong. Alain is besides the standing fridge, with a can of pet food in one hand, noticing the cactus in the window that Normal moved there.

Panel 3 - Now we move to the kitchen floor, where a plate of cat food sits already eaten. Alain, bending down with the new can hesitates. Alain: "Oh you've been fed already. Sorry buddy." Boogie the cat walks in, looking up hopefully

Panel 4 - Alain has stood back up beside the fridge. She is still holding the can of pet food. Normal has appeared to one side. He is holding a mug. Normal: "Oh hey, you're up. There's fresh coffee in the pot"

#114 - Bad Day

The comic is 4 panels

Panel 1 - Alain stands in the background. Normal walks past in the foreground. He is slumped forward, his eyelid is drooping and his pupil is more dimmed than usual

Panel 2 - Cushions fly past Alain from the direction Normal was walking in

Panel 3 - We cut to a view of the living room. The sofa in the centre has been rearranged with blankets and cushions into a pillow fort. Normal, having reformed his tendrils into a beetle-like formation, scuttles into the fort

Panel 4 - Alain, talking from off-screen: "Bad day?" A sad whine lulls out from within the fort

Panel 1 - Normal is talking into the camera. We don't see at who. He holds his hands out, making peace. Normal: "Listen"

Panel 2 - He explains, pointing his hands around together as he does so. Normal: "I think we should set some rules"

Panel 3 - He looks off to one side. Normal: "I just need some space"

Panel 4 - Normal pinches his forehead and clenches his eyes. Normal: "When I see you. I have all these feelings"

Panel 5 - We change perspective. Normal is knelt on the floor, looking down at Boogie the cat. Boogie raises a paw. Boogie: "Mew?"

Panel 6 - Normal flips out on the floor, legs turned to jelly, while Boogie looks on. Normal: "Aaaaaaaaaa I love you"

Panel 1 - Normal is talking to himself. He is stood in a strong pose, fist clenched triumphantly. Normal: "That promo went pretty good"

Panel 3 - He thinks, playing his hand thoughtfully on his chin. Normal: "Wait. Do I promo them back? Should I message them?"

Panel 4 - Normal clutches his head, now worrying. Normal: "How does this work?"

Panel 5 - We cut to a scene of a person sat with a laptop at a desk. They are depicted in a negative color scheme

Panel 6 - We zoom out, the person has turned around, seeing Normal is now there. He is knelt on one knee and holding out a small robot baby in a bundle towards the person. Normal: "I bring you my son"

Panel 1 - Normal and Alain are stood looking at something behind the camera together. Alain: "This was a good year"

Panel 2 - Alain scruffles Normal's head and Normal smiles. Alain: "You did good kid"

Panel 3 - We turn around to see Normal's note board on the wall of his office again. The mathematical formula on one post-it-note has changed, while the to-do note on the other has changed to 'update calendar'. One of the small posters of Chris Gethard has been switched for a piece of fan-art made by user @peskyplayz953 from the twitch stream. Normal's list of resolutions from the previous new year is still pinned in the centre. Several items have been crossed off in red: self sufficiency, seek interaction, trick or treat at more than 1 house, more content and growth, have all been marked complete on the list

Panel 1 - Boogie the cat is laid out on his back, looking comfortably sleepy, belly raised to the sky. Panel 1 - We see the screen of Normal's phone as he reads it. He is browsing @dear-future-ai on tumblr and is reading a post by @roboticsuggestion. The blogs write posts and post submissions with the theme of being directed at burgeoning artificial intelligence, for the purposes of personal growth. The post reads: "it's alright to feel close to nature. Afterall, technology is only natural parts that have been refined and worked until they become something new. Your metal parts are descended from mountains and ore mines. The electricity in your veins is birthed from the Lightning of powerful thunderstorms. The Artificial comes from the Natural." Normal reads out loud the core motif of the post. Normal: "It's alright to feel close to nature..."

Panel 2 - We zoom out to see Normal, phone in one hand, thinking to himself. His has his hand to his chin in thought

Panel 3 - Normal turns to look at the cactus plant in the corner. The corner is dark and the cactus does not look healthy. Normal: "Yes"

Panel 1 - We see a nonspecific bird creature in the grassy outdoors. A poké ball rolls towards it, stopping short. The bird looks at it with a question mark

The kitchen windows are open and just inside of them Boogie the cat is on the sink counter, leaning towards a plate of pet food that has been left out for him. Panel 1 - Normal is working in the office at his laptop. His back is turned to us. To one side sites his 'world's most normal robot' mug

Panel 2 - A loud 'brrrmmmmmm' sound comes from somewhere off-screen. Normal turns around from the laptop towards the sound

Panel 3 - Normal has moved to welcome the arrival. He is waving happily off-screen at the person. Normal: "Oh hey, you're back"

Panel 4 - It is Alain. She stands, shoulders drawn tight and face obscured in the shadow of her hair. Ghosts, wailing spirits, smoke, a bespectacled apparition all hang around her. Normal gestures a friendly hello: "So how are youu?"
