Writing advice from a 17 year old caffeine-dependent ADHDer who has been writing ever since he could hold a pencil:
First and foremost, write that outline. Figure out exactly what you're going to do with your story before you do anything else. Write down all the important plot points first, then expand on them as needed. Write your main characters (at least their basic traits), do some worldbuilding, and once you have that foundation, THEN start writing the actual scenes.
Talk to people about your stories, especially if you're in a group with other storytellers. This gives you the opportunity to hear how others process and view your work, which can help a lot with your confidence in your writing, your motivation to write, and your own understanding of your writing. You can also request a specific type of feedback (questions, constructive criticism, compliments, blunt criticism, etc.) so you get responses that will actually help you.
DO NOT USE AI FOR WRITING NO MATTER WHAT. "But I just use it for-" I DO NOT CARE, YOU ARE STILL USING A BRAIN-EATING, CREATIVITY-KILLING MACHINE THAT WILL ONLY HARM YOUR WRITING. I used to use AI and it stunted my growth as a writer so greatly that I had to commit myself to never using it again, and I know that sounds scary for those of you still using it, but it will have to happen eventually if you want to grow as a writer. It will not do you any good, no matter what you use it for. "But it makes it easy for me to make stories!" Write more oneshots. Write outlines. Write short stories. Fucking daydream at least. "But I use it to proofread!" Proofread your own damn work. It's not hard, and it's way better for your mind and the story itself. "But—" DO IT YOURSELF OR ASK A FRIEND, A HUMAN BEING, TO HELP YOU. IT NEEDS TO BE DONE BY A HUMAN OR IT WILL BE STRAIGHT ASS. THAT IS NOT UP FOR DEBATE. I hope I drilled that in well enough.
I get it, sometimes you're low on energy, so you need easy ways to develop your story. If you don't know how to do that without AI, because you CANNOT keep sucking robot dick for the sake of instant gratification, here are some easy ones (depending on your skillset): draw your characters and settings, write fake text conversations between characters, use picrew to make your characters, make Pinterest mood boards, or just turn off your phone and daydream about your story! There are a million ways to work on a story without actually writing it, so don't feel too bad if you only have the energy to plan out that one scene in your head instead of writing it. And who knows, maybe doing these little things will actually give you the motivation you needed to write.
Write when you feel big emotions, if you can. You'll pour your heart and soul into your work, and not only will that benefit your writing, but it will also benefit you by helping you process your emotions in a healthy manner.
Finally, give your brain lots of good associations with writing! Have your favourite tea with you and your favourite blanket around your shoulders while you write, or have your favourite instrumentals in the background while sitting in your favourite lighting, or pretend to be a renaissance scholar with a candle and a nice outfit while you write if that's what you need. Make it fun for yourself so your brain will get excited about writing, even if you only do this sometimes!
The most important advice I can give is just. keep on writing. Your stories are a blessing. Even if people criticise your work, even if you feel completely unmotivated, even if you feel like you're not good at it, keep writing for as long as it brings you joy, and share it when you can, because it will bring so many other people joy too, more than you can ever know.

Tips for writing flawed but lovable characters.
Flawed characters are the ones we root for, cry over, and remember long after the story ends. But creating a character who’s both imperfect and likable can feel like a tightrope walk.
1. Flaws That Stem From Their Strengths
When a character’s greatest strength is also their Achilles' heel, it creates depth.
Strength: Fiercely loyal.
Flaw: Blind to betrayal or willing to go to dangerous extremes for loved ones.
“She’d burn the whole world down to save her sister—even if it killed her.”
2. Let Their Flaws Cause Problems
Flaws should have consequences—messy, believable ones.
Flaw: Impatience.
Result: They rush into action, ruining carefully laid plans.
“I thought I could handle it myself,” he muttered, staring at the smoking wreckage. “Guess not.”
3. Show Self-Awareness—or Lack Thereof
Characters who know they’re flawed (but struggle to change) are relatable. Characters who don’t realize their flaws can create dramatic tension.
A self-aware flaw: “I know I talk too much. It’s just… silence makes me feel like I’m disappearing.” A blind spot: “What do you mean I always have to be right? I’m just better at solving problems than most people!”
4. Give Them Redeeming Traits
A mix of good and bad keeps characters balanced.
Flaw: They’re manipulative.
Redeeming Trait: They use it to protect vulnerable people.
“Yes, I lied to get him to trust me. But he would’ve died otherwise.”
Readers are more forgiving of flaws when they see the bigger picture.
5. Let Them Grow—But Slowly
Instant redemption feels cheap. Characters should stumble, fail, and backslide before they change.
Early in the story: “I don’t need anyone. I’ve got this.”
Midpoint: “Okay, fine. Maybe I could use some help. But don’t get used to it.”
End: “Thank you. For everything.”
The gradual arc makes their growth feel earned.
6. Make Them Relatable, Not Perfect
Readers connect with characters who feel human—messy emotions, bad decisions, and all.
A bad decision: Skipping their best friend’s wedding because they’re jealous of their happiness.
A messy emotion: Feeling guilty afterward but doubling down to justify their actions.
A vulnerable moment: Finally apologizing, unsure if they’ll be forgiven.
7. Use Humor as a Balancing Act
Humor softens even the most prickly characters.
Flaw: Cynicism.
Humorous side: Making snarky, self-deprecating remarks that reveal their softer side.
“Love? No thanks. I’m allergic to heartbreak—and flowers.”
8. Avoid Overdoing the Flaws
Too many flaws can make a character feel unlikable or overburdened.
Instead of: A character who’s selfish, cruel, cowardly, and rude.
Try: A character who’s selfish but occasionally shows surprising generosity.
