May 31 ‘Lord, I Cannot, But You Can!’     주님 저는 할수 없어요, 하지만 주님은 할수 있으십니다.

Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

빌립보서2:13 너희 안에서 행하시는 이는 하나님이시니 자기의 기쁘신 뜻을 위하여 너희에게 소원을 두고 행하게 하시나니

Have you ever tried to break a bad habit on your own? You probably found that when you tried to stop it by sheer willpower, you saw improvement for a while, and then bounced back to square one. Worse, you found yourself binging on the very thing that you were trying not to do. And your condition is worse than before you started your “I’m going to quit” program! 혹시 나쁜 습관을 끊으려고 노력해 보신적이 있나요? 자신의 확고한 의지력으로 끊으려고 하면, 얼마 동안은 효과를 볼수있어도, 다시원점으로 돌아가는 것을 아마 발견했을 것입니다. 그리고 당신이 하지 않으려고 것을 다시 하는것을 보게 됩니다.  오히려 "나는 끊을거야!"라고 결심하고 시작할때보다 훨씬 나빠진것을 밝견하게 됩니다!  변화는 잠시뿐이였습니다. 

The changes were temporary because it was you doing it. 왜냐하면 당신 스스로의 힘으로 노력했기 때문입니다!

A church member who had been a chain-smoker used to believe that with willpower, he could quit smoking. He would tell himself, “If there is a will, there is a way!” But he discovered that with willpower, he could stop smoking for a week or two, and then he would succumb to the pull of nicotine again. 저희 교회에 줄담배를 피우던 교인이 있었는데, 그는 자신의 의지력 믿었지만, 담배를 끊을수가 없었습니다. 그는 "하려고하면, 길이 있다!"라고 자신에게 말했을 것입니다. 그러나 자신의 의지로는 1-2주 정도는 금연을 할수가 있었지만, 결국은 니코틴의 유혹에 무릎을꿇고 말았습니다.

When he turned his life over to God and learnt about God’s grace, he told God, “I realize that I cannot stop smoking. I cannot, but You can break my habit, Lord.” And every time he lit up, he would say, “Lord, I am trying to stop smoking, but I cannot. I am trusting You.” He would even say, “I am still righteous because of Jesus’ blood.” 그가 삶을 하나님께 맡기고, 하나님의 은혜를 알게된 후에, "나는 담배를 끊을수 없다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 나는 할수없지만, 하나님은이 습관을 끊을수 있습니다"라고 하나님께 말했습니다. 매번 담배에 불을 붙일때, "주님, 나는 담배를 끊고 싶지만, 할수가 없어요. 나는주님을 신뢰합니다"라고 말했습니다. 그는 심지어 "나는 지금 예수님의 피로 의롭게 되었다."라고 선포했습니다.

Well, in the very same year, all his cravings to smoke vanished! When asked how he succeeded, he would say, “It is entirely God and none of me! It is all by His grace.” This man lost all the desire to smoke. That is true transformation. 그런데, 바로 그해에, 담배를 피우고 싶은 욕구가 사라져 버렸습니다. 어떻게 담배를 끊었어요? 라고 물으면 그는 "완전 하나님이 하셨습니다. 내가 한것이 아니예요!  오직 하나님의 은혜입니다" 라고 말했습니다. 그는 담배를 피고 싶은 욕구가 완전히 없어졌습니다. 이것이 바로 완전한 변화입니다.

When you receive the grace of God to do for you what you cannot do, you will experience effortless and permanent change on the inside, which in turn changes your actions on the outside. The Bible tells us that God works in us to give us both the will and ability to perform what He desires. It is God who removes the old want to’s and gives us new ones. And He even gives us the power to carry them out! 하나님의 은혜를 받아서, 당신이 할수 없는 일을 할때는, 힘들이지않고 영구적인 변화가 몸안에서 일어납니다. 그래서 당신밖으로 행동의 변화가 나타나게 됩니다. 성경에서는, "너희 안에서 행하시는 이는 하나님이시니 자기의 기쁘신 뜻을 위하여 너희에게 소원을 두고 행하게 하시나니"라고 말씀하십니다. 그래서 하나님이 나의 옛사람을 새사람으로 바꾸어주십니다. 그리고 그렇게 변화된 삶을 계속해서 살수있도록 능력을 주십니다!

Beloved, look to His grace to do what you cannot do. Say, “Lord, I cannot, but You can!” Then, what you experience will not merely be behavior modification, but true and lasting inward transformation! 사랑하는 성도 여러분, 하나님의 은혜가 당신이 할수없는 것을 하시도록 바라보세요.  "주님, 저는 할수 없어요. 하지만 주님은 할수있습니다."라고 선포하세요. 그러면 단지 행동이 교정되는 것이 아니라 진실로 마음속 깊은 곳에서 변화가 일어나는 것을 경험하게 될것입니다.

Deuteronomy 28:10 Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.

신명기 28:10 땅의 모든 백성이 여호와의 이름이 너를 위하여 불리는 것을 보고 너를 두려워하리라

Today, we are called by the name of Christ—Christians. Therefore, the blessing of Deuteronomy 28:10, which says, “Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord” is no longer just a promise but reality! 오늘날 우리는 그리스도의 이름으로 불리게 되어서 크리스쳔이라고 불립니다. 그러므로 신명기 28장10절에 있는 "땅의 모든 백성이 여호와의 이름이 너를 위하여 불리는 것을 보고"라는 말이 더이상 약속이아니라실제로 일어나고 있는 것입니다!

The second part of the verse—“and they shall be afraid of you”—is also true for you. People will respect you. Your boss will favor you and even your competitors will esteem you highly. They know that there is something special about you because good things happen when you are around! 그리고 두번째 구절인 "너를 두려워하리라"라는 말도 진실입니다. 사람들이 당신을 존경할 것입니다. 당신의 직장상사가 특혜를 베플고, 당신의 경쟁자가 당신을 존경하게 될것입니다. 왜냐하면 당신이 있으면 주위에 좋은 일들이 일어나기 때문에, 무엇인가 당신에게 특별한 것이 있다는 것을 압니다.

I experienced this blessing when I first started working. I worked in a small third-floor office which constantly smelled of salted fish because there was a salted fish stall on the ground floor. It was in that small, dingy office that I kept on confessing that I was blessed by the Lord, and I experienced divine favor with my clients. My boss could see that there was something different about me. 제가 처음 직장을 다닐때 그런 축복을 경험하게 되었습니다. 저희 사무실이 3층에 있었는데 항상 소금에 절인 생선냄새가 났습니다. 왜냐하면 1층에 있는 좌판에 소금에 절인 생선이 있었기 때문입니다. 바로 그 작고칙칙한 사무실에서, 저는 하나님이 나를 축복했다고 선포했었고, 저희 고객으로 부터 신비로운 호의를 경험했습니다.  저의 직장상사는 저에게 뭔가 특별한 점이 있다는 것을 알아보기 시작했습니다.

The company’s business flourished and before long, we moved out of that small office to a building which in the mid-eighties was considered an information technology hub. There, we occupied a couple of offices, and started specializing in computer software and courses. Soon, we occupied the entire floor! That was how much God was prospering us. 그회사는 번창하게 되어서, 얼마 안가서 그 조그만 사무실에서 , 80년대 중반 정보센터라고 여기는 건물로이전하게 되었습니다. 거기서 여러 사무실을 쓰고, 컴퓨던 프로그램과 교육을 전문으로 하는 회사가 되었는데. 금방 한층 전체를 사용하게 되었습니다. 이렇게 하나님이 우리을 번창하게 하셨습니다. 

God was also blessing me tremendously. I was drawing a very good monthly income, enjoying the favor of my boss and was in his inner circle. A few years later, I decided to go into full-time ministry. When I broke the news to my boss, he cried. I never knew how much I meant to him until then. It was only then that I realized what a blessing I had been to him by the grace of God. 하나님은 저를 엄청나게 축복하셨습니다. 저는 많은 급여를 받고, 직장 상사의 특혜를 받고 있었고, 회사의주요일원이 되었습니다. 몇년이 지난후에, 저는 전문 목회자가 되기로 결심했습니다. 저의 상사에게 그 이야기를 꺼내니까, 그가 울었습니다. 제가 저의 상사에게 얼마자 소중한 존재라는 사실을 그때까지 몰랐습니다. 그때야 비로서 하나님의 은혜가 저에게 임한 덕분에 직장상사 에게도 축복을 된것을 알게되었습니다.

Beloved, because you are also called by the name of the Lord, wherever you go, you are a blessing. His blessing is on you. The people around you will look at you and know that you are a blessing going somewhere to happen! 사랑하는 성도 여러분, 당신이 하나님의 이름으로 불리기 때문에, 어디를 가던지 복덩어리 입니다. 하나님이축복이 당신에게 임합니다. 당신 주위에 있는 사람들은 당신이 어디를 가던지 축복이 일어난다 것을 보게될것 입니다!

Thought For The Day Because the blessing of the Lord is upon you, good things happen when you are around! 주님의 은총이 여러분에게 닥쳐오기 때문에, 여러분이 곁에 있으면 선한 일이 일어납니다.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

이사야55:11 내 입에서 나가는 말도 이와 같이 헛되이 내게로 되돌아오지 아니하고 나의 기뻐하는 뜻을 이루며 내가 보낸일에 형통함이니라

Some years back, I had a skin condition which refused to heal. I told God about it and began to take the Holy Communion believing and confessing that by Jesus’ stripes I was healed. Nothing happened, or so it seemed. 몇년전에, 저는 잘 고쳐지지 않는피부질환이 있었습니다.  하나님께 이문제 대해서 얘기도 하고 성만찬을 하면서, 예수님이 채찍에 맞아서 내가 낮음을 얻었다고 선포했었습니다. 그런데  아무런 차도가 없고 느낌도없었습니다.

But the Lord did not forget about my skin condition. One day, He prompted me to check my body to see if it was still there. I did so and realized that it had disappeared! God had not forgotten the Word which I had confessed in faith. 그렇지만 하나님은 나의 질환을 잊지 않으셨습니다. 어느날, 하나님이 내몸을 살펴보고, 그것이 아직도 있는지 확인해보라고 하셨습니다. 저는 그때 그 질환이 없어진 것을 깨달았습니다! 하나님은 ��가 믿음으로 한말을 잊지 않으셨습니다!

