Guys, this is close to my heart. I had no idea any of this went on until i got to Thailand. Lek Chailert is to elephants what Jane Goodall is to chimpanzees. Truly, an amazing woman and conservationist who started out with a passion for these incredibly complex creatures. Lek has a documentary, Love and Bananas, founded the Save Elephant Foundation, and Runs Elephant Nature Park in Thailand along with multiple projects all around Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam, including the Saddle off and the Karen projects.

On YouTube you can look up Elephant on the Edge and see what it really rakes to break an elephant into obedience. These giants were not meant to be submissive or obedient. They are awe-inspiring and the epitome of gentleness.

im very grateful for the lessons in photography i was taught in stop motion class because just now they made it possible to photograph the stars with my phone in spite of the camera usually not detecting the light of stars because theyre so dim,,,, enjoy these shiny motherfuckers