“Don’t tell anyone I helped you. I have a reputation to maintain.”
9. Let Them Be Vulnerable
Vulnerability adds layers and makes flaws understandable.
Flaw: They’re cold and distant.
Vulnerability: They’ve been hurt before and are terrified of getting close to anyone again.
“It’s easier this way. If I don’t care about you, then you can’t leave me.”
10. Make Their Flaws Integral to the Plot
When flaws directly impact the story, they feel purposeful rather than tacked on.
Flaw: Their arrogance alienates the people they need.
Plot Impact: When their plan fails, they’re left scrambling because no one will help them.
Flawed but lovable characters are the backbone of compelling stories. They remind us that imperfection is human—and that growth is possible.

Outis, an android made for war. who has never known warmth or kindness. why would she? there is no need for such things in her world. she's supposed to fight, defend, and kill. nothing more, nothing less. even when she's battered and beaten, feeling pain she shouldn't feel. she is nothing without her assignments, without her missions. or perhaps she is nobody at all, no matter the case. after all, the world wouldn't care if nobody disappeared, in a heap of metal and broken limbs.
at first she gives you only numbers for a name, the designation etched onto her skin. she stiffens when you begin the examination, testing the mobility of her arms and legs, and she knows she's not pretty. her body has been shattered and repaired too many times, an older model either way. yet you don't show a lick of disgust, merely noting down what needs to be touched up and giving her some quiet words of advice, hand resting on her shoulder. she's made for the battlefield, and deserves nothing more. why are you being so gentle with her?
you pause, and ask her name again, and this time she answers with Outis.

I made these as a way to compile all the geographical vocabulary that I thought was useful and interesting for writers. Some descriptors share categories, and some are simplified, but for the most part everything is in its proper place. Not all the words are as useable as others, and some might take tricky wording to pull off, but I hope these prove useful to all you writers out there!

I woke up a week ago and I'm now a-okay. }
As a compensation, I am planning to release 3-4 chapters after this week :)
____________________________________
Its been 2 weeks since the Traveler and Paimon had known about the existence of your otherworldy café, and within that time period, you guys have learned that the door only appears on Teyvat at weekedays. Both of them were devastated at the news. Literally. They spent their whole weekdays with you, they were pouting and whining at how they won't be able to talk to you much more or taste your meals, pastry, and refreshments though, the complaints mostly came from Paimon.
Their sincere sadness, pouts, and sorrowful eyes tugged at your heartstrings, evoking strong sympathy for both of them. They seem to clearly love your creations far more than anything they could prepare or purchase for themselves, so you made up your mind to surprise them for their lovely company and advices in making much more better food. You put your very heart and soul into making something special for your dearly beloved friends, hoping that they won't look so down as much as before when it is time for them to say goodbye.
You were so absorbed in organizing and preparing your suprise that the weekend almost passed you by. You looked at the old ticking clock besise the cashier register and saw that it was 6:55 pm, which was only a few minutes before your scheduled meeting time. You hastily cleaned up after hiding the suprise somewhere they can't quite see. You didn't want any people to recognize them because it would cause tons of trouble not only for you but for Traveller and Paimon as well. So you decided to meet up every 7:00 pm after you close for the day.
At exactly when the clock struck 7:00 pm the door you were once so afraid opened, the soft chime of the bell announced the arrival of your guests. Clearing your throat, you called out cheerfully, 'Welcome, dear customers! Feel free to sit anywhere you like!' The sound of the Traveller’s soft giggles reached your ears, and you turned to greet them with a warm smile. 'Hello, Boss!' they responded in unison, their familiar voices filling the room with an air of comfort and familiarity.
"(Reader)!!!!", Paimon exclaimed, twirling around you like an excited cat seeing its owner after a long time of absence. Though, instead of nearly tripping over her, you found yourself feeling quite a bit dizzy with her rapid spins round you. Thankfully, the Traveller noticed and swiftly grabbed Paimon by the collar of her clothing. "GAAHHH!", she yelped, her playful demeanor momentarily interrupted. "Could you stop spinning around (Reader) for a moment? They're getting quite a bit dizzy with your twirls." the Traveller gently scolded her, a hint of amusement in their voice.
“Hehe, it’s okay! But, Paimon, could you keep your spinning to a minimum? I won’t be able to greet you properly if I suddenly pass out from all the dizziness,” you teased, a playful smile on your face. Paimon’s expression shifted to one of shock. “NOOO! (Reader)! You still need to make me delicious foodddd!” she exclaimed, kicking her feet in the air as if throwing a tantrum. “Come on, Paimon. (Reader)’s just joking with you,” the Traveller said with a sigh, rolling their eyes at Paimon’s dramatic antics.
“Now, let’s settle down, shall we? I have a new item on the menu today. Would you like to give it a try? Here it is; you can read the description and decide if you want to sample it,” you said, handing them two menus. Paimon scrutinized the menu intently before shouting, “The same as usual, (Reader)! And also, one order of the new item!”
The Traveller smiled and added, “I’ll have one Cheesy Tortellini and Sausage Bake, one Creamy Chicken and Rice Soup, and one Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai.”
“Oh my! That’s quite a feast! Rough day?” you asked, taking notes of their orders. “I’ll make sure to throw in some extras for you.”
"*Sigh*, yes. It was a really rough day. *mumble**mumble*." You couldn't quite pick up what they said after but it seems that they truly had a real hard time judging by their deep sigh and slumped shoulders.
You went straight to the kitchen to whip up their orders while you kept a close eye on the suprise that you still kept hidden.
After a flurry of activity in the kitchen, you finally finished preparing their orders. With a warm smile, you approached the table, balancing the plates with practiced ease. "Alright, you two, no more frowning," you chided playfully, setting the dishes down one by one. "Dig in! You must be starving by now."
