PERSPECTIVE- isn’t that the name of the game.. I was feeling so sorry for myself recently.. as a nurse.. as a daughter of a beautiful mother with COPD and diabetes and just feeling stress that I don’t bring COVID-19 to work or home to my mom... *Perspective- a dear friend lost her mom to COVID-19 and she lives here in the states and her mom was in Honduras- she couldn’t be there to help.. PERSPECTIVE- Same dear friend told me this week that she had been out of work because she had breast cancer (she told no one) had it removed.. I already knew she walks 45 minutes to work.. 45 minutes home.. rain, heat, storm, cold.. NEVER complains.. works hard as hell giving 100% everyday-what I just found out is for the past week and a half she has left work .. walked to the hospital, received radiation, walked 45 mins home.. she told me.. and I broke down in tears.. Just keeps pushing forward.. ( well she lives in a different direction than me and works 8 hour shifts not 12 as I do so I can possibly drive her .. I did purchase her an @uber gift card.. and offered her love and support.. but talk about PERSPECTIVE.. my best friend lost the love of her life less than a year ago, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was gone in a few months.. she has been taking care of her mother in law.. so beautiful on all of her days off and after work.. And she just told me her mother in law passed away.. PERSPECTIVE..
