I think it’s becoming painfully obvious that Harry does not like his new haircut and is feeling pretty self-conscious about it. I’m sure he will make his peace with shorter hair in time and start growing it out again as soon as possible. Even at 16 his hair wasn’t this short and those curly locks are part of his identity - a part that he embraces. It’s one thing to be playing a role in Dunkirk and another to be out in public, not feeling quite like himself. He really is hiding under those hats - I don’t think he’s trying to play with us at this point. I hope and pray that his privacy and dignity will be guarded - we owe him that much.
