"@rhysiedarby was truly a beautiful goldfish! I feel like in that first production meeting when discussing if it should be CG or practical you could just feel everyone wanting it to be practical. It was on zoom - and I remember thinking that it looked like @gypsytaylor little square window was glowing out of excitement. She was going to get to design an amazing mermaid tail. Stunts was a little nervous. We had to submerge our lead underwater with a heavy ass tail that made using his legs almost impossible. But god damn did the mermaid come out of that man! He couldn’t help but ham it up around set all day."