As you arranged the plates, you added with a wink, "Oh, and I threw in some Strawberry Creampuffs—compliments of the house. Consider it a little treat for my favorite duo."
Paimon's eyes widened to the size of saucers, her tiny hands already reaching for the pastries before you could even finish speaking. "Wait, for free?! (Reader), you're the best!" she squealed, clutching a creampuff like it was a treasure. She took a bite, and her face lit up with pure delight. "Mmm! These are heavenly! Paimon could eat a hundred of these!" She floated in the air, twirling with joy, her excitement infectious.
The Traveler chuckled softly, shaking their head at Paimon's antics. "Thank you, (Reader). You really didn’t have to, but we appreciate it." They picked up a creampuff, their expression softening as they took a bite. "These are amazing. You’ve outdone yourself again."
You leaned against the table, watching them enjoy the food with a satisfied grin. Seeing their smiles was always worth the effort.
"Alright, alright, take your time eating," you said with a soft chuckle, stepping back from the table. "I'll be in the kitchen if you need anything." With a warm smile, you turned and made your way to the back, your mind already buzzing with excitement.
You had a surprise for them—a special thank-you gift. Since the door doesn't appear on the weekends, you’d spent the last few days preparing an extravagant feast. It was your way of showing gratitude for their constant companionship and the joy they brought into your life. The portions were enormous, enough to last them for days—or, knowing Paimon, maybe just one. You smirked to yourself, wondering how they’d even carry it all. But then again, the Traveler’s magical inventory space was a blessing in disguise, so you’d gone all out without a second thought.
Your café had been thriving lately, with a steady stream of wealthy customers placing large commission orders. The influx of money was more than welcome, though the workload was starting to wear on you. Juggling the demands of your high-profile clients and the everyday crowd was exhausting. Maybe it was time to hire some help. The idea struck you like a bolt of inspiration, and you quickly pulled out your phone to jot it down in your notes. Hire workers. Soon. 3 workers perhaps.
But for now, your focus was on the present—literally. You glanced at the array of pastries you’d set aside earlier. Paimon’s delighted squeals from the dining area echoed in your mind, and you couldn’t help but smile. Why not add a little more? You had plenty of leftovers from today, and serving them tomorrow didn’t sit right with you. Giving them to the Traveler and Paimon was a far better option than tossing them out. Besides, their magical inventory would keep everything fresh indefinitely.
With that decided, you grabbed a large container and began filling it with an assortment of treats. A half Greek Yogurt Tangerine Cake, eclairs, chou à la crème, flan, lemon tarts, and egg tarts—each one carefully placed inside. The container was soon overflowing with a colorful variety of pastries, each one a testament to your hard work and creativity. You left a little bit to yourself to eat at home later as a good job treat.
You stepped back, admiring your handiwork. This was more than just food; it was a token of your friendship, a way to say thank you in the sweetest way possible.
Stepping back into the dining area, you found the duo slumped in their seats, looking thoroughly satisfied—and perhaps a little too full. Their slightly bloated appearances were hard to miss, and you couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
“Oh deary me, you two look like you’ve been through a feast fit for a king!” you teased, walking over to clear the plates. As you picked them up, you noticed, not for the first time, that not a single crumb remained. It was impressive, though not as shocking as the first time you’d witnessed their bottomless appetites. Back then, you’d been utterly floored. Now, it was just another reminder of how much they adored your cooking.
The Traveler’s cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but they quickly recovered, flashing you a sheepish grin. “Well, what can we say? Your cooking is to die for, (Reader).” Their tone was smooth, almost suave, and you couldn’t help but chuckle at their attempt to save face.
“Thank you, Traveler,” you replied warmly, stacking the plates neatly. “Coming from you, that means a lot.”
Just then, the Traveler reached into their pocket and pulled out a small pouch, placing it on the table with a soft clink. “Oh, right! Here’s our payment. As always, it’s worth every mora.”
You picked up the pouch, feeling the satisfying weight of the mora inside. “Thank you, dear customer,” you said with a playful bow, tucking the pouch into your apron pocket. “Your patronage is always appreciated.”
“Oh, right! Stay there for a moment—don’t come into the kitchen,” you said, holding up a hand to stop them as you hurried back to the kitchen with the stack of plates. Paimon and the Traveler exchanged curious glances, their usual routine of following you to the front bar momentarily interrupted. Reluctantly, they took their usual seats, waiting patiently but with growing curiosity.
From the kitchen, they heard a faint grunt, followed by the sound of something heavy being shifted. Paimon’s ears perked up, and the Traveler leaned forward, concern flickering across their face. “(Reader), are you okay? Do you need help?” they called out, halfway out of their seats.
“No need, no need!” you replied, your voice slightly strained but cheerful. “This thing’s just a bit heavier than I expected, but I’ve got it under control!” Moments later, you emerged from the kitchen, carefully balancing two large, cloth-covered containers in your arms. You set them down gently on the counter in front of them, your face flushed but triumphant. “Wait, there’s still more. Don’t touch them yet!” you warned, holding up a finger before darting back into the kitchen.
When you returned, you were carrying yet another cloth-covered container—this one filled with the assortment of pastries you’d prepared earlier. Paimon’s eyes widened, and the Traveler tilted their head, their curiosity now fully piqued.
“(Reader), what are these? They smell amazing—and they look huge!” the Traveler asked, their voice tinged with awe.
With a dramatic flourish and a smug grin, you pulled the cloths away, revealing the contents. “Ta-da! This is my surprise gift for you! Are you shocked?” you announced, clearly pleased with yourself.
