Hi!!!!!!!! Can you explain Uranus in the 8th ?

Hello!

And yes I can I actually have this placement and let me just say this is such a complex position for Uranus to be in. From my experience this position not only adds a innate ingenious to an individual but it also grants a natural open mindedness to all sorts of situations. There is such a pronounced ability to mold yourself into what ever any circumstance calls for be it tragic or minor.

There is also a huge interest in things of the occult/the paranormal/UFO/conspiracy/ and revolution like theories. There’s also a huge receptive ability granted here that allows one to be able to see things coming in a way or have weird moments of deja vu. This is a very perceptive place for Uranus as well making one capable of having a impeccable gut instinct when it comes to sensing both the motives and desires of others. In my experience I’ve always been able to read people and I would always doubt it at times not really knowing if I was projecting emotions on to people that weren’t their when I was younger but as I grew up I began to start realizing that my instincts weren’t make believe.

Money comes and goes with this position as well! Some days I have cash, sometimes I’ll have it for weeks and then other days I’m broke for months or I have cash for months it constantly fluctuates. And money isn’t that high on my checklist because of this-mainly due to the fact that in the back of my mind I know how fast money comes and goes and that even though it’s gone In that moment it’ll be back in the next. Another thing to note here is very spontaneous things will occur around you be it sudden deaths of those around you, friendships ending abruptly and sometimes as soon as they began, and relationships tend to have a constant hot and cold quality here that has a very continuous cycle of on and off periods.

Since this is also the house ruling over intimacy and ones most inner fears and personality this house in my experience not only has a huge sense of detachment but there’s a huge level of aloofness to your own feelings as well. I usually tend to have “two me’s” with one being my emotional self and the other me being the me outside looking in. Dare I say multiple psyche or personalities is a way I cope with traumatic experiences either by isolating them or toning down their level of emotional impact to me. This is good and bad seeing as I’m extremely aware of myself doing this as I’d say Uranus grants a lot of awareness of ones on “mind” and because of this I’m able to keep up with these personalities and I have an easier time coping with situations because of this bizarre way of dealing with loss and pain. This is a trademark of Uranus here. You can have unusual or creative way of handling problems in your life as well as creative ways of transforming through the pain in your life.

That being said there’s a insane level of detachment that comes along with this that I’ve noticed. It can be hard to reach me emotionally unless I allow myself to feel the moment. There can be a huge reluctance to let anyone in beyond barrier level out of a fear of intimacy and intensity. Which is so odd because we are usually very intense people ourselves; but due to the nature of Uranus as deep as we may be we fear that same level of depth in others there by preferring to watch and observe the emotions and depths of others without ever alluding to ours.

Now sexually and relationship wise I’d describe this as electricity. My libido comes in spurts and jolts and is triggered by the oddest things aha. Despite having my Pluto in the 5th there’s still a detached and cerebral part of my sexuality and my relationships are unconventional to say the least. They end abruptly and or are super back and forth type of business.

The big lesson here unlike most 8th house planets is to practice balancing intimacy and distance. Uranus in the 8th is such a complex and beautiful position completely unique to the person who has it and that’s what makes it so fascinating. But I hope this helps you understand some of the ways the position itself plays out.

NEPTUNE IN THE 8th HOUSE; Observations