A couple in the United States who has been hearing me preach on God’s grace began to catch a revelation of God’s love for them. They started confessing their righteousness in Christ, and meditating on provision scriptures and declaring that they were debt free through Jesus’ finished work. 미국에 사는 한 부부가 저의 은혜의 설교를 듣고 하나님의 그들을 사랑한다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 그래서 예수님안에 그들의 의를 선포하기 시작하고, 예수님의 다 이루신일을 통해서 그들이 빚에서 벗어났다고 선포하고, 하나님의 공급하심에 관한 성경구절을 선포하기 시작했습니다. Not long after, the wife phoned their mortgage company to make two mortgage payments on their home. They had a total of about US$80,000 left to pay. To her utter surprise and delight, she was told that both accounts were at a zero balance. The company had forgiven both mortgage loans! Indeed, God did not forget the Word that this couple had spoken in faith. 얼마지나지 않아서, 부인이 집을 대출해준 은행에 두개의 부채를 갚으려고 전화를 했습니다. 아직 물어야 할돈이 $8만불이 남아있었기 때문입니다.  그런데 뜻밖에 놀랍고도 기쁘게, 두개의 부채의 잔액이  $0 라는것이 였습니다.  그 은행에서 두개의 부채를 모두 탕감해 주었던 것입니다!  정말로 하나님은 이 부부가 믿음으로 하나님께 한말을 잊지 않으셨습니다.

Maybe you shared God’s Word with a troubled friend a few years ago. You bump into him one day and he tells you, “Remember that day? You said something which transformed my life!” Your mind draws a blank because you have forgotten what you said. But God did not forget. He remembered what you said that day in faith. 아마도 당신은 곤경에 처한 친구에게 하나님의 말씀을 했을 것입니다. 그런데 어느날 그 친구가 나타나서"그날 기억해?  니가 한말때문에 나의 인생이 바뀌었어!"라고 말합니다. 그때 당신의 머리속은 하나도 기억이 없읍니다. 왜냐하면 뭐라고 말했는지 잊어 버렸기 때문입니다. 그러나 하나님은 잊지 않으십니다. 하나님은 당신이 그날 믿음으로 한말을 기억하셨습니다.

You see, if the words you confess in faith for yourself or over your loved ones are God’s own words, He says, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Because what is promised to you is God’s Word, you will see the manifestation of His promise. He will certainly watch over His Word to perform it! (Numbers 23:19) 하나님의 말씀을 당신에게나, 사랑하는 이에게 선포했다면, 하나님은 "내 입에서 나가는 말도 이와 같이 헛되이 내게로 되돌아오지 아니하고 나의 기뻐하는 뜻을 이루며 내가 보낸 일에 형통함이니라"라고 말씀하십니다. 하나님이 약속하신 말씀은 하나님의 말씀 이기때문에, 그 약속이 이루어지는 것을 보게 될것입니다. 하나님은 하나님의 말씀이 행하여 지는 것을 지키십니다.

Numbers 민수기23:19 하나님은 사람이 아니시니 거짓말을 하지 않으시고 인생이 아니시니 후회가 없으시도다 어찌 그 말씀하신바를 행하지 않으시며 하신 말씀을 실행하지 않으시랴

Thought For The Day God will certainly watch over His Word to perform it! 하나님은 분명히 그의 말을 지키기 ���해 그의 말을 지켜보실 것입니다!

Ephesians 3:19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

에베소서 3:19 그 너비와 길이와 높이와 깊이가 어떠함을 깨달아 하나님의 모든 충만하신 것으로 너희에게 충만하게 하시기를 구하노라

We would all like to experience more health, abundance and success in our lives. God, being God, has all of these things, won’t you agree? So to be full of God is to be full of health, abundance and success. But how does one become full of God? 우리는 삶속에서 좀더 건강하고, 풍족하고, 성공을 경험하기  원합니다.  하나님은, 하나님이시기 때문에 이런모든것을 가지고 계십니다. 동의하시지요? 그러므로 하나님으로 충만하게 되면 건강하고 풍성하고 성공이 충만하게 됩니다. 그러면 어떻게 해야 하나님으로 충만하게 될까요?

In the past, I was told that to be “filled with all the fullness of God”, I had to fast a certain number of days, pray a certain number of hours and speak in tongues incessantly! I am not belittling fasting, praying or speaking in tongues, but to be filled with all the fullness of God is not about what you do. It is not even about your love for Christ. It is actually about knowing the love of Christ! No one ever told me that if I knew how much God loves me and focused on His love for me, I would be full of Him. 예전에는, "하나님의 모든 충만하신 것으로 충만" 하려면, 몇일간 금식하고 하루에 몇시간씩 기도하고, 방언을 쉬지않고 말해야 된다고, 저는배웠습니다. 저는 금식이나, 기도나 방언을 사소하게 여기지 않습니다. 그러나 "하나님의 모든 충만하신 것으로 충만"하게 되는것은 당신 무엇을 해야 얻는것이 아닙니다. 또한 당신이 얼마나 예수님을 사랑하는 것과도 관계가 없습니다. 그것은 반대로 예수님이 당신을 얼마나 사랑하는지를 아는 지식과 상관이 있습니다!  누구도 저에게, 하나님이 나를 얼마나 사랑하는지 알고, 하나님이 나를 사랑하는것에 촛점�� 둘때, 내가 하나님으로 충만해진다고 가르쳐준 적이 없습니다.

When God made you, He designed you to run at optimal level when you are filled with His love, like a car that runs at its best when it is filled with the right kind of petrol or gasoline. When you realize how much God loves you and you feed on His love for you, you will be supernaturally filled with the fullness of God. 하나님이 당신을 만들때,  당신이 하나님의 사랑으로 가득차면 최상의 상태가 되게 창조하셨습니다. 그것은마치 자동차에 맞는 기름을 넣어야 최상의 상태로 ���리는것 같은 이치입니다. 하나님이 당신을 얼마나 당신을 사랑하는지 깨닫고, 그 사랑으로 당신을 채우면, 당신을 초자연적으로 하나님의 충만함으로 채워지게 될것입니다.

And to be full of God is to be full of everything God is to you and has for you. To be full of God is to come to a place of life, health, peace, abundance—total wellness. 그리고 하나님의 충만으로 가득차게 되면, 하나님의 당신에게 어떻한 분이 되심과 당신을 위해서 주신 모든것으로 충만하게 됩니다. 하나님으로 충만하게 되면 생명과, 평강과 풍족이 넘치는 완벽한 삶의 자리에 이르게 됩니다.

Also, when you are conscious of how much God loves you and you become filled with the fullness of God, what follows is the next verse—God doing exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ask or think, according to the power that works in you. (Ephesians 3:20) You will experience the tremendous blessings of God exploding in your life! You will become a blessing magnet! 그리고 하나님이 얼마나 당신을 사랑하시는 것을 생각하면, 당신은 하나님의 충만으로 가득차게 될 뿐더러, 그다음 구절에 있는 것도 더하여 질것읍니다.  즉 우리 가운데서 역사하시는 능력대로 우리가 구하거나 생각하는 모든 것에 더 넘치도록 능히 하실것 입니다. 당신은 엄청난 하나님의 축복이 삶속에 넘치는것을 경험하게 될것입니다.  어디를 가나 축복이 당신을 쫒아 다닐것입니다!

Ephesians 에베소서3:20 우리 가운데서 역사하시는 능력대로 우리가 구하거나 생각하는 모든 것에 더 넘치도록 능히 하실 이에게

So as God’s beloved, continue to be nourished by His love for you, and experience more health, abundance and success in your life! 그러므로 하나님의 사랑하는 자녀로서, 하나님의 사랑을 자양분으로 흡수하세요. 그리고 더 많은 건강과 풍족함과 성공을 당신의 삶속에서 경험하세요!

Thought For The Day Being filled with the fullness of God is not about what you do, but about knowing how much God loves you. 하나님의 충만함으로 충만한 것은 여러분이 무엇을 하느냐에 관한 것이 아니라, 하나님이 여러분을 얼마나 사랑하시는지를 아시는 것입니다.

Let It Go!

Exodus 15:26 …I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

출애굽기15:26 이르시되 너희가 너희 하나님 나 여호와의 말을 들어 순종하고 내가 보기에 의를 행하며 내 계명에 귀를 기울이며 내 모든 규례를 지키면 내가 애굽 사람에게 내린 모든 질병 중 하나도 너희에게 내리지 아니하리니나는 너희를 치료하는 여호와임이라

After crossing the Red Sea, the children of Israel came to a place called Marah. The waters there were bitter. That is why the place was called Marah, which means “bitter”. The Israelites could not drink any of the water, so the Lord made the bitter waters sweet. (Exodus 15:23–25) Then, He brought up the subject of the diseases of Egypt and, for the first time, revealed Himself to His people as “the Lord who heals you”. 홍해를 건너온후에, 이스라엘 백성들은 "마라"라는 곳에 이르게 되었습니다. 그곳은 물맛이 썼습니다. 그래서 그곳을 "마라(쓰다)"라고 불렀습니다. 이스라엘 백성이 물을 마실수가 없으니까, 하나님은 쓴물을 달게만드셨습니다. 그런데 거기서 하나님은 애굽의 병에 대해서 말씀하셨습니다. 그리고 처음으로 "너희를 치료하는 여호와"라고 자신을 밝히셨습니다. 

Exodus 출애굽기15:23–25 마라에 이르렀더니 그 곳 물이 써서 마시지 못하겠으므로 그 이름을 마라라 하였더라백성이 모세에게 원망하여 이르되 우리가 무엇을 마실까 하매모세가 여호와께 부르짖었더니 여호와께서 그에게 한 나무를 가리키시니 그가 물에 던지니 물이 달게 되었더라 거기서 여호와께서 그들을 위하여 법도와 율례를 정하시고 그들을 시험하실새

Why did the Lord suddenly mention the diseases of the world (Egypt represents the world in the Bible) at a place called “bitter”? What do diseases have to do with bitter waters? I believe that it is because He wants His people to know that a major cause of diseases in their bodies is harboring bitterness and resentment! 그러면 왜 "마라(쓰다)" 라고 하는 곳에서,  갑자기 하나님은 세상의 질병에 대해서 말씀 하신것일까요? (참조: 성경에서 애굽은 세상을 상징합니다)  쓴물이 병과 무슨 상관이 있는 것일까요?  제 생각에는, 병이 나는가장 큰 이유가 화를 내고 쓴뿌리를 몸속에 계속 품고 있있다는 것을 알려주기 위해서, 하나님께서 그 순간병에 대해서 말씀하신것 같습니다.

Some years ago, a lady shared with me about her sister who had died of cancer at a young age. She said, “Pastor Prince, a number of years before she passed on, she went through a very bitter divorce. She was very bitter toward her ex-husband.” Then, she asked me, “Is there a relationship between her bitterness and the cancer?” 몇년전에, 어떤 여자성도분이 자신의 자매가, 젊은나이에 암으로 죽은것에 대서 이야기를 한적이 있습니다. 그 성도는 "조셉 프린스 목사님, 나의 자매가 죽기 몇년전에 아주 쓰디쓴 이혼을 겪어야 했었습니다. 이혼한남편에 대해서 쓴뿌리가 엄청났지요." 그리고는 저에게 질문을 했습니다. "저의 자매의 쓴뿌리와 암이 서로관계가 있나요?"