Paimon gasped, floating closer to inspect the containers. “Wait, these three ginormous things are for us? Paimon loves them already! But, uh… what exactly are they?” She scratched her head, her tiny face scrunched up in confusion.
You chuckled, crossing your arms as you leaned against the counter. “Well, since we can’t meet on weekends, I thought I’d send you off with enough food to last you a while. Consider it a thank-you for always keeping me company. There’s a bit of everything in there—main dishes, snacks, and, of course, plenty of pastries for someone with a particular sweet tooth.” You shot Paimon a knowing look, and she beamed, already reaching for one of the containers.
The Traveler’s eyes softened, a grateful smile spreading across their face. “(Reader), you really didn’t have to go through all this trouble… but thank you. This means a lot to us.”
“Nuh-uh!” you said sharply, your eyes narrowing as you caught the Traveler’s hand reaching for the pouch of mora at their waist. “It’s on the house! The payment you’ve already given is more than enough to cover all of this,” you insisted, waving your hands emphatically.
And it was the truth. Thanks to the connections you’d built with your high-profile regulars, you’d found a discreet way to convert mora into gold bars, bypassing the government’s watchful eyes (fanfiction logic, of course). Those gold bars had opened doors to even more lucrative opportunities, leaving you with more than enough wealth to afford this generous gesture.
“But—” the Traveler started, their brow furrowed in protest.
“No buts!” you interrupted, placing a hand over their mouth to silence them. “That’s final,” you said firmly, though your eyes sparkled with warmth. “Besides, this is my way of saying thank you—for your companionship, for listening to me rant about rude customers, and for always brightening my day. You two mean a lot to me, and this is the least I can do.”
Paimon, who had been floating nearby with a pastry already in hand, grinned from ear to ear. “See, Traveler? (Reader) says it’s fine, so stop being so stubborn! Paimon’s not complaining about free food!”
The Traveler sighed, their resistance melting away as they shook their head with a soft chuckle. “Alright, alright. We’ll accept your gift—but only because you’re being so insistent.”
You laughed, stepping back and crossing your arms with a satisfied smile. “Good! Now, make sure to enjoy every bite. And don’t even think about trying to sneak mora into my apron later—I’ll know!”
The Traveler simply smiled at you, a look of helpless gratitude in their eyes, and nodded in understanding. They knew better than to argue with you when you were this determined.
The café was soon filled with the sound of laughter and lively conversation as the three of you shared one last chat before it was time for them to leave. The warmth of the moment made the impending goodbye a little easier to bear.
Finally, Paimon floated toward the door, her tiny hands waving excitedly. “Goodbye, (Reader)! We’ll see you again in two days! Make sure to take care of yourself, okay?” she chirped, her voice brimming with genuine affection.
Beside her, the Traveler stood, balancing the three large cloth-covered containers with ease. They gave you a nod, their expression soft but resolute. “We’ll be back soon. Don’t overwork yourself,” they added, their tone gentle but firm.
You smiled, feeling a bittersweet tug in your chest. “Same to you two. Safe travels, and don’t let Paimon eat everything in one sitting!” you teased, earning a playful pout from the floating fairy.
Paimon reached for the door and swung it open, revealing the sprawling landscape of Guili Plains. In the distance, the towering silhouette of Wangshu Inn stood against the horizon, bathed in the golden light of the setting sun.
You waved as they stepped through the doorway, their figures framed by the breathtaking view of their world. “See you soon!” you called out, your voice carrying a mix of fondness and anticipation.
The door closed softly behind them, leaving the café quiet once more. You stood there for a moment, the warmth of their presence lingering in the air, before turning back to the kitchen with a smile. Two days would pass quickly, and you already couldn’t wait to see them again.

Call it Academic Curiosity
Realizing I should probably post the link here for self-reference...

Your relationship with Ruan Mei as her assistant has... not been going well. In a poorly-timed coincidence, Ruan Mei receives an invitation to Penacony's Charmony Festival, and brings you along. Unfortunately, being a Vidyadhara with a past you aren't looking to revisit and being in Penacony's delirious Dreamscape does not blend well. For Ruan Mei, it makes you all the more interesting of a research specimen. For Acheron, it makes you a face she thinks she knows. Now, your estranged boss and a Galaxy Ranger you swear you've never seen before is one set of obstacles in your pursuit of purely academic matters. Not to mention, the Oak Family's influence only adds to your stress. You should've just gone back to the Alchemy Commission.

“Do NOT let her cook…”
The Herta x reader thing thing based out of her animated short where cooks
GN!Reader as usual and established relationship
And that you can cook
Wowie
I’ll probably make a masterlist soon with the amount of stuff I’ve written in this blog
Anyhoot enjoyyyyyyyy
…
….
…
Tap tap tap
You feel it on your nose
Hmm…
Way too small for a finger…
Tap tap tap
“Merta?”
Tap tap tap
“What is it now…”
Your eyes slowly open…
To see nothing but your bedroom ceiling
Tap tap
It’s on your chest now
You look down to see a miniature figure of Herta
A… Merta if you will
…
You just like giving them nicknames okay-
Tap
“Alright, alright…! I’m up…”
You grab the miniature by the hat before sitting up, finally getting some semblance of being awake
Hmm…
It’s way too quiet for a weekda
BOOM!!
“There it is…”
That smell of smoke…
While you very much wanted to sleep until Noon…
Possibly even midnight…
There is no way you’re letting Herta cook for breakfast
Except for those times where you’re ill
She somehow gets it together when you’re in such a dire state…
With a heavy sigh you hop out of your bed, gently dropping off the miniature you’ve been holding onto in the middle of the bed
“Cheers very much…”
It stood still for a little while before proceeding with their task at hand
…
..
