I think it’s pretty clear what’s going on. Ragatha has pale feelings for Pomni and wanted to enter a moirallegience with her, but Pomni rejected her advances and became moirails with Jax instead. this is for the better, as Ragatha’s reluctance to express her own emotions would render a pale relationship one-sided and miserable for everyone involved.

unfortunately, the moirallegience between Pomni and Jax is likely to disrupt the existing kismesissitude between Ragatha and Jax, and it may devolve into plain hatred.

on the other end of the circus, Zooble is now acting as an auspistice for Jax and Gangle. but it’s debatable how well they’re doing. while Zooble does a good job keeping Jax in line, they’re a lot more reluctant to reign in Gangle. (possible flushcrush?) improper auspisticism of this nature will only fuel further resentment between the feuding parties.

matespritship is by far the rarest quadrant in the circus. two of its members have closed themselves off to red relationships entirely, preferring to remain committed to a former partner. in Pomni’s case, Gummigoo. in Kinger’s, Queenie.

crazy thing about the end fight is if siffrin had used any of the big items like the bomb or the keyknife they wouldve beat the king single handedly

it would be a small change i think, for them to know siffrin went ahead and fought the king himself, and won! but it feels like a difference with potential(while the despair of siffrin failing to do this one thing with the king is an interesting avenue to explore, i dont think siffrin had the strength to remain conscious after that fight)

and its interesting, that it was possible, for that to be done, but only using either: the keyknife, gifted by the change god, and sharpened with wishcraft and someone elses sharpening stone

or with a bomb, that only isabeu knows how to make, and was already started by mirabelles roomate.