I have studied the subject of healing for many years. I have read many books. I have listened to many sermons and I have sat under many healing ministries. And they all say the same thing: If you have unforgiveness in your heart long enough, that unforgiveness can sometimes translate into a disease in your body. 저는 치유에 대해서 여러해 동안 연구를 했었습니다. 저는 많은 책도 읽고, 설교도 들었고, 많은 ���유집회도참석했었습니다. 그런데 그들은 모두 같은 이야기를 합니다. 만약 당신이 용서를 하지 않고 오랫동안 마음속에 품고 있으면, 그 용서하지 못한 마음이 어떤때는 당신의 몸에 병으로 나타납니다.

So if you have been bitter about something or someone, it is time to let it go! Your health, joy and life are more important. If you are already sick and you know that bitterness has something to do with it, let it go! See Jesus as your healer. He is standing at your place of bitterness today and He is saying to you, “My child, I can make your bitter waters sweet. I am the Lord who heals you.” 그러므로, 만약 당신이 어떤사람에 대해서 쓴뿌리가 있으면, 이제 그런 마음을 놓아주고 떠나가게 하세요!  당신의 건강과 기쁨과 생명이 더 소중하니까요.  만약 지금 당신이 아픈데, 그 이유가 어떤 쓴뿌리 때문이라면, 당장 그마음을 놓아주고 떠나가게 하세요! 그리고 예수님이 당신의 치유자인 것을 바라보세요. 예수님이 당신이 가지고 있는그 쓴뿌리를 대신 안고 있으십니다. 그리고 "나의 자녀들아, 나는 너의 쓴뿌리를 달콤하게 할수 있다. 나는 너를 고치는 여호와 이다"라고 말씀하십니다.

My friend, let it all go and let Jesus heal not just your diseases, but your broken heart too! 성도 여러분, 이제 모든것을 놓아주고 떠나가게 하세요. 예수님이 당신의 질병 뿐만 아니라, 상한 마음까지고쳐주시게 하세요!

스가랴 9:12 갇혀 있으나 소망을 품은 자들아 너희는 요새로 돌아올지니라 내가 오늘도 이르노라 내가 네게 갑절이나 갚을 것이라

I am sure that you have heard the expression, “When life throws lemons at you, make lemonade!” Well, I want you to know that when the devil throws lemons at you, God Himself will make lemonade for you! After all, the Bible says that God works all things together for your good. (Romans 8:28) 영어에는 "삶이 우리에게 레몬을 건넨다면 ,그걸로 레몬에이드(레몬주스)" 만들어라 말이 있습니다. 의역을하면 "삶에 어려운 일이 생기면, 그것을 오히려 좋은 기회로 삼아라"라는 뜻입니다. 마귀가 삶에 레몬같이 신맛이 나는 것을, 당신의 삶에 던져놓고 갈때가 있습니다. 그러나 하나님은 그것을 달콤한 레몬에이드 주스로바꾸어 놓으십니다. 그래서 성경에서는 하나님이 모든것을 협력하여 선을 이룬다고 하셨습니다. 

Romans 로마서8:28 우리가 ��거니와 하나님을 사랑하는 자 곧 그의 뜻대로 부르심을 입은 자들에게는 모든 것이 합력하여 선을이루느니라

And He does it with style—He restores double for your trouble! Beloved, if you have lost a husband or wife through divorce, or a precious child through death, God can restore double to you, so that you end up having more than before, if not in quantity, then in quality! 그리고 하나님 아버지는 멋지게 해내십니다. 당신의 문제를 오히려 두배의 축복으로 바꾸어 주십니다. 만약당신이 이혼으로 남편이나 아내를 잃어버리거나, 혹시 소중한 자녀가 죽는 불상사가 생기게 된다면, 하나님은 두배나 갚아주십니다. 그래서 당신은 양과질적으로 전보다 더 많이 갖게 됩니다.

Consider Job in the Old Testament. When he lost everything, his wife told him to curse God and die. He refused and, instead, responded to God in faith, and “the Lord gave to Job twice as much as he had before”. (Job 42:10) 구약에 나온 욥을 생각해 보세요. 그가 모든것을 잃게되자, 그의 부인은 그에게  하나님을 저주하고 죽으라고 말했습니다. 그러나 그는 단호히 거절하고 믿음으로 하나님께 응답을 했습니다. 그리고 "하나님은 욥에게 이전의 모든 소유 보다 갑절이나 주셨습니다."

Job욥기 42:10 욥이 그의 친구들을 위하여 기도할 때 여호와께서 욥의 곤경을 돌이키시고 여호와께서 욥에게 이전 모든 소유보다 갑절이나 주신지라

When David lost the child he had with Bathsheba, he stopped pleading and started worshiping God because he trusted in the mercies of God. Later, God blessed David and Bathsheba with another son named Solomon, who became the wisest and richest king the world has ever known. 다윗이 밧세바에게서 얻은 첫아들을 잃었을때, 그는 간청을 멈추고 하나님을 찬양하기 시작했습니다. 왜냐하면 다윗은 하나님의 자비를 신뢰했기 때문입니다. 나중에, 하나님은 다윗과 밧세바에게 또 다른 아들인 솔로몬을 주셨습니다.  그는 이세상에서 가장 현명하고 부유한 왕이 되었습니다.

Today, God promises to restore double for your trouble—“Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.” If He declared it, He will do it! So you cannot but have hope that things will be even better than before. That is why in the same verse, He calls you “prisoners of hope”. My friend, hope in the biblical sense means a confident expectation of good things happening in your life. You are a prisoner of that! You can’t help but wake up feeling hopeful. You can’t help but expect good things to happen to you! 오늘날, 하나님은 당신이 당한 문제를 두배의 축복으로 갚아주신고 약속하셨습니다. 스가랴 9장12절에는"내가 오늘도 이르노라 내가 네게 갑절이나 갚을 것이라"라고 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님이 그렇게 선포하셨으면, 그렇게 하실것입니다. 그러므로 당신은 모든것이 더 좋아 질것이라고 소망을 품게 될것입니다. 그래서"갇혀 있으나 소망을 품은 자들아"라고 하나님이 말씀하셨습니다. 성도 여러분 성경에서 말하는 소망은, 당신 삶에 좋은 일이 일어날것이라는 것을 완전히 확신하면서 기대하는 것입니다. 당신은 바로 그 생각에 갇혀있는 것입니다! 당신은 아침에 일어나면 소망에 가득찰수 밖에 없습니다. 당신은 좋은일이 당신에게 일어날것이다고 기대할수 밖에 없습니다.

So when trouble comes from the devil, don’t give up and say, “It is hopeless!” Don’t worry or get angry. Worship God like David did and see that trouble as an opportunity for God to bless you with more than what you originally had. And because God has declared it, be confident that you will get double for your trouble! 그래서 어떤 어려움이 마귀로 부터 온다면, 포기하면서 "절망적이야!"라고 말하지 마세요. 걱정하지도 말고화도내지 마세요. 다윗이 처럼 하나님을 경배하세요. 그리고 그 어려움을 하나님이 바꾸어서 당신이 처음 갖은것보다 훨씬 많게 복을 주시는 기회라고 생각하세요. 왜냐하면 하나님이 그렇게 선포하셨기 때문입니다. 당신의 어려움때문에 갑절로 복을 받을 것이라는 것을 확신하세요!

Thought For The Day Because God has declared it, be confident that you will get double for your trouble! 하나님께서 그것을 선언하셨기 때문에, 여러분이 고난을 당할 것이라고 확신하십시오.

요한복음19:2 군인들이 가시나무로 관을 엮어 그의 머리에 씌우고 자색 옷을 입히고

If hard work is the formula for prosperity, then everyone who works hard should be prosperous. But this is certainly not the case. Many people who work very hard are still in lack! 만약 열심히 일하는 것이  부자가 되느 공식이라면,  열심히 일하는 사람은 모두 부자가 됐어야 했을 것입니다.  그러나 실제로 그렇지 않습니다.  열심히 일했는데도 아직도 형편이 부족한 사람들이 많습니다.

I am not advocating laziness. What I am saying is that working hard by the sweat of your brow is not how God’s provision comes. In fact, if you have to work overtime all the time and are stressed out, you are probably operating under the curse. 저는 게으름을 정당화 하는 것은 아닙니다. 제가 말하려고 하는 요지는,  당신이 열심히 일하는 것이 하나님이 공급이 이루어지는 방법이 아닙니다. 당신이 매일 초과근무를 하고, 스트레스를 받고 일해야 한다면, 당신은 저주아래 있는 것입니다.

What curse is that? It is this curse: “In the sweat of your face, you shall eat bread…” (Genesis 3:19) And it refers to the stress, struggle and anxieties that come with working hard and yet producing little. Now, work itself is not a curse since God gave Adam work before the fall—Adam was to tend the garden of Eden. It was only after he sinned that the land was cursed and it brought forth thorns, and man had to toil to eat of it. (Genesis 3:17–18) 그렇다면 무슨 저주 일까요?  창세기에는 "너는 네 평생에 수고하여야 그 소산을 먹으리라."라고 했습니다. 즉 스트레스 받고, 애쓰고,  초초하게 열심히 일해도 얻는것이 조금 밖에 없습니다. 아담이 죄를 짓기 전에 하나님이 할일을 주셨기 때문에, 일을 하는것 자체가 저주는 아닙니다. 아담은 에덴동산을 돌보는 일이 주워졌습니다. 그런데 죄를 지은 이후에 땅이 저주를 받아서 가시덤불을 내고, 인간은 수고하여여야 땅의 소산을먹을수 있게 되었습니다.

Genesis 창세기3:17–19 아담에게 이르시되 네가 네 아내의 말을 듣고 내가 네게 먹지 말라 한 나무의 열매를 먹었은즉 땅은 너로 말미암아 저주를 받고 너는 네 평생에 수고하여야 그 소산을 먹으리라땅이 네게 가시덤불과 엉겅퀴를 낼 것이라 네가 먹을 것은 밭의 채소인즉네가 흙으로 돌아갈 때까지 얼굴에 땀을 흘려야 먹을 것을 먹으리니 네가 그것에서 취함을 입었음이라 너는흙이니 흙으로 돌아갈 것이니라 하시니라

But praise God, Jesus wore the thorns on His head to show you that He has borne this curse for you and redeemed you from it. He wore the crown of thorns so that you can work stress-free and yet have the results. You don’t have to be worried and stressed out day and night like the people of the world just to get ahead in life. Your heavenly Father can get you there without the worries and stress. (Matthew 6:31–33) 그렇지만 하나님을 찬양하세요. 예수님이 가시 면류관을 당신을 대신해서 쓰시고, 그 저주로 부터 해방시켜주셨습니다. 예수님이 가시 면류관을 쓰셨기 때문에, 당신은 스트레스 없이 일하고 좋은 결과를 얻게 되는것입니다. 당신은 남들보다 더 앞서가려고 염려하고 스트레스 받울 필요가 없습니다. 하늘에 계신 아버지가, 당신이 근심이나 스트레스 없이, 원하는 곳으로 데려다 줄것입니다.   