…
“We had an unbreakable streak… of 14 hours.”
Most of the appliances are burnt to a crisp
A familiar sight for you, her, and the Dolls
“I was this close, alright? Just one more chance! Please?”
Herta clasps her hands together, almost pleading
“The second time I gave you a chance you had to pull me out of the cookbook…”
“It was the seventh step! I forgot to read the fine print on that part…”
“And you’re supposed to be an Emanator?”
“Now you’re just getting out of topic!”
She looks away with her arms crossed, all pouty face
“Just what do you want for breakfast…?”
You head by one of the counters while a line of dolls hold up various ingredients behind you
“…scrambled.”
Crack!
“That all?”
You whisk away, already focused on your work
“…I-
Grumble…
“Pancakes it is.”
She slumps beside you, defeated and flustered
The next few minutes passed by in silence, eventually disturbed for a bit from turning on the stove
“Here.”
“Hm…?”
She turns to look at a whisk
There’s a bit of batter at the end
“Taste test.”
“Again?”
“Just need confirmation…”
“You have all the confirmation you need! Even if it was half-burnt I’d still eat it!”
“Still!”
“Ugh! Fine…”
She snatches the whisk from your hand, getting a taste on what’s to come
“…so?”
“Tasty… make some for lunch.”
“Is that a suggestion?”
“A demand.”
She heads off to the carpet, still holding the whisk.
“No kisses?”
“Never.”
And she flies away…
Sigh…
Click!
Seeing as the scrambled eggs have been cooking for a few minutes you turn down the heat and grab the handle of the pan, gently tilting it towards a plate nearby
A miniature doll shortly comes over with a spoon, scooping all of it down the plate
“Aw, thank you!”
The doll stood still, too stunned to speak
By the time it had a response you were already heading towards the sink with dirty kitchenware left uncleaned
They wanted to say their thanks for the compliment…
Sigh… no matter, Madam Herta can say it for her instead
You busied yourself washing both the sink which was covered in soot and plates littered with…
Whatever amalgamation your dear beloved has made…
Click!
You turn to the stove, seeing that one of the Dolls has turned it off
They lift the pan with ease, bringing it over an empty plate before flipping the pan upside down
Flop
A fluffy and tasty pancake, ready to be served
It soon headed your way, putting the pan in the sink
But… before it could head off to their duties…
You ruffled their hair
“Thanks.”
“…mm.”
You soon retract your hand, letting them scurry off to who knows where
With everything done and dusted you grab a tray
The other dolls around the kitchen hastily paved a way for you, seeing as there’s no way you can head back without bumping into one of them and… possibly tripping…
With the tray in your hands you finally walked back to the Carpet with no issues
…but not before giving everyone a rather courteous bow
“Thank you as always.”
They too returned the gesture as well
…
..
…
The doors creak
The Herta pries her eyes away from the book she’s reading, taking in the sight of you instead
“…what?”
“Didn’t I tell you to knock?”
“Hmm… no. My hands are full anyways.”
You set the tray by the coffee table, sitting beside her afterwards
“Besides, wouldn’t that discern me and practically every doll you have…?”
“The dolls have a fixed sequence unlike you.”
She eloquently takes off her hat and rests her head on your lap
“*sigh* Attentive as always…”
“Very. Also…”
“Hm…?”
“The dolls send their thanks.”
A little smile creeps onto your face after hearing that
“Mm… wish I could’ve patted them all back there…”
“Ah, ah, ah! You have the real deal!”
She points at herself
“Right here!”
“And that’s supposed to stop me…?”
“Mhm! Who wouldn’t want to pat my- no, The Herta’s head?”
You ponder for a moment
“You can probably count them with your fingers…”
“And what lead you to that conclusion?”
“Well… it’s either they’re willing… or forced to pat your head…”
“Hm… solid answer.”
She sits up and grabs the fork beside the plate, cutting off a portion of the pancake before taking a bite
“Not even gonna find holes in that?”
“M-Mh!”
“…I’ll just take that as a no.”
You rub your eyes, feeling the drowsiness seep in as you lean towards the armrest
…but a tug on your arm lulls you onto Herta’s lap instead
“I told you that you have me, didn’t I?”
“Mhm… just thought I’d… give you some space…? You’re always focused when eating…”
“…how would I give my compliments to the chef then?”
“Fair point…”
She lets out a sigh
“Dum dum.”
You weakly raise and wave your finger in response
“Your dum dum…”
“Very. Now go to sleep.”
“But… the compliments-
You’re interrupted by Herta, who gives you a peck on the lips
“There. Happy?”
A dumb smile forms on your face
“You already know my answer…”
“Of course I do.”
She cups your cheek before covering you with a blanket
“Sweet dreams.”
Your eyes… feel heavy
“…Love you too, Herta.”
…
….
…
THERE IM DONE THIS DID NOT NEED TO TAKE THAT LONG AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

𝐇𝐒𝐑 𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍'𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐃𝐎𝐍'𝐓 𝐏𝐔𝐋𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌 featuring: silver wolf, lingsha, the herta, kafka, sparkle tags: fluff
silverwolf
"you're kidding me," you hear silverwolf's annoyed voice through your headphones.
silverwolf watches through your camera as you put both your hands together and lower your head in apology. before you can say your sorry excuses, the hacker sighs loudly and beats your incoming punch with her own. "it's the meta isn't it?"
"i mean, it'd make sense to pull for newer characters since you can't even clear endgame," she teases, taking a jab at your gaming skills every chance she gets like she usually does. her voice sounded light and casual but the twinge of dejection didn't escape your trained ears. you couldn't think of anything else to say since she saw right through your reasons.
