you tell these people a million times to go through the vág valley because literally every other road is completely overtaken by betyár and what do they do. take a wild fucking guess
workposting. whenever i'm trying to wrangle people to [fill out forms] or [review other people's forms on my schedule, without paying them] and getting pissed off, i experience epigenetic memories of transylvania 1571, where i am a bureaucrat attempting to navigate the treaty of speyer like. ugh the sultan's emissary didn't like our principality's gift of ten black stallions. can you believe that shit. yeah his excellence says they're not black enough

saw together. my thoughts
1. i do think they probably ripped it off. for some reason these two have always seemed like the type. plus the original writer's STUDIO is the one who sued ... it seems unlikely that they would do that if there wasn't some documentation to support the plagarism
2. the script was the weakest part of the movie. cave element was sort of random and pointless. if anything can be the catalyst for this transformation, including nothing, then given the movie themes shouldn't the house be that catalyst? and the cult served what role? characters seemed to feel whatever the scene called for without it being clear what triggered what change. but the staging and like horror set pieces worked, which are not script dependant.
3. final shot of this movie completely hilariously collapsed any ambiguity and kind of erased all the framing + cinematography + imagery that i liked in the moment from my mind
4. theres a jump scare early on that looked really good but also was noticably different than the other scares, which to me tooked like practical contortionist or prosthetic shit. im convinced it was ai. i cant prove it but a woman knows
