Somtimes I remember how long it’s been.

The last time I saw you was 2015. When you met my family. And I kissed you for the last time. Someone yelled “get a room!” from a passing car.

You told me you didn’t hate me.

What street was that? Brooklyn…I don’t remember. There was a hat store near by. The kind of hat you liked. You liked hats. I would bet you still do.

It’s been 4 years (?) since last contact. 2019. I was in the city. You had your read receipts on. I called you on it.

Then…nothing.

I think you’re married now. Because it’s been many years. 10? 12? I’ve lost track. I hope you’re happy. I really do. I’m happy. You deserve to be so happy.