"i won't say i don't understand. i'm a gamer too, y'know." silverwolf shrugs as she pops her bubblegum with a loud smack. she takes out her phone and gave it a few taps.
"but that doesn't mean i'm gonna accept your decision." and with that, your screen suddenly turns black. you try to restart your computer and reboot the game but the black screen keeps staring right back at you.
after a few weeks of multiple failed attempts, rendering you unable to pull for the character you wanted. hours right before the banner ends, your computer finally comes back to life. however, you log in to the game only to find out all your reserves of stellar jades and special passes were emptied.
you hear a bubblegum smack as you look at your screen in despair.
lingsha
"i wonder what made you go back on your promise," lingsha is as sweet as ever even as you break the news to her. she smiles at you over your screen albeit her eyes were dimmer and you see a raging vein popping in the side of her smooth forehead, a clear sign she's quite irritated.
"you were doing so good saving up for me, dear. you even told me you were going to get all of my eidolons," her smile twitches as the words leave her mouth and her hands that were petting tuskpir freeze for a moment before caressing again.
"did other women caught your eye, perhaps?" she asks with a raised eyebrow, staring right at you and boring a hole through your soul despite being in a completely dimension as you. "no, of course not," you deny as soon as her words materialized in the air.
"then, what prompted the change of plans?" she asks again, more firmly this time. tuskpir notices the change in her demeanor and quickly scurried off, leaving you alone to deal with a quietly seething cauldron master.
"have you lost interest in me then? maybe in starting to lose my touch." linsgha is confident she has you wrapped around her finger but she still couldn't help but question, it has more to do with her desire to see you squirm uncomfortably rather than being conscious of her charms.
"you know as well as i do that i haven't," your answer sounded more like a plea. it gave lingsha satisfaction but, unfortunately, her mind games are not over yet. at least not until she gets what she wants.
"so, what is the reason then, darling," the question leaves her mouth for the third time but her small smile never left her face once although it was slowly becoming smaller and smaller. you stay silent, racking your brain for reasons to ease her tranquil wrath. she takes your pause as cue to give you her final blow of the long interrogation.
"if you don't have one, then let's do as you promise. warp for me." there wasn't room for questions unlike her previous remarks. her hand outstretches to you as if inviting. you nod without a second thought.
the herta
"why?"
herta is confused. not pull for her? that is something even lifeforms with the lowest intelligence would not dare do. unfathomable. doing the unthinkable might have been what initially made herta take interest in you but now she thinks you're losing a few braincells.
"who could possibly be better than me?" it would take a whole lot to damage the herta's enormous and pristine ego but she thinks your decision poked it a little. "there's no correct answer by the way. no one is better than me," she answers her own question.
"perhaps you've grown complacent because you have my puppets with you." she comes closer to your screen. "but do you not want the real thing?" she asks as her voice tickles your ears trough the speakers. but before she can get anymore closer she stops halfway through, rekindling your desire to pull her closer.
"well, feel free to do as you like. i could care less about what you do anyways," she flips her silky hair and struts away from you.
well, that went easier than you thought. you were sure herta would give you hell for even thinking about not pulling for her. so you go on your merry way to go back to farming.
"not even one stellar jade?!?! after three hours of farming!"
you spent your remaining fuels and trailblazer power but it seems the system is bent on cursing you. the monsters were harder to beat and the rare instance that you do the drops were extremely scarce.
in the end, you weren't able to pull for the character you wanted due to insufficient resources.
kafka
"there's no need to choose, love." kafka says calmly as she looks down at you from her seat. the camera is always angled upwards every time she's on screen, effectively you making you crane your neck to glance at her like is the sky.
"name the price and you shall have it," she declares without any hesitation. her smooth cheek rests on her palm as if sponsoring your pulls are as trivial as the sky being blue.
"i-no, it's wrong. i don't want you to use your money on me," no matter how enticing the offer was, your morals held you back from accepting. you're not her sugar baby, you remind yourself.
"and i don't want you wanting anyone else other me," she replies without missing a beat and your heart thumps louder with how fast she responded without an ounce of doubt in her smooth voice.
"so don't be shy and take it. i want you to have me."
sparkle
"YES! FIRST TEN PULLS AND SHE FINALLY CAME HOME!"
you stand from your chair in shock as the character you've been warping for appear on screen. your fingers hurriedly go to the character menu to greet the new addition to your roster.
"hello~, little one," the character greets you. odd, you don't think the character would call you 'little one'. you only know one person that would call you such nickname. the feeling of familiarity creeps up from your spine and settles at the back of your tongue as you come up with a plausible deduction.
"sparkle," you sigh. you should've known sparkle wouldn't just sit around and watch you warp for somebody else.
"oh no! my cover's been blown," despite the words, the character giggles as she puts her hand in front of her lips. slowly the character's appearance morph into the mischievous girl you know.
"whats with the disappointed look? you're hurting my feelings, cutie," sparkle fakes a pout as her hand press against her chest before her signature smirk takes home in her lips again.
"you should've seen your face when you were celebrating!" she clasps her hands in front and her eyes cloud and get dreamy as she reminisces your reaction.
"you must be even happier since you got a better one, me" she blows a kiss to your camera.

when taking photos of your hard earned characters, whether it is right after winning them or you just found a pretty spot. you tend to take a long time taking it because you want it to capture how pretty they are.
this gives you the opportunity to look at them for longer too. which allowed you to notice some strange things…
navia tightens her hold on her umbrella when doing that idle. her shoulders are noticeably stiff. her smile nervous yet eager. which is strange since you think you remember this idle made her look relaxed.
her idle also feels longer than it is supposed to. it’s almost as if she is willingly posing for you…
you brush it off. since it makes it easier to take the photo, who are you to complain?
but a part of you does notice how her cheeks are rosier than you remember them being. as you gush about how pretty she looks.

