I’ve seen the baseball bat and katana brought up for a lot of Dessknight and Carolknight theories. While the evidence is there, it seems to me that it’s basically impossible for either of them to be the Knight’s weapon

Upon beating the knight in Chapter 3, you get the Black Shard, which is a chipped-off piece of the Knight’s sword. Since it comes from the knight’s sword, bringing it to the light world should turn it into a piece of whatever that sword was made from.

However, the light world equivalent is an item also known as the “black shard”, which is made of some sort of black glass.

So, the object is made of some sort of black glass, meaning it’s not a bat and not the katana in the kitchen (there is a black katana in Carol’s room you can find by hacking, but it looks like it’s just sheathed)

I lied, I do hate the epilogues with a burning passion.

I've attempted to move on from this in a mature way. A drastic personality shift pushed me to leave such petty things in the past. But I haven't truly escaped that fiery rage that rushes through me at the slightest mention of the absolute monstrosity that is the epilogues. I don't remember what all I said here, and I'm not rereading it because I don't care. But let it be known that the spirit of FTE is not dead and though it may have hidden, it will never truly disapear.
