Born from a desire to create together in spite of circumstance, 11 international filmmakers collaborated virtually to build a statement of fear, persistence and hope. “We Shall Not Return” makes a case for a better tomorrow, one that works for all of humanity, not just the few.

The film started out as a singular, deeply personal exploration of fear for our collective future, and a reaction to the idea of ‘returning to normal’. It became a testament to the will of creativity. A beautiful collaboration between a group of filmmakers across Canada and the UK, executed whilst working remotely, in isolation and observing regional lockdown rules during Covid-19.

We shall not return, we shall only move forwards.

Deloitte | CyberSphere from Tendril on Vimeo.

Tendril created a series of interactive films for Deloitte to showcase their CypherSphere product, a service that offers protection against cyber threats.The experience puts you in the shoes of an individual who is experiencing a cyberattack, then walks you through the solutions and integrations that would resolve and proactively protect against future attacks. There were five scenario walkthroughs: from a simple phishing scam to a more complex multi-pronged approach. 

Visually, the biggest challenge was making the “invisible” visible. Our visual language needed to be faithful to the complex mechanisms at work, while balancing design and UX best practices. The result was an impressive elevation of the product branding, intersected with animated and three-dimensional visual metaphors that guides the viewer from uncertainty to resolution. 

The output was integrated into a series of interactive touchscreens for Deloitte at the RSA Conference. Its seamlessness and clarity made a lovely invitation for anyone to learn more about staying safe—perfect for a sector that’s as dense and lacking in universal literacy as cybersecurity.

It is a wide festival that covers all the branches of the motion design industry. During three full days, you can see conferences, expositions, workshops, audiovisual concerts and more !

Each year, they ask a motion designer to create the visual identity of the edition. Which means create the trailer, design the main branding of the festival, and a bunch of other visuals.

I had the opportunity to design the 2023 edition's identity.

We deployed a mix of live-action and 3D animation to demonstrate the strength of the Bounce Case, capturing CASETiFY’s expertise in action with a behind-the-scenes look at what makes the case innovative. The video is grounded in CASETiFY’s professional and quality work, while still embodying the brand’s colourful and energetic personality.