Matthew 마태복음6:31–33 그러므로 염려하여 이르기를 무엇을 먹을까 무엇을 마실까 무엇을 입을까 하지 말라이는 다 이방인들이 구하는 것이라 너희 하늘 아버지께서 이 모든 것이 너희에게 있어야 할 줄을 아시느니라그런즉 너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라

Beloved, every curse that was supposed to fall on your head fell on Jesus’ head, typified by the crown of thorns. He wore the crown of thorns for you so that you can have peace of mind. He wore the crown of thorns for you and took your curse so that you can wear the crown of glory and take His righteousness, and all the benefits of that righteousness! 사랑하는 성도여러분, 여러분이 머리에 내린 모든 저주는 대신 예수님께 내려졌습니다. 바로 가시 면류관이그것을 상징합니다. 예수님이 가시 면류관을 쓰셨기 때문에 당신은 평강을 누릴수 있습니다. 예수님이 가시면류관을 쓰셨기 때문에 당신은 영광의 면류관을 쓰고, 예수님의 의와 또한 의인이 받는 모든 축복을 받을수있습니다!

Today, don’t labor and toil like the people of the world. Instead, expect to see the blessings of God come into your life without blood, sweat and tears because Jesus wore the crown of thorns for you! 이제 부터는 세상사람들 처럼 수고하고 힘쓰지 마세요. 피와 땀과 눈물을 흘리지 않아도, 대신 하나님의 은총이 임할것을 기대하세요. 왜냐하면 예수님이 당신을 대신해서 가시 면류관을 쓰셨습니다!

2 Samuel 9:7 So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.”

2사무엘하 9:7 다윗이 그에게 이르되 무서워하지 말라 내가 반드시 네 아버지 요나단으로 말미암아 네게 은총을 베풀리라내가 네 할아버지 사울의 모든 밭을 다 네게 도로 주겠고 또 너는 항상 내 상에서 떡을 먹을지니라 하니

When the people in the palace heard that King Saul and his son Jonathan had died in battle, they panicked. Fearful that David was coming to seize the throne, and kill all the sons and grandsons of Saul, they ran for their lives. A nurse took Mephibosheth, Jonathan’s son, and ran. But as she fled, the five-year-old boy fell and became lame in both feet. (2 Samuel 4:4)

성안에 있는 사람들이 사울왕과 그의 아들 요나단이 전쟁터에서 죽었다는 소식을 들었을때, 두려움에 떨었습니다.  다윗이 왕이되고 사울의 모든 아들과 손자들 죽일 것이나는 공포때문에, 모두들 살겠다고 도망쳤습니다.  그때 유모가 요나단의 아들인 므비보셋을 안고 도망갔습니다. 그러나 도망가다가 ���섯살인 므비보셋이 떨어져서,  절름발이가 되었습니다.

2 Samuel 사무엘하4:4 사울의 아들 요나단에게 다리 저는 아들 하나가 있었으니 이름은 므비보셋이라 전에 사울과 요나단이 죽은소식이 이스르엘에서 올 때에 그의 나이가 다섯 살이었는데 그 유모가 안고 도망할 때 급히 도망하다가 아이가 떨어져 절게 되었더라

The poor boy would not have been crippled if they had known that David actually loved Jonathan and Saul, and would have looked after Jonathan’s son because he had made a covenant with Jonathan. (1 Samuel 18:3) 만약 다윗이 요나단과 사울을 정말 사랑했다는 사실을 알았다면, 그리고 요나단의 아들을 돌보아 줄것을 알았다면, 그 아이는 불구가 되지 않았을 것입니다. 왜냐하면 다윗은 요나단과 언약을 맺었기 때문입니다.

1 Samuel 사무엘상18:3 요나단은 다윗을 자기 생명 같이 사랑하여 더불어 언약을 맺었으며

In this story, King Saul represents the human race. He is like Adam who sinned against God and forfeited all that God gave to man. He had the position, but not the power anymore because of sin. Jonathan, who came after Saul, represents Jesus, who came as a human. Jonathan was not like Saul—he was good, just as Jesus is not like Adam—Jesus is the perfect Man. David represents God. So Jonathan’s covenant with David speaks of Jesus’ covenant with God. Mephibosheth represents believers today who are “lame” in some way—sick, depressed, fearful, poor and so on.

여기서 사울왕은 우리 인간을 상징합니다. 그는, 하나님께 죄를 짓고 하나님이 주신 모든것을 빼앗긴 아담과같습니다. 사울왕은 지위가 있었지만, 죄 때문에 더이상 능력은 없었습니다. 사울왕의 아들 요나단은 인간의모습으로 오신 예수님을 상징합니다. 예수님은 완벽한 인간 이였습니다. 다윗은 하나님을 상징합니다. 그래서 요나단과 다윗이 맺은 언약은 예수님이 하나님과 맺은 언약을 상징합니다. 므비보셋은, 오늘날 아프고, 지쳐있고, 두렵고,가난으로 "절름발이"같이된, 하나님을 믿는 우리들의 모습니다.

(비유: 1사울왕 = 아담과 인간, 2 요나단 = 예수님, 3다윗 =하나님,  4무비보셋=우리들)

Now, Mephibosheth became lame because of bad news that was based on a lie. Many believers today are suffering needlessly because they believe the wrong things about God. They think, “My sin has found me out! God is coming after me!” 므비보셋은 잘못된 거짓말 때문에 절름발이가 되었습니다. 오늘날 많은 신앙인들이 불필요하게 고통을 겪고 있습니다. 왜냐하면 하나님에 대해서 잘못 믿고 있기 때문입니다.  그들은 "숨겨진 죄는 반드시 들어날것이야! 하나님이 나를 벌주려고 찾고있어!"라고 믿습니다.

Well, I have good news for all Mephibosheths: David is not after your life! When David looked for Mephibosheth, it was to show him kindness, to take care of him and restore to him the land that had belonged to Saul his grandfather. 므비보셋과 같은 여러분께 좋은 소식이 있습니다. 다윗은 당신의 생명을 헤치려고 하지 않습니다! 다윗이므비보셋을 찾은 이유는, 그에게 선을 베풀고, 돌보고, 그의 할아버지인 사울에게 속했던 땅을 되찾아 주기위해서 였습니다.

Likewise, God is not out to get you. He knows all about your sins and still loves you. That is why He sent Jesus as the payment for your sins. And because of Jesus’ covenant with Him, He says to you, “Don’t be afraid, I will surely show you kindness. I will restore all to you and you shall always eat at My table!” 마찬가지로, 하나님이 당신에게 벌주기 위해서 찾아오시지 않습니다. 하나님은 벌써 당신의 모든죄를 알고있지만, 당신을 사랑하십니다. 그래서 당신의 죄값을 대신 치루게 하기 위해서 예수님을 보내주셨습니다. 그리고 예수님은 하나님과 언약을 맺었습니다. 하나님이 당신에게 "무서워하지 말라. 네게 은총을 베풀리라,  내가 너의 모든것을 회복시켜주고, 또 너는 항상 내 상에서 같이 식사를 할것이다."라고 말씀 하십니다.

Thought For The Day God is not out to get you, but to show you kindness, and to give you provision and restoration. 하나님께서는 여러분을 데리고 가시려고 하시는 것이 아니라, 친절함을 보여 주실 것입니다.

Which Is Easier To Say?

May 21 Which Is Easier To Say?   어느것이 더 말하기 쉽겠어요?

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,

골로새서2:13 또 범죄와 육체의 무할례로 죽었던 너희를 하나님이 그와 함께 살리시고 우리의 모든 죄를 사하시고

Let me ask you a question which Jesus asked the Pharisees: “Which is easier, to say [to the paralytic], ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’?” (Luke 5:23) 예수님이 바리새인에게 했던, 똑같은 질문을 당신에게도 해보겠습니다. "네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하는 말과 일어나 걸어가라 하는 말이 어느 것이 쉬울까요?"

Luke 누가복음5:23 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하는 말과 일어나 걸어가라 하는 말이 어느 것이 쉽겠느냐

In the context of ministering to a paralytic, saying “Your sins are forgiven” is probably easier. Why? Because you don’t need an outward manifestation to prove that his sins are forgiven. But when you tell him, “Rise up and walk,” he must rise up and walk, or you will look very foolish! So that makes saying “Your sins are forgiven” easier than saying “Rise up and walk”. 몸을 움직이지 못하는 중풍병자에게는 "너의 죄가 사함을 받았다."라고 말하는 것이 더 쉬울 것입니다. 왜냐하면, 죄가 사하여진것을 눈으로 보여줄 필요가 없으니까요. 그러나 당신이 "일어나 걸어가라."라고 명하면, 그 사람이 일어나서 걸어가는 기적이 일어나던지, 아무일 일어나지 않으면  당신이 바보처럼 보일것입니다!  그러므로 "네 죄사람을 받았다" 가 "일어나 걸어가라"보다 훨씬 말하기 쉽습니다.

The truth is, what is seemingly more difficult for man in the natural is not so for God. With God, physical healing is clearly “easier” for Him than forgiveness of sins. The latter is the “harder” and greater miracle because it required God to deliver up His beloved Son to take on all our sins and shed His blood on the cross. 진실은, 세상에서 사람들이 쉬운일 이라고 생각하는 것이 하나님께는 정반대일수 있습니다. 하나님에게는죄를 용서하는 것보다  치유하는것이 "쉬운일" 입니다. 죄를 용서하는 것은 "더 어려운"일이고 더 큰 기적이필요합니다. 왜냐하면 하나님이 사랑하는 아들을, 우리의 모든죄를 지고 십자가에서 피를 흘리도록 내주어야 하기 때문입니다.

Yet, when faced with a loved one stricken with cancer, or when gripped by mounting debts after being jobless for a long time, we seem to find it harder to believe and say that God has already given us the breakthroughs we need, than to believe and say that our sins are forgiven. Saying that our sins are forgiven seems easier than saying that God has already given us the miraculous physical healing, supernatural financial breakthrough or divine favor at the next job interview. 그런데 사랑하는 사람이 암에 걸린것을 보거나, 오랜동안 직장이 없어서 빚이 산더미 처럼 쌓이는 것을 볼때, 우리는 하나님이 우리에게 벌써 돌파구를 마련하셨다는 것을 믿기가 힘듭니다. 차라리 죄가 용서되었다는 것을 믿기가 훨씬 쉽습니다.  우리죄가 사하여졌다는 것는 것이, 하나님이 기적의 치유를 주신것이나 빚이 다 갚아지는 기적이나, 취업 면접에서 은총을 주시는것 보다 훨씬 쉽니다고 생각합니다.

