Thinking thoughts about how Robin's basically most famous quote is "platonic with a capital p" - which makes total sense because the music that plays during Steve's admittance of "love" in S3, which was then followed with Robin's coming out and them becoming best friends, was literally The First I love You. Aka love without a capital L. Meaning it wasn't real love.

Insane how the writers establish these norms and codes to help the viewers determine the legitmacy of other relationships cough cough the mileven kiss at the end of s3 having the same song playing in the bg cough cough.

tbh i think it will be mutual like they will both sense the moment and initiate it

i lowkey imagine a slowmo shot of each of their faces like a shot from the other person’s pov,then they would both slowly lean in and kiss and it will be like a slow emotional first kiss, after that they would look at each other for a sec before going in for a way more fast paced, pasionate and hungrier kiss ykwim i’m sorry if i describe it weirdly lol

anyways, i honestly don’t have strong opinions about the first kiss, and i also trust the duffers completely so either way it’s gonna be, i know it will be perfect!!!

the way the only argument most milevens have that is “proving” byler is not happening is that mike is straight

like no babe that’s just your assumption of him and you’re just looking at the very surface of it (even though i never get how the s3 ending scene doesn’t click for everyone as mike’s realisation scene)

they never bring up the actual scenes, instead they say “no byler is not happening because mike is straight and he said he loves el” girl especially this show is more about show than tell and they want you to think about it a bit

many milevens argue, that unrequited love is a reoccurring theme in st (robin liking a girl who was into steve, dustin liking max and not getting her) and therefore it wouldn’t be unrealistic for mike to not like will back

the thing is, both of those rejections happened within one season, the next one they were already with/into someone new

will is IN LOVE with mike, it’s not just a silly crush. and he has been for the past 4 seasons, it’s not gonna fade away- the van scene wasn’t him “saying goodbye” to his crush, he is still in so much pain because of how much he loves mike he can’t help it. and to show us that he is still really not over it, there is the pizza scene- he is literally still yearning!!!!!

i’m all for keeping it a surprise and secret till s5 releases and not giving away many spoilers but they only official promo we got this year was the eleven poster if i remember correctly

like i think a picture or two (even if it’s bts idcccc atp) wouldn’t do any harm and would keep us talking about it for a few weeks
