the narrative that c!tommy used c!techno is kind of diabolical tbh, people often forgot that c!tommy is fresh out of exile and doesn't consider the place that he's in.

He's running on pure instinct, fresh from suicide attempt and running from his abuser and the only one he can confide in is c!techno the criminal that destroyed his home country. Despite their history c!techno still took him in, but why? He could of just kick c!tommy from his house and let him run lose in the tundra of snow and let him survive on his own while c!drm sniff over his trails of footstep. But he took him in and protect him from the looming threat of his abuser.

And its sad, its very sad that even if c!Techno took c!Tommy in he used it as an opportunity. An opportunity to use c!Tommy as a pawn in his quest for anarchy. Now, you might be thinking, but c!techno took him in, take care of him and even defended c!tommy ,why are you painting him as this heartless villain that used an abused child for his own gains? Frankly, I try not to and maybe its also in the way i'am awful with articulating my words into something that make sense. I truly do not think c!Techno is heartless and his relationship with c!tommy does have a sincerity in it.

But I think my main point is that, there was a power imbalance between c!tommy and c!techno that people often overlooked. Like I said c!Tommy is fresh out of exile n traumatized n stuff and he's in a weaker position and his only hope in escaping his abuser is c!Techno since he is the only character thats is deadass near logstedshire and also one of the most powerful people in the esempi.

And also I just do not think painting an abuse survivor trying to find help as an act of... That, is a nice message you know 😁 haha- not to get real and get to the implication of stuff- but ahahaha, yk haha. ANYWAY.

I don't think c!techno is a heartless monster, like I said i think his relationship with c!tommy has sincerity within it. I think as time goes on, i think techno grew actual care toward tommy evidence by his interaction with tommy as time goes on growing more closer and affectionate and his strong reaction when tommy left him for tubbo.

But still, c!Techno treats tommy more of a pawn in his quest for anarchy, you also have to remember that he will send off c!tommy to his abuser again without a second though if c!drm used his favor. Of course, if you were in c!tommy place, why would you stay with a guy like that? He goes againts everything you stand for and you don't even know if you're safe with him. Maybe because he saved your life? Do you really owe him that much that you are willing to destroy your home and even fight your own best friend for him? Was it all transitional? Do I worth anything? Do I not matter as a living breathing human being? Am I not worth of safety?

I just wanna talk about my feeling about c!tommy and c!techno relationship in post-exile arc, because i think i find the narrative a bit icky if you are maybe a survivor of abusive relationship. I also wanna talk about the interesting bit of sincerity their relationship actually kind of have, that despite c!techno using c!tommy as pawn he does actually cares in the very end. Which is sad to think about

horrible guilty pleasure comfort thing at the moment is reading dsmp fanfics (mainly SBI hurt/comfort) 😔 and it’s just like. UGHHHHH. i miss it so bad. is it bad that i miss like. the dream smp. before everything fell apart and people were shitty. like. i lowkey would kill to experience the joy i did being 13/14 years old in 2020-early 2022 and watching those livestreams. and it’s just like. UGH.

now everyone is weird. the only ones i trust and keep up with anymore are like the ones who were literally teenagers/the age i am now during it (tommy, tubbo, ranboo) and i like keeping up with phil just bc he’s fun and seems polite.

but like. i was never into dream so when stuff came out about him i was like oh yeah fuck him. but nothing will explain the sheer dread when the stuff on wilbur came out. like. i was SOOOO into his music and lovejoy was actually really good imo, as someone who is genuinely into music and not just following along like “oo my favorite youtuber made music” like it was actually GOOD and i showed it to my dad and we tried getting tickets and i was sad i couldn’t and it’s just. what the fuck???

once again. UGH. i miss the vibes. i miss making my dramatic fanart and screaming over the average lore just because it was FUN.

i got close with some of my closest friends and even closer with already close friends by connecting over that little minecraft thing. i have a lmanburg flag folded in my closet and copious drawings of the streamers as their characters. i just miss it.

i feel like i cant find anything with the same vibe either since starting to reread the fanfics. like maybe if i start watching hermit craft? please feel free to leave suggestions!!!!!!!!!

