Hello Rock'n'Rollers. ✌ Today we were supposed to play a cover set at the JustALittleBitDangerous Fest // Alte Meierei Kiel - and in the next weeks a lot of other great Shows. We would have loved to play these gigs. Since most of them will be postponed to 2021, we hope that next year's Festival Summer will look similar to this one. Who knows - maybe we'll be able to play some Shows at the End of the year. But at least we'll keep on writing new Songs for a next Album. Hello! Wir haben im März mit Dr. JoyBoy Love in den BOAH! We're only singing about always trying to look for, understand and learn about the pitfalls of reproducing misogynist views and actions, us and a lot of people we know grew up with. In the hopes of sometimes transcending that shit and bridging the divisions between each other - even if just for 2.5 minutes. ❗️Der Song ist definitiv keine Anleitung dafür, wie mensch Denkmuster wie, "Frauen*stimmen/vocals etc. find ich generell schwierig" ablegen kann. Oder wie aufgehört werden kann, einen offenen Umgang mit Emotionen oder MakeUp als "Schwäche" zu empfinden - kurz gesagt: Er ist keine Anleitung dafür, wie die ansozialisierte Konkurrenz bzw. Mißgunst unter Frauen* (aller Gender) und die internalisierten sexistischen gesellschaftlichen Strukturen außer Kraft gesetzt werden können. Dieser Song will sagen: Wir nehmen diese Mechanismen wahr, wir sehen was Misogynie, ob internalisiert, bewusst oder unerkannt, anrichten kann und wir haben Bock da drüber hinweg zu kommen -- Auch wenn erstmal nur für ca. 2,5 Minuten.