HSR Character Drabbles (Ft. The Stellaron Hunters & The IPC)
Had to change the title since like the realizing part is kind of restricting my headcanoning ahh and I want to just-
Your honor just kill me I just wanna write 🫠
GN!Reader as per usual
And if there was a Title to describe this whole bananza then it’s: What do they do when they’re in love with You?
But it feels… you know what? Just enjoy this mess.
Also! Established Relationships for Topaz and Aventurine. I would’ve gone insane by the time I had something for them that isn’t in the relationship phase…
—————
———
—————
Kafka
She’s “somewhat” clingy
Been like this ever since she’s laid her eyes on you
You just bring a… certain charm that makes her enamored
And this feeling soon devolved into something more…
I wouldn’t say worse but…
It reaches to the point where she cherishes every moment with you
Be it longer hugs
Her hands intertwined with yours at any chance she gets
Or a few more minutes just so she can lay in bed you a little bit longer (the whole one room one bed is orchestrated by her, of course)
You’re just…
Mm…
She just wants to be with you
Every second
Smile for her, will you? Just once? It’ll get her going
Silver Wolf
Holed up in her room
Otome games stacked beside her
Reading text at near light speeds as if it isn’t even difficult
And once she meets her own reflection from the end credits…
She concludes that it isn’t enough
…she wants everything to go right
Not to make an embarrassment of herself
It has her spiraling downwards and staying up for days until you’re told by Kafka to check in on her
Her eyes flutter open
Words of concern spill out of your mouth
She’s not even listening to you
Just…
Wondering if these hands on her shoulders are real or not
Thankfully she does get ahold of her senses and willingly heads to bed
Not before having more… thoughts
Damn can she be just normal for once-
Tip for Boss: Give her a hug
Blade
Sort of good news…?
He’s in love
Bad news?
He’s in love
He goes to such lengths in distancing himself from you, often taking missions that’ll definitely take a month or two to finish…
It’s only when Elio and Kafka step in with these countless missions that he begrudgingly takes in your presence again
Though… some part of him appreciates your company
Even if one day you…
Well…
Let’s just ignore that for a second
All that matters now…
Is that you’re here
Side note: Ruffle his hair at least once or twice a week.
Pretty please.
Firefly
She’ll be fine she says!
Cues to her trying to get a grip of everything the moment you wave at her
Firefly is… a mess to put it at words
Girlfailure if you will
From spacing out just by calling her name or her brain needing a reboot when you hold her hand
Heck, even Kafka and Silverwolf are teasing her about this!
But… she isn’t afraid to improve
Because one day
She’ll have the courage to…
To ask if you’re fine with eating cake rolls with her…
…
Doesn’t that just sound like a date-
Fun fact: She will stay still as a rock if you lay your head on her shoulder. Use this for whatever you want
Aventurine
Countless paper bags scattered across thr living room
You don’t deny these gifts of course it’s just…
You know
You’re not used to this
This amount of…
Appreciation
So, who would’ve thought that one day…
He decides to visit you!
Without warning!
…How did he even know your addre-
Right, your wallet…
That aside he’s just…
Standing there
Processing what’s in front of him right now
“…do you want more?”
“Wh-what?”
“Do you want a mansion instead?”
“Navi, can you get ahold of yourself please-
Call him nicknames. Makes him a tomato.
Topaz
Lap Pillows
And also Numby laying on your tummy
This has been an occasional thing whenever the weekend comes by
There’s also a switch in roles! And it happens quite often during weekdays when she comes home from work
Which lets you pepper her with kisses, leaving her a blushing mess afterwards
She’ll also fake getting sick just so she can be enveloped by your lovey dovey hugs just a bit longer
Though that always ends in her grumpily heading back to work…
“I miss my S/O, Numby…” She says as she closes the front door
Tip: If you kiss her then keep kissing her then make out and head to fourth base did you know she’ll be really needy an
Dr Ratio
After countless research and conducting…
Does he finally come up with a solution
…
A change in attitude
His rather… harsh demeanor would only lead to distancing yourself from him
Which explains itself very well in not having a chance at expressing his feelings for you
…but he’ll do what he can
Big or small
So long as you see him…
The way he sees you
Then writing this Thesis about Love isn’t so bad after all
I.E. Dr. Ratio turns soft for your sake and everyone else’s
…
“What’s this?”
“Tea. I thought you might need it for the gargantuous amount of paperwork.”
“Thanks… are you sure you aren’t possessed?”
“Why the assumption…?”
“You’re smiling.”
…
….
…
Yell at me if I did something bad for anyone in thi sob drabble :(
And that if this gets more than eleven likes I will have to acknowledge the fact that people like this
#hsr x reader#topaz x reader#dr ratio x reader#aventurine x reader#firefly x reader#silver wolf x reader#kafka x reader#blade x reader#j don’t deserve this many tags

Realizing they’re in love with you! HSR Edition Pt 2 (Ft. The Astral Express!)

I was obligated to do this thanks to the amount of support from you all 🤧
That’s all let’s get into this-
And yes I’ll get into the other games I just want to drown myself with this one first-
GN!Reader as usual. You know the drill
Also some implied stuff and ooc not that it matters-
—————
———
—————
Himeko
She’s no stranger to love
She knows this feeling brewing up inside when she sees or hears about you
It’s just…
She’s hesitant? For a lack of better words?
She wants to make sure that the two of you are at equal ground before she decides to spill it out…
In the way that the both of you are comfortable enough so that you can lay your head on her shoulder
Casually hanging out
Talking to each other about things
Secrets
Promises
All of that!
