WANTED CONNECTIONS

friday ⎯ ⎯ what if you’d done what you were thinking

✘ my muse ⎯ ian honestly always painting them and sometimes it’s literally painting on them. sessions have turned into sex more often than not now. she could swear she’s seen every part of this person, but then she’s always discovering new things.

✘ the sibling ⎯ hadley not literally a sibling, but they might as well be. they grew up together and spent a lot of time looking after each other. honestly it’s usually always them against the world.

✘ knows their order ⎯ daisy they’re a bit more than a regular and she can’t help but notice she’s keeping track of more and more things about this person. “are they looking sad today?” “they seem tired, i’ll slip in an extra shot of espresso on me.”

✘ fwb ⎯ poppy they both like sex and they’re both single. they know each other so they’re not chancing it with one night’s at a club. no strings. at least that’s what they keep telling themselves. recently she’s been starting to have feelings for them, but with every other relationship in her life, she ignores those feelings.

✘ the idol ⎯ eden someone in the detective department that she takes orders from without question. she wants to be like them, but doesn’t believe she’ll ever be that good even if she doesn’t admit that out loud.

✘ controller buds ⎯ ian they play video games together every friday night into the early hours of the morning.

jeremy ⎯ ⎯ are you running from something

✘ force buddy ⎯ eden the first person he became friends with when he became a detective. one of the few that actually know he has a past with the fbi. he believes a lot of people have his back, but he knows they’ll be the first person. they also have his front too, often times watching out for him doing something stupid.

✘ snuggle buddies ⎯ september they seem like they invented pillow talk. they have sex, sure, but this has turned into more than that. another of the few that know about his past, his fears, his dreams. he finds them so easy to talk to.

✘ drinking companion ⎯ open drink together whenever it’s been specifically a rough week. could be work buddies or otherwise.

aurelie ⎯ ⎯ where do you find peace

✘ on stage ⎯ oliver met while acting in the same play/musical and they hit it off right away. honestly rumors rose that they were probably dating, but in truth they’re more like siblings. they have so many inside jokes and get distracted so easily with each other.

✘ the grounder ⎯ hadley someone who helps aurelie from being too optimistic because honestly she needs it. never mean, but not afraid to tell her when her expectations are too high.

hercules ⎯ ⎯ don’t seem a miracle at all

✘ childhood friend ⎯ mia basically what this says. grew up together and got into shit together.

✘ bar bud ⎯ open co-worker, but also someone he hangs out with outside work. probably helps him from getting too crazy, but also learns to live a little from him.

✘ old flame ⎯ jyn slept with each other a long time ago, which lead to more sleeping together, which lead to dating. they parted on good terms, but he’d be lying if he said he didn’t still love her.

michael ⎯ ⎯ it’s a maze of bad habits

✘ a million night stand ⎯ siobhan he’d had a lot of one nighters in his life, but they were never just a one night to him. and they literally didn’t stay just a one night stand. they keep sleeping together and not just because they’re good at sex, but because they connect so well. he’s terrified because he keeps opening up and he doesn’t know how long until they’re pushed away.

✘ best friend ⎯ natalia keeps him grounded. keeps him together. and probably kept him alive a couple times. he honestly has no idea where he’d be without them and one of the few he knows will stick around for all his bullshit.

naomi ⎯ ⎯ everyday is a gift

✘ casuals ⎯ thomas they slept together and it worked out really well so they keep sleeping together. they could probably be considered friends with benefits, but honestly at this point they’re really only having sex with comfortable small talk.

✘ work gossips ⎯ open not exactly terrible gossips, but they definitely share a lot of similar opinions on various co-workers and can share looks across the room and know what they mean.

mateo ⎯ ⎯ you came here with nothing

✘ law buddies ⎯ open went to school together, roomed together, took classes together. they’ve gone separate ways since one/both graduated, but they still keep in contact.

✘ might as well be dating ⎯ daisy they’re sleeping together all the time, pretty much going on dates, but they just haven’t made it official or anything yet. maybe they’re just too afraid to ruin a good thing.

✘ neighbors ⎯ open they live next to each other and have ended up being friends. they have each others keys for emergencies or post-drunken bar crawls.

ethan ⎯ ⎯ when i am most afraid

✘ mystery regular ⎯ zara they come into his club all the time and it honestly says a lot that he’s noticed. he’s been trying to figure out their regular drink so he can get them some on the house, but they don’t seem to have one.

✘ one night stand ⎯ alana they had a one night stand and it stayed that way until recently they bumped into each other and re-connected.

✘ close friend ⎯ open they’ve been friends since ethan moved into the city and they probably judge him for being a sex addict and all his bullshit.