But since God has done the “harder” and greater miracle of “having forgiven you all trespasses”, there is nothing He will not do for you! (Romans 8:32) In fact, if you think that there is something that God is withholding from you, you are implying that that something is greater than the forgiveness of sins which Jesus died to give you! But nothing can be greater than the perfect sacrifice of Jesus. 그러나 하나님은 "당신의 모든 죄를 사하여주는" 엄청나고 "더 어려운"기적을 행하셨습니다. 이제 하나님이당신에게 못하실 일이 없습니다. 아직도 당신이 하나님이 무엇을 주시않고 있다고 생각한다면,  예수님이 죽음을 통해서 당신에게 주신 죄사함보다 더 귀하는것이 있다는 뜻입니다.그러나 하나님께는 예수님의 완벽한 희생보다 더 귀한것은 없습니다. 

Romans 로마서8:32 자기 아들을 아끼지 아니하시고 우리 모든 사람을 위하여 내주신 이가 어찌 그 아들과 함께 모든 것을 우리에게 주시지 아니하겠느냐

So hear the Lord telling you today, “Your sins have been forgiven you. You have perfect acceptance before God. Rise up and be healed! Rise up and walk in health, wisdom, favor, protection and wholeness!” 그러므로 오늘날 예수님이당신에게 하는 말씀을 들으세요 "너의 죄는 사함을 받았다. 너는 하나님이 온전히받으신다. 일어나서 병이  나아라!  얼어나서 건강하게, 지혜롭게, 은총과 보호를 받고, 완전해져서 걸어라!"

Thought For The Day Since God has done the greatest miracle of having forgiven you all trespasses, there is nothing He will not do for you! 하나님께서 너희를 용서하신 것은, 하나님께서 너희 모두를 용서하신 가장 큰 기적이기 때문이다. 그가 너희를 위해 하지 않은 일은 아무것도 없다.

요한복음 15:5 나는 포도나무요 너희는 가지라 그가 내 안에, 내가 그 안에 거하면 사람이 열매를 많이 맺나니 나를 떠나서는 너희가 아무 것도 할 수 없음이라

In this verse, Jesus says, “I am the vine, you are the branches.” He did not say, “I am the vine, try to be the branches.” In other words, He wants us to realize that we are already the branches. We do not have to struggle to become the branches. 예수님은 위의 성경구절에서 "나는 포도나무요 너희는 가지라"선포하셨지 "나는 포도나무요 너희는 가지가되려고 노력해라"라고 말씀하지 않았습니다.  즉 예수님은 우리가 벌써 가지인것을 깨닫기 원하십니다. 우리가 노력하고 애써서 가지가 될 필요가 없습니다.

As His branches, we only have to abide or remain in Christ our vine. How do we do that? We do that by simply being conscious every day of our position in Christ. Because we have received Christ, we are in Christ and are accepted in the Beloved. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 1:6) God accepts us because we are in the Beloved and He is in us. And that is how God sees us today when we come into His presence. 우리는 가지이기 때문에, 나무가되신 예수님께 붙어있거나 속해 있으면 됩니다. 어떻게 그렇게 하지요? 우리는 매일 예수님안에 있는 우리의 지위를 생각하면 됩니다. 우리는 예수님을 영접했기 때문에 예수님(즉하나님이 사랑하는 자) 안에 있습니다.   하나님이 우리를 받으신 이유는 하나님이 사랑하는 자(즉 예수님)안에 우리가 있고, 또한 예수님이 우리안에 있기 때문입니다. 우리가 하나님앞에 나갈때에, 하나님이 우리를그렇게 보십니다. 

2 Corinthians고린도후서 5:17 그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다

Ephesians에베소서 1:6 이는 그가 사랑하시는 자 안에서 우리에게 거저 주시는 바 그의 은혜의 영광을 찬송하게 하려는 것이라

What the devil wants to do then is to get you to focus on your condition instead of your position in Christ. The condition you are facing could be financial lack or deteriorating health. The devil wants you to focus on your condition and forget your position—that you are the righteousness of God in Christ and that you are seated with Him in heavenly places at the Father’s right hand. (2 Corinthians 5:21, Ephesians 2:6) He wants you to forget that you are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. (Romans 8:17) 마귀는 당신이 예수안에 있다는 지위를 잊고, 대신 당신 자신의 상태에 초점을 맞추게 합니다. 당신의 상태는 경제적 궁핍이나 건강이 나빠지고 있는 것일수 있습니다. 마귀는 당신이 지위에 대한 생각대신에 당신의상태에 대해서 촛점을 맞추기를 원합니다.  당신의 지위는 예수님안에서 하나님의 의이고, 또한 예수님과 함께 하늘에서 하나님 오른쪽에 앉아 있습니다. 마귀는 당신이 예수님과 함께 한 상속자라는 것을 잊기를 원합니다.

2 Corinthians고린도후서 5:21 하나님이 죄를 알지도 못하신 이를 우리를 대신하여 죄로 삼으신 것은 우리로 하여금 그 안에서 하나님의 의가 되게 하려 하심이라

Ephesians에베소서 2:6 또 함께 일으키사 그리스도 예수 안에서 함께 하늘에 앉히시니

Romans 로마서8:17 자녀이면 또한 상속자 곧 하나님의 상속자요 그리스도와 함께 한 상속자니 우리가 그와 함께 영광을 받기 위하여 고난도 함께 받아야 할 것이니라

The devil knows that once you focus on your position in Christ, it will give you the power to change your condition and circumstances. John 15:5 says that you will bear “much fruit”. This means that when you pray against any lack, abundant supply will flow. When you pray for healing, sickness will leave. 마귀는 당신이 예수님안에 있는 지위에 초점을 맞추지 못하게 합니다. 왜냐하면 예수님안에 있는 지위를 통해서 당신은 주위의 현상과 상황을 바꿀수 있는 능력이 생기기 때문입니다. 요한복음 15장5절에는 당신이"열매를 많이" 맺는다고 했습니다. 그 뜻은 당신이 부족함에 대해서 기도를 하면 풍성함이 흘러넘치게 될것입니다. 당신이 치유를 위해서 기도하면 병은 떠나갈 것입니다. 

John 요한복음15:5 나는 포도나무요 너희는 가지라 그가 내 안에, 내가 그 안에 거하면 사람이 열매를 많이 맺나니 나를 떠나서는 너희가 아무 것도 할 수 없음이라

My friend, none of these things can happen by your own doing, but by His life which flows through you. Just as sap flowing through the branches of a vine will cause them to bring forth fruit, His life flowing through you will bring forth a bountiful harvest of provision, healing and miracles. You only need to remain conscious of who you are in Christ! 성도 여러분, 당신의 행위때문에 이런 기적이 일어나지 않습니다. 오직 예수님이 생명이 당신을 통해서 흘러나오면 생기게 됩니다. 수액이 나무를 통해서 가지로 흘러가면, 열매가 맺힙니다. 마찬가지로 예수님의 생명이 당신에게 흐르게 되면  공급과, 치유와 기적의  풍성한 수확을 하게될것입니다.  당신의 할일은 예수님안에서 당신이 누구인지 항상 기억하고 그안에 있는 것입니다.

Thought For The Day Remain conscious of who you are in Christ and you will bear much fruit. 여러분이 그리스도 안에 있는 사람들을 모두 알고 있으니, 여러분은 많은 열매를 맺게 될 것입니다.

Leviticus 2:11 No grain offering which you bring to the Lord shall be made with leaven, for you shall burn no leaven nor any honey in any offering to the Lord made by fire.

레위기 2:11 너희가 여호와께 드리는 모든 소제물에는 누룩을 넣지 말지니 너희가 누룩이나 꿀을 여호와께 화제로 드려사르지 못할지니라

Imagine yourself walking past the prodigal son sitting in the pigpen. (Luke 15:11–24) You look at him and see him salivating for the pigs’ food. Believing that it is good to show kindness, you give him money to buy food for himself. 당신이 돼지우리에 있는 탕자옆을 지나갔다고 상상해 보세요.  그 탕자가 돼지먹이를 보고 군침을 흘리는것을 보게 될것입니다. 그렇다면 그에게 선을 베푸는것이 좋다고 믿어서, 음식을 사먹으라고 돈을 주게 될것입니다.

Luke 누가복음15:11–24 또 이르시되 어떤 사람에게 두 아들이 있는데, 그 둘째가 아버지에게 말하되 아버지여 재산 중에서 내게 돌아올 분깃을 내게 주소서 하는지라 아버지가 그 살림을 각각 나눠 주었더니, 그 후 며칠이 안 되어 둘째 아들이 재물을 다 모아 가지고 먼 나라에 가 거기서 허랑방탕하여 그 재산을 낭비하더니, 다 없앤 후 그 나라에 크게 흉년이 들어 그가 비로소 궁핍한지라가서 그 나라 백성 중 한 사람에게 붙여 사니 그가 그를 들로 보내어 돼지를 치게 하였는데, 그가 돼지 먹는쥐엄 열매로 배를 채우고자 하되 주는 자가 없는지라.이에 스스로 돌이켜 이르되 내 아버지에게는 양식이 풍족한 품꾼이 얼마나 많은가 나는 여기서 주려 죽는구나내가 일어나 아버지께 가서 이르기를 아버지 내가 하늘과 아버지께 죄를 지었사오니, 지금부터는 아버지의아들이라 일컬음을 감당하지 못하겠나이다 나를 품꾼의 하나로 보소서 하리라 하고이에 일어나서 아버지께로 돌아가니라 아직도 거리가 먼데 아버지가 그를 보고 측은히 여겨 달려가 목을 안고 입을 맞추니, 아들이 이르되 아버지 내가 하늘과 아버지께 죄를 지었사오니 지금부터는 아버지의 아들이라 일컬음을 감당하지 못하겠나이다 하나아버지는 종들에게 이르되 제일 좋은 옷을 내어다가 입히고 손에 가락지를 끼우고 발에 신을 신기라.  그리고 살진 송아지를 끌어다가 잡으라 우리가 먹고 즐기자. 이 내 아들은 죽었다가 다시 살아났으며 내가 잃었다가 다시 얻었노라 하니 그들이 즐거워하더라

That is human kindness which says, “I am a Christian. I should be kind, good and forgiving.” Such human sweetness or kindness may be likened to honey. Interestingly, while we elevate it, God tells His people not to bring Him a grain offering with honey in it. 그런데 이것은 인본주의적 친절입니다. "나는 크리스쳔이야. 나는 친절하고, 선하고 용서를 해야만 돼"라고말하는것과 마찬가지 입니다.  그런 인본주의의 달콤함과 친철을 꿀과 연관해서 생각해 보세요. 흥미롭게도, 하나님은 그의 백성에게 소제를 할때 꿀을 넣지 말라고 하셨습니다.(소제: 곡식을 태우서 드리는 제사)

The grain offering speaks of Jesus’ life on earth. Not mixing honey in the grain offering speaks of how the compassion and goodness we see in Jesus during His earthly ministry were all divine. There was no “honey” of human goodness that is tainted with human weakness. 소제는 예수님의 이땅의 삶을 말해줍니다. 소제에 꿀을 섞지 말라는 것은, 예수님이 이땅에서 하신 신령한사역을,  우리가 열정과 선함으로 보지 말라는 것입니다. 인간의 연약함이 없는 "꿀"은 없습니다.

