Nova was probably just as indecisive as the girl was. She had no idea about the rest of her family, nor this girl's name, so she gazed up at the menu too. "Well I'm not really sure... I've got quite the sweet tooth so I usually get a white hot chocolate. But the caramel espresso seems quite popular!"

Allison looked up and wrinkled her nose before shrugging. “Honestly? I’ve been in here a few times the past few weeks and I still have no idea what I want to make my regular drink.” A let out a small laugh and looked up at the menu with a wrinkled nose before back at the girl. “What do you suggest?”

Nova gave him a small shrug and shook her head. "I'm not really sure. Maybe it's just ignorance at it's worst?"

“Uhh yeah. It’s horrible.” He said with a frown. “Like because I have a British accent doesn’t mean I am going to quote some ridiculous commercial ” He sighed. “Why are people so stupid sometimes?” He asked looking over at her.

Nova wasn't sure if that was supposed to be an insult or a statement. The boy definitely seemed very confident in himself. She didn't like to say cocky just yet, but that was the path that he was taking. She glanced down and brushed the side of her leg, a small piece of glass latching itself onto her finger. "Oh nuts... I am bleeding."

“Huh, so you’re not from around here. It shows.” The boy replied, glancing at his watch. He didn’t usually spend his time talking to strangers in the middle of the canned/jarred foods aisle. Cocking a brow, he sniffed, glancing down at his toms, his jeans, even the shoulder of his leather jacket before smirking a bit. “Nope, perfect as usual. Although you,” he nodded towards her. “I think you’re bleeding, but it could just be jam.”

"I'm sorry... I'm from a small town and our grocery stores are never so crowded. Plus I've had a really long day..." She explained, pouting a bit and surveying the boy. "You didn't get any glass on you did you?"

Isaac had just been by for the usual, two bags of milk in each hand. He’d only meant to brush passed the girl, but unknowingly to him, she’d been the jumpy type, flailing arms caused a domino effect that ended in one jar of unbought jam on the aisle floor. “This is a grocery store, if you have some sort of people phobia you should try to avoid places that have well, people.”

Her eyes must've boggled at the sight of the bedroom. It wasn't anything too grand, but it was absolutely beautiful. "It.. is?" She whispered, padding inside and turning in a circle.

Kate chuckled at the girl’s reaction. Jesus, if she was always this shy, polite, and adorable she would never survive in this house. She walked her up to one of the spare bedrooms. “This is now yours.”

Leave it to Nova to cause a complete catastrophe. All she had been doing was reaching for a jar of grape jam on one of the top shelves at the grocery store when she caught a blur of movement from behind her. She was so startled that she lurched forwards and knocked a jar right off of the shelf. She squealed when it shattered against the floor, and she covered up her face as she turned to the person behind her. "You scared me!"

After almost a week of job searching, Nova finally managed to find a job at a small cafe that had just opened. She somehow landed the job of barista, and she put on her pleasant face as she heard the chime go above the door. "Hi! What can I get for you?"

"Well I guess that means that we're both new!" She furrowed her brow slightly at his joke, because she didn't understand. "Do people actually walk up to you and ask you to do that? That's a little silly."

“I have never met someone from Canada.” He said with a laugh. “I moved here yesterday as well. It’s fine. As long as you don’t ask me to do that Orbitz commercial, we will get along just fine.”