Afaik for Alice there wasn't a month, she just said that it happened in 2021. I don't think we're ever gonna get exact months from her though. In fact, I don't think we're gonna get new info from either Alice or Nikki period so all we can do is speculate about that. It is possible he stopped when she passed out, but it's still really gross to undress someone who's on the verge of passing out with sexual intentions in mind. That's not rape but it sure is something

I'd also like to point out that Wilbur has gone on record saying that the sudden attention on him damaged him mentally. I can't recall if this was about pre-DSMP or post-DSMP, but if it's the latter, then it wouldn't be surprising that he went batshit in 2021 given that's when DSMP was "at its peak".

And even if it's the former, Alice said she dated Wilbur around 2019 where she expressed that he wasn't a good boyfriend. Even going so far as to say that it was known enough that one of Wilbur's friends (unnamed in the post and nobody can figure out who) told her to be careful.

Also yeah, he kinda fucked up the writing too honestly. While I do appreciate the cohesiveness of the DSMP storyline back when he was the main writer, it's still ass that he couldn't have done that and left room for other characters to have almost equal importance as Tommy. I'd argue all we got for that is like Las Nevadas and Eggpire, but the former still has some pretty Tommy-centric shit, especially near the end and the latter felt like it was treated as having less importance. Though I will admit that these thoughts of mine are also exacerbated by the fandom being Tommy centric in just about everything (Finding a single DSMP fic that's not shipping-centric and not Tommy-centric is basically impossible).

The USMP and QSMP thing sucks. But I do honestly still believe Quackity was in the right. He should have said something about Dream's family being doxxed, that wasn't cool at all. But like Dream making a public thread about it instead of just doing the normal person thing and asking their mutual(?) friends to DM Quackity in private is. a thing.

I hate having to say this but every time he comes up, people always fuck up on this part so:

Shubble and Wilbur being mutually toxic/abusive is fair game honestly. I don't really know if it's possible for it to just be a shitty situation where nobody's at fault. If she's lying about it all, then I have no doubt she'd be willing to do worse to Wilbur in that relationship.

I feel like you're making a lot of assumptions for Wilbur to give him more credit than he has, first with the thing about him being aromantic (which afaik has never been confirmed) and now with him being used to scrapping friends and shit. Not to say that I blame you or anything, much of this situation is basically just speculation bouncing off what is at best testimonies from unreliable narrators.

I also feel like you're being very unfair in how you assume Tommy and Quackity handled this. I'm not sure if he's said anything anywhere and if he did, excuse me for I haven't seen that and would like some links. While it's fair to assume Quackity dropped him without talking about it (We all saw the QSMP v USMP debate), I don't think it's fair to say Tommy didn't at least try.

Tommy quite literally has said he views Wilbur as an older brother figure like multiple times. Ofc he could be lying or exaggerating for views/money, but he (IIRC??) stuck with Dream through the allegations before slowly pulling back. I doubt that Tommy wouldn't have at least tried to get Wilbur's side before dropping him.

Also this is kind of an unrelated tangent, but even if all the shit against Wilbur is false, we have to question the fact this man relied on a teenager to help him live and voiced as such to said teenager. This isn't really as bad as everything else though.

Quackity and Tommy both had excuses to not respond immediately. The latter is probably inclined to ask Wilbur if it's true. The former is a coinflip on whether or not he did, I'm a (past) Quackity stan and even I can admit that. They had the time. People were pressing them for a response, sure, but many more (not even including their friends) were telling them to relax.

Also yeah, ableism leads to abuse so I wouldn't be surprised if she ever did do shit to him too. It is mutually shitty. I can see why both she (and Wilbur) do want to deny that they did real damage to each other though.

Niki not voicing that they're exes is normal as well. With how parasocial people were in the DSMP fandom, I can see why they didn't want to even slightly admit they had history with each other as lovers. Didn't know about her history of ableism though.

Alice said that she passed out after Wilbur undressed her non-consensually. Then the following morning he said she must be a lesbian for not being interested in him. She said this happened in 2021 so, again, he could have changed. However, even if he did change, I think him not addressing this (and presumably never apologising to Alice) is still weird.