In retrospect, the worst thing one could do for the prodigal son was to give him money when he was in the pigpen. Not only would he not have gone home, but what the Lord was doing in his heart would also have been spoiled. This is what happens when we go by the goodness of our human hearts instead of the goodness of God in our hearts, which is directed by His love, wisdom and perfect timing. 다시 처음으로 돌아가서, 돼지우리에 있는 탕자에게 돈을 주는일은 가장 나쁜일이 됩니다. 왜냐하면 탕자는집으로 돌아가지 않을뿐더러, 하나님이 탕자의 마음을 통해서 하려고 하시는 일이 망치게 되는 것입니다. 이것이 바로 우리안에 있는 문제입니다. 하나님의 선함을 가지고 행하지 않고,  인간안에 있는 마음을 가지고선행을 하려고 하면 생길수 있는 일입니다. 하나님의 사랑과 지혜와 완벽한 때에 하시려고 하는 모든일을 방해하는 것입니다.

My friend, God does not want you to be moved by what you see but by His Spirit. There were many needy folks surrounding Jesus during His time on earth. But He did not heal every sick person around Him, feed every hungry stomach he passed or raise all who were dead. Isaiah 11:2–3 tells us that the Lord was not moved by what He saw or heard. He was moved only by the Spirit. 성도 여러분, 하나님은 당신이 눈에 보는것으로 판단해서 행하지말고, 성령님에 의해서 움직이기를 바라십니다. 예수님이 이땅에 계셨을때, 주위에 도움이 필요한 사람들이 많이 있었습니다. 그러나 예수님은 주위에있던  아픈사람을 모두 고치신것이 아닙니다. 주위에 배고픈 사람을 모두 먹이시지도 않았고, 죽은 사람을모두 살리지도 았습니다. 이사야 11장2-3절을 보면, 예수님은 눈에 보이는것이나 들은대로 움직이지 않으셨습니다. 오직 성령님에 의해서행하셨습니다.  

Isaiah 이사야11:2–3 그의 위에 여호와의 영 곧 지혜와 총명의 영이요 모략과 재능의 영이요 지식과 여호와를 경외하는 영이 강림하시리니그가 여호와를 경외함으로 즐거움을 삼을 것이며 그의 눈에 보이는 대로 심판하지 아니하며 그의 귀에 들리는 대로 판단하지 아니하며

You too have the Spirit in you. (1 Corinthians 3:16) Be moved by Him. Follow the peace that He puts within your spirit to do or refrain from doing something. That peace is the peace of God. Acting on that peace will cause God to be exalted, and His divine goodness and kindness to really be a blessing to you and others! 당신안에도 예수님과 마찬가지로 성령님이 계십니다. 성령을 따라 움직이세요. 성령님이 당신의 영안에 부어주시는 평강 따라서 행하기도 하고 금하기도 하세요. 그 평강이 바로 하나님의 평강입니다.  그 평강을 따라 행하는것이 하나님을 높이는 일입니다. 하나님의 거룩하신 선함과 인자하심이 진실로 당신과 다른사람에게 축복이 될것입니다!1 

Corinthians 고린도전서3:16 너희는 너희가 하나님의 성전인 것과 하나님의 성령이 너희 안에 계시는 것을 알지 못하느냐

Thought For The Day Don’t be moved by the honey of human kindness but by God’s Spirit. 인간의 친절의 꿀에 감동하지 마라. 그러나 신의 영에 의해 움직이지 말라

Luke 17:15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,

누가복음17:15 그 중의 한 사람이 자기가 나은 것을 보고 큰 소리로 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 돌아와

People who have a grateful heart are always praising God. You often hear them say, “God is good!” They know that God is the reason for every blessing they get. 감사하는 마음을 가진사람들은 항상 하나님을 찬양합니다.  그런사람들이 "좋으신 하나님!"이라고 말하는것을 종종 듣게 됩니다. 그런사람들은, 그들이 받은 모든축복의 근원이 하나님 이라고 알고 있습니다.

But there are those who look to God for blessings and when they get blessed, they just go on their merry way. Their hearts are captivated by the blessings instead of the One who has blessed them. 그러나 하나님으로 부터 축복을 구하고 받은 사람들중에, 그냥 그들이 하던대로 생활하는 사람들이 있습니다. 그들의 마음은 축복을 주신 그분이 이나라 축복���만 관심이 있습니다.

Jesus had an encounter with both these types of people when He walked into a village one day. Ten lepers cried out to Him, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” (Luke 17:13) Now, when you call out to Jesus for mercy, He always hears you. On another occasion, when two blind men cried out to Him, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” He took the time to give them their miracles. (Matthew 9:27–30) 예수님이 어떤 마을에 들어가서, 그런 행동을 하는 사람들을 만난적이 있습니다. 열명의 나병환자가 "예수선생님이여 우리를 불쌍히 여기소서"라고 외쳤습니다. 예수님께 자비를 구했을때, 주님은 응답해 주셨습니다.  다른 경우는, 두명의 맹인이 예수님께 "다윗의 자손이여 우리를 불쌍히 여기소서"라고 외쳤습니다. 그러자 예수님은 시간은 따로내서 그들을 고치는 기적을 베풀어주셨습니다.

Luke 누가복음17:13 소리를 높여 이르되 예수 선생님이여 우리를 불쌍히 여기소서 하거늘

Matthew마태복음 9:27–30 예수께서 거기에서 떠나가실새 두 맹인이 따라오며 소리 질러 이르되 다윗의 자손이여 우리를 불쌍히 여기소서 하더니예수께서 집에 들어가시매 맹인들이 그에게 나아오거늘 예수께서 이르시되 내가 능히 이 일 할 줄을 믿느냐대답하되 주여 그러하오이다 하니이에 예수께서 그들의 눈을 만지시며 이르시되 너희 믿음대로 되라 하시니그 눈들이 밝아진지라 예수께서 엄히 경고하시되 삼가 아무에게도 알리지 말라 하셨으나

So these 10 lepers cried out to Him for mercy. He stopped, looked at them and said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And “as they went, they were cleansed”. (Luke 17:14) But only one came back and fell at Jesus’ feet, giving Him thanks. Notice the very sad words of Jesus that followed: “Were there not 10 cleansed? But where are the nine?” (Luke 17:17) 그 열명의 나병환자에게는, 예수님이 멈춰서 바라보고,"제사장들에게 너희 몸을 보이라"라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그들은 제사장에게 가는 도중에 깨끗함을 받았습니다. 그러나 오직 한명만이 돌아와서 예수님앞에서 감사를 드렸습니다. 예수님이 무슨말씀을 하셨는지 주목하세요 "열 사람이 다 깨끗함을 받지 아니하였느냐 그아홉은 어디 있느냐"라고 말씀하셨습니다.

Luke누가복음 17:14 보시고 이르시되 가서 제사장들에게 너희 몸을 보이라 하셨더니 그들이 가다가 깨끗함을 받은지라

Luke 누가복음17:17 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 열 사람이 다 깨끗함을 받지 아니하였느냐 그 아홉은 어디 있느냐

The other nine obviously knew that it was Jesus who had cleansed them. Yet, they did not bother to go back and thank Him. My friend, let it be said of you that when the blessings come, you remember to give God the praise, glory and honor, and acknowledge that He is the source of every blessing in your life. 다른 아홉명도, 예수님이 그들을 깨끗하게 고치셨다는 것을 물론 알았습니다. 그렇지만 그들은 굳이 다시 예수님께 돌아와서 감사드리지 않았습니다. 성도 여러분, 축복이 당신에게 임하면, 하나님을 찬양하고, 존귀와영광을 드리는것을 잊지 마세요. 하나님의 당신의 삶속의 모든 축복의 근원임을 잊지 마세요.

Do you know that when the man came back to thank Jesus, he received the additional blessing of becoming whole? Jesus said to him, “Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.” (Luke 17:19, KJV) He was not just cleansed of leprosy, he got his missing fingers and toes back! 그중에 한사람이 예수님께 감사하려고 돌아왔을때, 더 큰 축복을 받은것을 기억하시나요? 예수님께서 "이르시되 일어나 가라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였느니라 (네가 완전하게 되었다)"라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그가 나병에서 치유를 받은것 뿐만 아니라, 없어진 손가락과 발가락도 다시 온전히 회복되었습니다!

Luke 누가복음17:19 그에게 이르시되 일어나 가라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였느니라 하시더라

My friend, when your heart is thankful toward God, you position yourself for even greater blessings! 성도 여러분, 당신의 마음이 하나님께 감사하고 느낄때, 더욱더 큰 축복을 받는 자리에 있게 됩니다!

Thought For The Day When you praise God and give Him thanks for His blessings, you position yourself for even greater blessings! 하나님을 찬양하시고, 하나님께 감사의 말씀을 전하시면, 여러분은 더욱 더 큰 축복을 받을 수 있습니다.

Matthew 6:33 …seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

마태복음6:33 그런즉 너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라

God doesn’t want you grabbing the newspaper first thing in the morning and reading all the bad news in the world. He knows that if you do that, your heart will be full of cares, anxieties and even fears. 하나님은 당신이 아침에 제일먼저 신문을 찾아서 세상의 나쁜소식을 읽는것은 원치 않으십니다. 만약 그렇게 하면, 당신의 마음은 걱정과 불안과 두려움으로 가득차게 될것입니다.

This happened to a mother who read in the newspaper that children from China studying in our local schools were becoming top students. She wrote to the press, voicing her concerns about the stiff competition her child would face from these students, even for the top jobs in Singapore in the future. 어떤 어머니가 중국에서 싱가포르로 유학와서 공부를 잘하게된 학생에 관한 신문기사를 읽고난 후에 생긴일입니다. 그녀는 이런 중국학생들과 자신의 자녀들이 경쟁을 해야되고 결국은 싱가포르의 좋은 직장도 경쟁이 심해져서 힘들어질것 이라고 신문에 편지를 했습니다.

When you are reading the newspapers, magazines, medical journals, economic reports, watching movies or surfing the Internet all the time, then you are getting your “nourishment” from these sources instead of God’s Word. Now, I am not against these things. But if you constantly feed only on earthly things which cannot satisfy, you will fill your heart and mind with cares and worries. 당신이 신문이나 잡지나, 의학기사나 경제보도를 읽거나, 영화를 보거나, 인터넷을 계속 볼때, 결국은 하나님이 말씀 대신에 이런것을 자양분으로 먹게되는 것입니다.  저는 이런것에 대해서 반대하는 것이 아닙니다. 그러나 계속해서 만족을 ���수없는 이런 세상것을 먹게 된다면, 결국은 당신의 마음속은 걱정과 근심으로 채워질 것입니다. 