But that would construct a more… friendly dynamic between the two of you…
Can she just throw it at you? Hoping you’ll catch it?
Or maybe Welt and the others can steer you into the right direction…?
So that these simple actions can say more than one thing?
…you know what? Let’s just brew coffee.
The marriage can wait…
“To hug them… to smother them with kisses… that’s all I’ll ever need in life… coffee as well…”
March
The new Member of the Astral Express has been making her feel… weird
Why is she so shy around you?! She isn’t like this when she’s with anyone else!
Oh Aeons she’s shaking your hands!
She’s shaking your hand!
Why does it feel so weird!
And comfy…
You proceeded to meet the rest of the crew, leaving a flustered March 7th
Surely… surely Miss Himeko knows a thing or two about this, right?
Or maybe Dan Heng!
———
As expected, Himeko is still awake…
Seriously, how does she do it? Still able to work a full day and then there’s her!
Taking all of her willpower just to wake up after sleeping for an hour or two!
Well… there is the coffee she makes…
…
Do you even call that coffee by that point, though?
Focus, March! This could be your only chance!
Ahem
“M-miss Himeko?”
“Yes?”
She sets the book down, her head slightly tilted while she faces March
“I um… have a question…”
“Do tell… it’s a rare case for you to be awake at this time of the day…”
She gulps
“What’s this… feeling I get when I’m with [Name]?”
“Hmm… what do you mean?”
March takes a deep breath
“I… I got a weird feeling on my chest whenever I look at them and- and… when they shook my hand I… stood like a statue…”
Himeko slowly smiles
“It’s… love, dear.”
“Love? But don’t you and Mister Welt say that as well?”
March tilts her head
“See… that’s where we love you all as a family…! But there’s different kinds of love in life. Like the one you’re experiencing!”
“Well what is it?”
Himeko takes a moment to prepare herself
“It’s… when you love someone for who and what they are. Seeing the beauty despite their flaws. Giving them the affirmation that they deserve. Handing them the power to break your heart but hope that they don’t. That… is what I would say when you fall for someone.”
Himeko grabs the coaster and takes a sip of her coffee.
That is in a teacup.
…
“So… how should I do it then? To tell them that… I love them?”
She reaches out to March’s hair before ruffling it.
“Just get some beauty rest, March. We have a busy day tomorrow…”
March groans
“Oh fine… but you better give me advice okay? I… I don’t want to fail!”
“I can try… you hopeless romantic…”
March didn’t get to hear the last part as she heads to her room, plopping to the bed head first.
“You can do this March! You will get to know them! And love them!”
Caelus & Stelle
One knows what it is. And the other doesn’t and has a bulletin board with notes and pictures surprisingly in chronological order which leads up to the point where you made her feel that way!
Yes… Caelus knows what love is… he was unfortunately subjected to March’s horrors…
But hey! At least he isn’t scrambling out of his mind figuring it out!
Only thing he needs to do is-
Ah…
Confess
…
Now that’s not an easy task…
Wait… there’s also competition if they keep up!
His sister!
“Aha! I got it! It’s-
Bonk!
“Sorry Stelle…
She falls face first on the bed
“They’re mine.”
It was an inflatable bat don’t worry…
In another timeline…
Holding hands with you… makes her turn to a robot
When you’re bridal carrying her to bed… it turns her into a tomato
And when the both of you are alone…
She can hear her own heart beat
Ever since that day Stelle has poured blood sweat and tears into solving these feelings you bring out, even going as far as searching in every trash can amidst the cosmos!
And even visiting the Stellaron Hunters as well!
She’s certain Kafka has answers to this…
Though this search would abruptly come to a halt when her curiosity got the best of her.
Caelus’ notebook. Sprawled around his bed.
Thinking it’d be alright adding a couple of doodles she opens a random page.
Only to reveal the detailed descriptions of how he wants to be ruined by your hands.
The sounds coming out of his throat as yo-
Okay that’s enough.
Closing that thing.
Throwing it away.
She’s… she’s seen everything.
But…
Hmm…
How would it feel?
Dan Heng
There’s hesitation on his lips when you’re around
Struggling to find the words to spill out
Blanky staring at the new databank page
Stumped on what to write
Laying on the bed
Wide awake
No thoughts in his mind other than…
You
He doesn’t really recall when he started acting like this
Nor is he refusing to let it consume him
…It just feels weird
And perplexing
It gives him the need to solve this
To decipher these feelings
The reasons on why you bring out this side of him
…but maybe he should let is pass
See where it would go
And once the stars align…
Would he see it all so clear
“You’ve given me quite a thing to keep myself busy… I wonder if I’ll even get to finish it…”
—————
———
—————
It took me half a week on Dan Heng’s part I hope it’s enough 😭
Also I’m sure anyone would at least understand/know why Welt isn’t here (he radiates old man energy i cant-)
And that I kind of derailed a lot on march but lmk if it was alright 🤧
It’s either stellaron hunters next or the xianzho
See you all and have a jolly Christmas 🎄
I WAS SUPPOSED TO SAVE FOR FIREFLY OKAY BUT I WANTED ACHERON TO HAVE MORE DAMAGE RAGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH
Was so proud of my stash too 😔

had a dream last night where I took a uquiz called “what do you serve?” and at first the questions were standard but as the quiz progressed they became more and more highly specific to me personally and the answers became more and more similar and I realised the quiz Knew me and was forcing me into being honest by giving me no other option so I tried to click out but it just went to the next question which was “are you the spider? or are you the web?” and it had an option for each but I didn’t click either so it then turned to a text box and I typed “I think I’m the fly” and the quiz paused for a while and then took me to a results page that said “you serve truth” and the description just read “what you know will kill you but you will die laughing” so like. good morning everyone I guess :/
