Headcanon: It's nearly impossible for Sunny to try and protect someone. I don't mean he's weak, far from it.

Everyone else just protects HIM at any point they get.

You know the people who do this especially?

Basil.

Aubrey is much worse.

Imagine one of them getting hurt, right? Sunny up and protects them from said person who got them hurt.

RIGHT AFTER, SUNNY'LL GET SCOLDED FOR SCARING THEM AND BEING RECKLESS, DESPITE THE PERSON WHO GOT HURT BEING RECKLESS AND SCARING SUNNY THEMSELVES.

Sunny really is just the baby of the group, and it gets worse depending on who he's protecting.