Jesus doesn’t want you to end up worrying about your life—what you will eat, drink or wear—as these are the things that the Gentiles (people of the world) seek. He says that your heavenly Father knows very well that you need these things. (Matthew 6:31–32) 예수님은 당신이 삶에 대해서 걱정하는것을 원치 않으십니다. 무엇을 먹을까, 무엇을 마실까, 무엇을 입을까하는 생각은 다 이방인(세상 사람들)이 구하는 것입니다. 예수님은 "하늘 아버지께서 이 모든 것이 너희에게있어야 할 줄을 아시느니라"라고 말씀하셨습니다.

Matthew 마태복음6:31–32 그러므로 염려하여 이르기를 무엇을 먹을까 무엇을 마실까 무엇을 입을까 하지 말라이는 다 이방인들이 구하는 것이라 너희 하늘 아버지께서 이 모든 것이 너희에게 있어야 할 줄을 아시느니라

That is why He promises you that if you would seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, all these things that the world seeks after will be added to you. It will not just be given but added, which means greater in quantity and quality! 그래서 예수님은 만약 당신이 먼저  그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하면  모든것이 더하여질것 이라고 약속하셨습니다. 그것은 주어지는 것이 아니라 더하여 지는 것입니다. 즉 더 많고 더 좋은 양과 질이 더하여 진다는 것입니다.

If you are faced with lack, don’t pursue material goods. Pursue God your provider. If you are sick, don’t pursue the “cure”. Pursue God your healer. 만약 당신에게 부족한것이 있다면, 세상물질을 구하지 마세요.  당신에게 공급하시는 하나님을 구하세요. 만약 당신이 아프면 "치료 방법"을 구하지 마세요 . 당신의 치유자이신 하나님을 구하세요.

My friend, don’t grab the newspaper or call your friend first thing in the morning to talk about the latest bad news. Instead, grab your Bible and read all the good news God has for you for the day. And as you seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all the things that the world is running after will be added to you! 성도 여러분, 아침에 먼저 신문을 찾지말고, 친구에게 전화해서 나쁜소식을 이야기하지 마세요. 대신에 성경책을 찾고, 하나님이 오늘을 위해서 준비한 좋은소식을 읽으세요.  그리고 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하세요.  그러면 당신이 세상에서 구하던 모든것이 더하여 질것입니다!

Thought For The Day Pursue God and His righteousness, and all the things that the world seeks after will be added to you. 하나님과 그의 의로우심과 세상이 추구하는 모든 것이 여러분에게 더하여 주실 것입니다.

Isaiah 53:5 …and by His stripes we are healed.

이사야 53:5 그가 찔림은 우리의 허물 때문이요 그가 상함은 우리의 죄악 때문이라 그가 징계를 받으므로 우리는 평화를누리고 그가 채찍에 맞으므로 우리는 나음을 받았도다

Under Roman law in Bible times, a criminal was either scourged for a lesser crime and then set free, or crucified straightaway if guilty of a greater crime. But Jesus was both scourged and crucified. Pontius Pilate had hoped that after scourging Jesus and presenting His bloodied body to the people, they would be satisfied and willing to let Him go. But the people were not and demanded His crucifixion instead. 성서시대에 로마의 법은 죄질이 약하면 채찍에 맞거나, 아주 죄가 크면 곧장 십자가형을 받았습니다.그런데예수님은 채찍에도 맞고 십자가에도 달리셨습니다. 본디오 빌라도는 예수님이 채찍에 맞고 피투성이가된몸을 보여줘서, 사람들을 만족시키고, 그를 놓아주려고 했습니다. 그러나 사람들은 만족하지 않고 예수님을십자가에 매달라고 했습니다.

Don’t think for a moment that the people had power to inflict such suffering on Jesus. It was all part of God’s plan and the scourging was necessary for only by His stripes are we healed. 사람들이 예수님에게 그런  해를 끼칠 권세가 있다고 생각하지는 마세요. 이 모든것은 하나님의 계획의 일부분 이였습니다. 예수님이 채찍에 맞아서 우리가 나음았기 때문에, 채찍형은 필요했습니다.

The Roman whip used for scourging was made of leather straps embedded with glass, bone and metal hooks. With just one strike, the instrument would have been wrapped around Jesus’ body, causing the glass, bones and hooks to cut deep into His flesh. And as the whip was pulled back, the hooks would have stripped His flesh off, exposing muscle and bone. Indeed, the psalmist says, “They pierced My hands and My feet; I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me,” (Psalm 22:16–17) and “The plowers plowed on My back; they made their furrows long”. (Psalm 129:3) 로마병정이 쓰는 채직은 가죽채찍에 유리와, 뼈와 금속고리가 밖혀있었습니다. 채찍이 예수님의 몸을 감싸면, 유리와 뼈와 고리가 예수님의 살에 깊숙히 밖혔습니다. 그리고 채찍을 뺄때는 예수님의 살점이 떨어져나가서 근육과 뼈가 보이게 되었습니다.  그래서 시편에서는 "악한 무리가 나를 둘러 내 수족을 찔렀나이다. 내가 내 모든 뼈를 셀 수 있나이다 그들이 나를 주목하여 보고"라고 씌여 있습니다. 그리고 "밭 가는 자들이 내등을 갈아 그 고랑을 길게 지었도다"라고 적혀있습니다.

Psalm 시편22:16–17 개들이 나를 에워쌌으며 악한 무리가 나를 둘러 내 수족을 찔렀나이다 내가 내 모든 뼈를 셀 수 있나이다 그들이 나를 주목하여 보고

Psalm 시편129:3 밭 가는 자들이 내 등을 갈아 그 고랑을 길게 지었도다

Although 39 was the maximum number of times one could be whipped according to Jewish law, I believe that Jesus was whipped more times than that because the Romans, who were not likely to regard Jewish law, carried out the scourging. 유태인의 법에는, 채찍은 39대이상 때릴수가 없었습니다. 그러나 제가 생각하기는, 로마병정이 유태인의 법을 따를 이유가 없기때문에, 예수님을 더 많이 때렸을 것입니다.

Whichever the case, His back would have been reduced to a mass of bloody, mutilated flesh. That day, Jesus’ blood flowed freely from His body for your deliverance from every kind of disease and physical affliction. God allowed every one of those stripes to fall on His Son’s body so that your body need not be scourged with diseases. 어째던지, 예수님의 등은 피범벅이되고, 살이 다 찢기었습니다.  오늘날 당신의 모든 병과 육체적 고통을 구해주기 위해서, 예수님의 몸에 보혈이 흘러내렸습니다. 하나님은 모든채찍을 예수님이 대신 맞아서, 당신의몸은 병으로 부터오는 채찍을 맞아 않아도 되게하셨습니다.

My friend, if you are sick or suffering from some physical condition, know that Jesus took the scourging as full payment for you to be free of that condition. He bore those stripes so that, today, there is no sickness, no disease left for you to bear. By His stripes you have been healed! 성도여러분, 만약 당신이 병들거나, 육체의 문제로 고통스러워 하고 있다면, 예수님이 당신을 병에서 해방시키위헤서 채짹에 맞았다는 것을 기억하세요. 예수님이 채찍을 대신 견디셨기 때문에, 당신이  견뎌낼 아픔이나 병은 더이상 남아있지 않습니다. 예수님이 채찍에 맞아서, 당신은 나음을 얻었습니다!  

Thought For The Day Jesus bore the terrible scourging to purchase for you deliverance from every kind of disease. 예수께서는 온갖 병을 고쳐 주시려고 온갖 병을 고쳐 주셨다.

Matthew 8:13 …as you have believed, so let it be done for you…

마태복음8:13 예수께서 백부장에게 이르시되 가라 네 믿은 대로 될지어다 하시니 그 즉시 하인이 나으니라

You may have heard some people say, “How can I believe it when I don’t see it? If I can only see it or feel it, I may just believe that something is happening!” "당장 이루어진 것이 보이지않는데, 어떻게 믿어요?  내가 보고 느낄수 있으면,  뭔가 이루어지고 있다고 믿을수 있을 거예요!"라고 사람들이 말합니다.

The woman with the issue of blood who came to Jesus could have felt the same way. For 12 long years, she had gone from one doctor to another, trying every conceivable cure they could offer. She not only grew worse, but ended up losing all her money to those doctors and their “cures”. 혈루병이 있는 여인도 마찬가지로 생각했을 것입니다. 열두해동안 여러의사를 만나서 치료를 위해서 모든방법을 써보았을 것입니다. 그런데 증상은 더 나빠지고, 의사들이 치료를 한다고 해서 재산을 다 허비했습니다.

Then, something happened to her when “she heard about Jesus”. (Mark 5:27) She started believing that He could and would heal her to the extent that she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” (Mark 5:28) Acting on her belief, she made her way to Jesus and touched His garment. Immediately, her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was healed of that affliction. Jesus, her true physician, also pronounced her healed. 그런데 예수님에 대한 이야기듣고 그녀에게 변화가 생겼습니다. 그녀는 예수님이 고칠수 있다고 믿었을 뿐만아니라,  "내가 그의 옷에만 손을 대어도 구원을 받으리라"라고 스스로에게 고백했습니다. 드디어 믿음대로 행하기 위해서, 예수님에게로 가서 그옷을 손으로 만졌습니다.그 순간, 그녀의 피흘림이 멈췄습니다. 그리고 병이 나았다는것을 ��으로 느낄수 있었습니다. 예수님이 진짜의사였고, 그녀가 나았다고 선포하셨습니다.

Mark 마가복음5:28 이는 내가 그의 옷에만 손을 대어도 구원을 받으리라 생각함일러라

Beloved, God wants you to know that when you believe Him, you will see your miracle. What you believe Him for, you will receive. 사랑하는 성도여러분, 하나님을 믿으면 당신이 기적을 응답받을수 있다는 사실을, 하나님은 당신이 알기를원하십니다. 하나님이 무엇을 할수있다고 믿으면, 당신이 응답받을 것입니다. When a church member lost her wallet at a swimming pool, she prayed together with her husband, declaring their belief that God would restore the loss. One day later, not at the swimming pool but at her feet in the car, she found her wallet! She simply believed that God would restore her loss and she saw the restoration. 우리교회 여자교인 한분이 수영장에서 지갑을 잃어버렸습니다. 그런데 그녀는 남편과 함께 하나님이 그것을 찾아주실것이라고 믿고 기도하고 선포했습니다. 하루가 지나서, 수영장이 아닌 자동차 바닥에서 그 지갑을 발견했습니다! 그녀는 단지 하나님이 잃어버린것을 찾아주실것이라고 믿었고, 그렇게 되는것을 보게되었습니다.

