Sometimes I really agree with your takes and then I remember you’re 30 something posting about fandom politics, then I get deeply ashamed for the both of us.

why? fandom is a thing people of all ages do and always have done. it historically has overwhelmingly been an activity by and for adults. my fandom space, which largely deals with erotic fictional material, certainly is. it’s one part of my life. of course people in a specific social space that shapes how they express themselves creatively and intellectually and the relationships they form and how they flourish will comment on the politics of said social space. this is my fandom blog so i mostly comment on fandom. i comment on other stuff elsewhere. deal with your own hangups on your own time.
