Fade Emmrich

I came up with the idea of Fade Emmrich, an alternate version of Emmrich Volkarin. He came to be from Emmrichs deepest darkest desires, and lives in the Fade. Only shows up whenever Dahlia is pent up or wanting more from her real Emmrich. 💚

I also worked together with the amazing @silshinobii to start a Dragon Age fanfic and fancomic series of Fade Emmrich X Dahlia Ingellvar!!

Every time Solas is just … lurking in the background … all I hear is

You can love a character and still admit when they’re wrong. I love Solas but can acknowledge his flaws (he has none) and can hold him accountable for his wrongdoings (he’s never done anything wrong in his life) and call him out for his actions (which are always correct).

It makes me sad when I hear people say that Solas killing Varric made them hate him.

That… *bites fist* that’s what Epler WANTED, you idiots!

Epler was the one who called for that to happen because in his mind, Solas was “too sympathetic”.Whatever the fuck that means.

And the fact that people are falling for it. Hating Solas now, makes me livid.

And even in the context of that scene, it’s clear that it was a fucking accident. An accident that never would’ve come to pass if Varric hadn’t been written as a temporary idiot.

In this case, what got him killed was so out of character, it is insulting.

Varric would know not to attack a very stressed out person holding a blade.

And we know that Solas had no intention of hurting his friend, that’s why he broke Bianca first.

Varric never should’ve died the way he did.

It was cheap, badly written, and to add insult to injury, Bioware had the gall to use him as a marketing tactic.

I honestly don’t blame Emmrich for forgetting all about Johanna and her lantern as soon as Manfred spoke lol

Manfred said "Hello" and all priorities and thoughts went out of the window

I'll never be over the fact that Nevarra is Weekend-at-Bernie's-ing its literal monarch, and when Lucanis asks about why King Markus has survived his many, many, many assassination attempts, Emmrich (who knows damn well the guy's a corpse) keeps up the pretense with "oh he's just in great shape for his age :)"

My analysis of Emmrich is that when the team goes out drinking he mostly sits watching them gossip while he drinks fancy wine and the others think he'll just sort of sit and quitely relax until, several glasses in, he opens with "May I say something unkind?" and then proceeds to drop tea so scalding it could boil an ocean