In another case, a lady who had skin cancer wore long sleeves all the time to conceal her condition from others. During one of our church camps, she went forward for prayer, believing God for her healing. After one of our pastors, Pastor Henry, prayed for her, she went back to her room, rolled up her sleeves and saw that all the cancerous scarring on her arms had disappeared! Her doctor later confirmed that she had been cured of skin cancer. She believed God for healing and saw it. 다른 간증은, 피부암이 있었서 항상 긴옷을 입고, 다른사람들이 피부를 볼수 없도록 감춘 여자가 있었습니다. 우리교회의 수련회에 참석해서, 그녀는 하나님이 고쳐주실것을 믿고, 기도를 부탁하려 앞에 나갔습니다.  우리 목사중에 한분인 헨리목사가 그녀를 위해서 기도한후에, 그녀가 자기방으로 돌아가서 소매를 접어올렸을때, 팔뚝에 있었던 암의 상처가 다 없어진것을 보았습니다! 나중에 그녀의 주치의는 피부암에서 다나았다고, 그녀에게 확인해 주었습니다. 그녀는 하나님이 고쳐주실 것이라고 믿고, 응답이 이루어지는 것을보았습니다.  

The world says, “Unless I can see it or feel it, I will not believe it.” But God says, “If you will believe it, you will feel it. Indeed, if you will believe it, you will see it!” 세상 사람들은 "내가 보기전에는 믿을수 없어."라고 말합니다. 그러나 하나님은 "니가 믿으면, 몸소 느끼게될것이다.  진실로 니가 믿으면, 그것이 이루어진는 것을 볼것이다!"라고 말씀하십니다.

Matthew 6:28–29 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

마태복음 6:28–29 또 너희가 어찌 의복을 위하여 염려하느냐 들의 백합화가 어떻게 자라는가 생각하여 보라 수고도 아니하고길쌈도 아니하느니라그러나 내가 너희에게 말하노니 솔로몬의 모든 영광으로도 입은 것이 이 꽃 하나만 같지 못하였느니

You may think that you must work very hard to provide for yourself and get ahead in life. But God wants you to consider the lilies of the field—they do nothing. They toil not, spin not and struggle not. Yet, they grow and are clothed by God while simply resting and basking in the sunshine of God’s love! And when God clothes them, they look even more glorious than King Solomon, the richest king who ever lived. 당신은 열심히 일해야 내가 필요한것을 얻을수 있고, 남들보다 앞서갈수 있다고 생각합니다. 그러나 하나님은 당신이 들의 백합화를 생각하기 원하십니다. 백합화는 아무것도 않합니다. 수고하지도 않고 실을짜지도않고 투쟁하지도 않습니다. 그러나 하나님의 사랑의 햇빛을 받으면서 가만히 안식하는 가운데서, 하나님이입혀주시고, 자라납니다.

Like the lilies of the field, God wants you to let Him take care of providing for your material needs, instead of you striving to do it yourself. When you let go and let Him, you will see Him bless you supernaturally, abundantly and generously! 들의 백합화와 같이, 하나님은 당신이 모든것을 자신의 힘으로 하려고 하지 말고, 하나님이  돌보시도록 맏기기 원하십니다. 당신이 하나님에게 맏기면, 하나님의 축복이 초차연적으로, 넘치고 풍성하게 임하는것을보게 될것입니다!

This is what happened to one of our church members who had been looking for a job. Initially, he received only two calls for interviews after sending out 12 résumés. Refusing to be discouraged, he believed that God wanted to bless him not just with a job, but with a position of influence too. 저희 교회의 교인 한분이 직장을 구하고 있었습니다.  이력서를 12군데 냈는데, 두군데에서만 연락이 왔습니다. 낙담하지 않고, 하나님이 그저 먹고사는 직장이 아니고 영향력을 끼치는 직분을 주기를 원한다고 믿었습니다.

God was faithful. This church member soon became the business manager of an engineering company even though he had no engineering background. He was offered a very attractive remuneration package and within his first week on the job, was asked to quote on two projects. He knew that this was God’s doing because it was difficult enough just to secure an appointment with contract managers to discuss projects, let alone be asked to quote on not one but two projects. Before long, he was offered the position to run the entire Singapore subsidiary with only one other business development manager. He was then only 25 years old! 하나님은 신실하십니다. 그는 엔진니어링 회사에서 기술도 전혀없는데, 사업 메네저가 되었습니다. 그는 첫주에 아주 좋은 대우를 받게 되었고, 두개의 프로젝트에서 견적을 제출하라는 연락을 받았습니다. 그는 이것이 하나님의 하시는줄 알았습니다. 왜냐하면 프로젝트를 상담하기 위해서 수주 당담자와 만날 예약을 하는일도 힘든것인데, 동시에 두곳에서 프로젝트 견적을 내라고 요청이 온것입니다. 얼마 지나지 않아서, 그는다른 비지니스 메네저와 함께 싱가포르 지사를 운영하는 사장되었습니다.  그때 그의 나이가 겨우 25살 이였습니다! 

My friend, God can do for you what He did for this person. Just believe that if God clothes the lilies and grass of the field, which are here today and gone tomorrow, how much more will He clothe you, His eternal and precious child, with beauty and favor! All He asks is that you cease from your striving, allow Him to take over and just flow with Him! 성도여러분, 이분에게 일어난일을 하나님이 당신에게도 하실수 있습니다. 하나님이 들에 있는 백합화와 모든풀을 오늘도 그리고 내일도 입히시면, 하나님의 영원히 소중한 자녀인 당신을 아름다움과 은총으로 입히시지 않겠어요? 하나님은 여러분이 애쓰는것을 멈추고, 다 하나님께 맏기고 그냥 하나님께 공급받고 동행하기를 원하십니다!

Thought For The Day When you let go and let God, you will see Him bless you supernaturally, abundantly and generously! 네가 하나님을 버리고, 하나님께 허락을 받게 되면, 그가 너에게 복을 베풀어 주고, 풍성하고 너그러운 사람이 될 것이다.

Jesus Overpaid Our Debt!

May 13 Jesus Overpaid Our Debt!             예수님은 우리의 빚을 넘치게 초과로 갚고도 남으셨습니다.

Hebrews 10:12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God,

히브리서 10:12 오직 그리스도는 죄를 위하여 한 영원한 제사를 드리시고 하나님 우편에 앉으사

Do you know that we once owed God a huge debt? No, it was not a money debt, it was a sin debt. We owed God a sin debt which we could never pay. But God so loved us that He came up with a plan to pay the debt—He gave us His Son to die on the cross for our sins. Jesus was without sin. So when He went to the cross as punishment for our sins, He paid for us a debt He did not owe. 당신은 우리가 하나님께 큰 빚을 진것을 아시지요?  그것은 돈의 빚이 아니라 죄의 빚입니다. 우리는 하나님께 갚을수 없는 죄값의 빚을 졌습니다. 그러나 하나님은 우리를 사랑해서 우리의 빚을 해결할 대책을 마련하셨습니다. 독생자 아들이 우리죄를 대신해서 십자가에서 죽게 내주었습니다.  예수님은 죄가 없으셨습니다. 그래서 예수님이 십자가에 우리의 죄에 대한 벌을 받았을때, 하나님께 아무빚도 없는 예수님이 우리의 빚을값아 주셨습니다.

My friend, the reality is that our sin debt has been more than paid in full. In fact, Jesus overpaid it! Jesus’ sacrifice was an overpayment because it was not just a good man, revered for his saintly qualities and good character, who died for us. It was the Son of the living God, the Creator of the universe, the perfect Man, who died for us! 성도 여러분, 우리의 죄의 빚은 다 갚아진것 이상입니다. 예수님은 넘치게 갚고도 남으셨습니다! 예수님의희생은 충분하고 넘치십니다. 왜냐하면 예수님은 의인일 뿐만 아니라, 성인의 품격과 좋은 성격으로 존경을받았습니다. 바로 그분이 우리를 위해서 죽으셨습니다. 살아계신 하나님 아버지의 아들이고, 우주를 창조하셨고, 완저한 사람이였습니다. 바로 그분이 우리를 위해서 죽으셨습니다!

Because Jesus is God, His sacrifice is greater than the sacrifices of all good men—past, present and future—put together. His sacrifice avails for all who lived in the past, all who are currently alive and all who will live in the future. And His one sacrifice forever took away all our sins. 예수님은 삼위일체 하나님입니다. 예수님의 희생은 모든 의인의 희생보다 비교할수 없이 어마하게 큽니다. 예수님은 과거와 현재와 미래의 모든 빚을 갚고도 남습니다. 예수님은  모든 과거에 살았던 사람과 현재에살고있는 사람과 미래에 살 사람들 전부를 위해서 희생하셨습니다. 예수님의 한번의 희생은 우리의 모든죄를 영원히 갚아주신것 입니다.

Jesus’ sacrifice was also an overpayment because His blood is of far more value to God than the blood of bulls and goats used in the past to atone for the sins of the Israelites. His blood is the blood of God Himself, not of animals. Because His blood is eternal, His blood cleanses us forever, so we have eternal forgiveness! 예수님의 피는, 이스라엘이 예전에 속죄를 위해서 바친 황소와 염소의 피와 비교할수도 없고 하나님께는 엄청난 가치가 있는 것입니다. 그래서 예수님의 희생은 넘치고 초과로 우리의 죄값을 갚아주신 것입니다. 예수님의 피는 희생동물의 피가 아니고 하나님의 피입니다. 예수님의 피가 영원하기 때문에, 예수님의 피는 우리를 영원히 씻어주시고, 영원히 용서해 주십니다.

My friend, the next time you are mindful of a bad deed, remember that Jesus, your sacrifice for sins, not only paid 100 per cent for your sin, but His sacrifice was also an overpayment. You can therefore truly and completely rest in the presence of God, knowing that He is fully satisfied and completely at rest concerning you. He is not going to find some sin you had committed that Jesus’ blood failed to cover. 성도여러분, 다음번에 당신이 나쁜행동에 정신이 팔리면, 당신대신 희생하신 예수님을 기억하세요. 당신의죄값을 100퍼센트 지불하신것 뿐만아니라. 다 값을 치르고도 넘치게 초과로 지불했습니다.  그러므로 당신은 진실로 온전히 하나님앞에서 안식할수 있습니다. 하나님은 당신을 만족하시고, 당신을 생각을 하면 온전히 안식하십니다. 예수님의 피가 당신을 온전히 다 덮혀주셔서, 하나님은 당신에게서 죄를 하나도 발견하실수가 없습니다.

Beloved, God can righteously give you His blessings and you can expect to receive them because Jesus overpaid your debt! 사랑하는 성도 여러분, 하나님은 축복을 당연히 주셨고, 당신이 그것을 받기를 원하십니다. 왜냐하면 예수님이 당신의 죄의 빚을 넘치고 초과되게 갚으셨기 때문입니다. 

Thought For The Day Because Jesus overpaid your debt, you can truly and completely rest in the presence of God. 예수께서 여러분의 빚을 갚으시기 때문에, 여러분은 진정으로 하나님 앞에서 진정하시고 완전하게 쉬실 수 있습니다.
