Do you think for a while after his passing, Levi's insomnia got worse? After all those late nights, night caps, eventually climbing into bed together and getting a few hours. This settled into something occasional until it was a habit. Expected. Anticipated. The span of time after him immediately losing his arm and Levi doting, taking it upon himself to change the dressing. The pain killers knocking him out, and his even breathing helped Levi to sleep, too.

The first few nights he was restless. Lonesome, but he couldn't bring himself to admit it, not right away. Weeks of torment, his body finally started to give into exhaustion, and he began to dream of him. Would he resist sleep as much as he could? How long before he gave in and accepted the visits?

Uri having an extensive skincare routine. He sits at his vanity every night and morning and speaks affirmations at his reflection. He would wear light makeup and keep up with his hands. He has very pretty hands, dainty and not a cuticle in sight. He keeps a clear coat polish as a protective layer on his nails, and sometimes when he's feeling flirty, he will do a very subtle soft pink.

When Kenny spends the night, his favorite thing is to lay in bed, chin resting on his folded arms at the foot of the bed, gazing lazily at Uri who is perched atop a plush cushion upon a sturdy wooden chair at his vanity. It's all lit up and Uri is in a silk robe loosely tied, a shoulder peeking out as he massages serums and creams into his face, neck, chest and hands. Kenny is so fucking smitten it HURTS.

He gets into it, eventually. It starts as Uri rubbing off the access on his hands into Kenny's crumpled and protesting face. Eventually Uri coaxes him into letting him give him a spa day. Kenny won't go out of his way to do it, too many steps, he'd fuck it up on his own, but he will sit still after a shower and let Uri do whatever the fuck he wants to. Kenny says it's doing nothing, but he is secretly impressed when he feels some of his fine lines fading.

It’s taking everything in me not to yell at jerma through the screen while he plays sorcery for not using the rewind button because the fact that you, the player, can rewind while also being able to remember the outcomes of other paths is integral to what this story is trying to achieve. The narrative is a self-symbolic system embodying agency and consequence and that point can’t be made without utilizing the rewind button! That’s why the game constantly reminds you that “No decision is permanent, use the rewind button to go back!”

Breaking my silence… I do not like the idea of armin being gay because of the stereotypes that contributes to. I think men can be feminine and submissive while also being straight.

ALSO people that think kenuri is just jearmin in a different font are people that boil down these ships to their character design because appearance is the ONLY thing these two ships share. Their dynamics are completely different imo.

Maybe this is projection, but at this point I dew naught care. I solidly affirm that the reason the MP think so lowly of the SC is in that more NT people flock to the Military Police, and unofficially the Survey Corp has become a safe haven for the neurodivergent.

Think of Mike's quiet stoicism and sniffing, Levi eccentric child of abuse, Erwin autistic man Smith. Hange -gestures wildly at them-

I could go on and on, but I need to wrangle in my thoughts. Just some food for thought. They are frowned upon and looked at as unadjusted members of society and only gain praise for when their actions directly contribute to some metric the rest of their society deems a Good Job Effort and that just speaks to me on how people view ND people based on how well they can perform for them otherwise they are off-putting and undesirable.

Kenuri first time but plot twist: they are both virgins and they think the other isn't.

Uri thinks Kenny is acting dense on purpose to make him feel better about his situation. Kenny thinks Uri is playing up his innocence so he can make him feel good about deflowering him. Uri is the one to break the ice.

"Um...Kenny. I've never done this before. I don't know what I'm doing. The books I read...um...they only go so much into detail and well....I'm not a woman so..."

"Well, shit. I...er...I don't know what the fuck I'm doing either."

Uri bursts out laughing.

"Well, I'm sure we can figure it out!"

And a one Uri Reiss drops his robes, letting them pool around his waist and Kenny just 🤯

"May I?" Uri asks and Kenny just nods aggressively and lets Uri undress him.

It's awkward but they just keep talking. Uri's laughter is contagious. At one point he sends Kenny to fetch one of his steamy romance books and they page through it for inspiration. Kenny has enough and just chucks the book across the room and pulls a surprised Uri into his arms. Uri settles into the embrace. They kiss, talk more and figure things out one way or another.

"Next time will be better. And the next, and the next."

To which Kenny replies unable to mask the giddiness of his tone "The next?"

"And the next, and the next. Was I not clear?"

Kenny is rolling away to avoid facing Uri's gaze, Uri chasing him down. He shall be the big spoon tonight.

post canon Levi amuses himself by telling all the kids around their new settlement wildly different and fundamentally conflicting stories about what happened to his face, and then watching them put their dumb little heads together to try and figure out which one is true.

(one of the first stories they dismissed was "I rigged a bomb inside a dirty monkey man's gut and he was stupid enough to blow us both up" because that just seems a bit ridiculous. the running theory is a tie between "titan smacked me through a window and my face got cut up" and "this eye has actually never worked and I've been drawing the scars on every morning for thirty years to look more intimidating")

Any headcanons of Kenuri? (If u have its alr if u dont)

Oh em gee I’ve never done anything like this before… I feel like the yams really neglected to properly explore the fact that Kenny, at one point, understood that Uri has an expiration date. I feel like when and how Kenny found out would have surely changed their entire dynamic not to mention Kenny’s purpose. It’s almost like Kenny was ‘awakened’ twice: once when he got caught by Uri’s Titian and again when he discovered the terms of Uri’s fate. I have a headcannon that they discussed Uri’s passing (not the fact that memories or the founding is passed on or anything) before the scene we saw by the lake and Kenny distanced himself from Uri for a little while after finding out only to come crawling back… refusing to talk about it in depth once he did… sorta just making light of it/brushing it off whenever Uri asked him if it was something he wanted to talk about more. I think Kenny would have found that to be the easiest way to deal.

The other Ackermans might have an inkling that their ‘host’ isn’t long for this world but they never had to reconcile with a set expiration date and unfortunately I’m a sucker for angst…

I also love how different fic authors interpret the effect of the founding on Uri’s autonomy. Does it just keep Uri from doing basic things like activating the rumbling, enlightening the people, and stopping the Titians outside the walls? Or does it become Uri and make him the man he is? I have a headcannon that Uri is pretty much entirely different in character compared to who he was before inheriting the founding… not a husk because I don’t like the connotation… just different? but I would love to know what Kenny thinks LOL. Not that I think o Kenny would care… I just think the wonder would’ve crossed Kenny’s mind at some point though.

I’ve said too much I’m so sorry I’ve never gotten one of these lil question things before but that is another thing I love about this ship!! The idea of fate and autonomy! They both have to grapple with the idea of the Ackerbond and Fritz’ Vow even though the parameters (and/or legitimacy) for both is a little hazy.

… erm lighter HCs:

-Even omnipotent Uri can’t cook for shit.

-After Kenny abandons Levi he asks Uri to keep an eye on Levi by looking through eldians Levi interacts with.

-Kenny can read but never well enough to teach Levi so sometimes Uri reads to Kenny.

-Uri could keep his relations with Kenny a complete secret (founding mind powers loll) but Rod knows and isn’t a fan. Uri thinks Rod’s pestering about being so close to a man like Kenny makes his relationship with Kenny feel more real.

Please talk to me about them god I love them so much there’s so much more I could and I am sure there are so many aspects to their dynamic I’ve never even considered.
