Local vs destination? In your opinion which is better
Happy Good Friday Sissy Pooh!
From what I am learning - destination is so much better. One, if you come from a big family, it gives you the ability to "invite" all of mommy's an pappy's friends knowing they won't show up lol. It also allows you to have a smaller more intimate wedding as well. Right now, we're planning for the south of France about 40 minutes outside of Bordeaux in the land of the castles. So I'm literally getting my dream wedding for a fraction of the cost.

Mrs. New New
With the new new.
I am so sorry. I feel like I've been neglecting my Sissy Poohs. Don't worry, I'll be coming with the tea - most likely this weekend.
I have a few things I wanna chat about:
Wedding planning
Traveling for my sister's wedding
The process of officially becoming the MRS.
And some summer events.
But y'all will hear from me starting this weekend.
With love,
Mrs. Chanel
P.S. I thought I would have so much free time once the semester ends in May, but between finalizing the move to NYC and renting out our first property, I am spread thin chilllllle. It's crazy. But good crazy.

Hi there new college grad from Tennessee really wanting to move NYC. Any advice like which of the 5 boroughs are good to live in ? Is the cost of living manageable any tips In general would be appreciated! Like what are the pros and cons
Hey Sissy Pooh!
And yes, I love it. NYC is so much fun. Personally, we're looking for a place in Harlem. For me, it's not as congested as Brooklyn and its about 25 minutes from NYU (dream school for the ABSN program). I also feel like Harlem is close to everything. The Bronx is a little too urban for my personal style. Manhattan is nice but super expensive. Long Island is more like the suburb of New York and not too far from the city like upstate New York. But Harlem and Brooklyn have nice places that are more reasonably priced.
I won't lie, New York is expensive. As long as you're ready to spend some money you'll be fine.
Also, this would be the best time to create a budget if you haven't already made one. Add projected rent, personal maintenance, travel expenses, groceries, etc.
With love,
Mrs. Chanel
