"google is your friend" it really isn't any more though is it. acknowledge it. it's not 1999 any more. you mean that searching is easy and free but you do not mean that google is your friend

heres my contribution to the knight is Dess theory: someone is singing in the Black Knife
and this is not unprecedented!! something that i never hear people talk about is the fact that Mettaton also sings in Death By Glamor, and we KNOW its him because weve literally heard his singing voice in Oh! One True Love
now granted im not a music guy here, but we can hear the vibrato in this main melody that, combined with the words that appear on screen, make it very easy to deduce that this is Mettatons voice.
so in Death By Glamor we hear this same instrument again, and while its more difficult to recognize initially due to the lack of lyrics provided, it IS the same instrument and its holding the main melody; so its not a crazy reach to suggest this is Mettaton singing here as well
which makes sense right? this is METTATON, he wants to be a star! of course hes going to sing in his own battle theme. Mettaton Undertale walked so Raphael BG3 could run.
Now. lets take a listen to Raise Up Your Bat, a song that we can easily assume was either written by Dess herself, or was at minimum one of her favorite songs
once again we get lyrics accompanying this in game, and even a little vibrato for funsies! something i noticed while playing is that its hard to tell whats the guitar and whats the vocals on this track, simply given that they follow the same melody. but at the end of this clip theres that little guitar riff, and that is a slightly different sound than the previous vocals
okay so 1:30 into Black Knife we get a new lead, something players will usually only hear on their second attempt at the knight. the whole second half of this song is somewhat like a reward for players who try again after the initial scripted loss
this is a far more emotional refrain of this songs main motif. this section bursts out of nowhere and is intense in a way no other track even gets close to. you can listen to the rest of this song in full and come back, this part kicks in hard. the vibrato, the key change, it commands more attention than anything else.
ive also seen evidence that there are traces of the Lost Girl leitmotif in Black Knife, but it doesnt quite line up. almost as if its been warped or twisted, or maybe trying to mimic the original motif.
so whats my point here? idk, i just think itd be rad as hell for known punk Dess to be wailing along to her battle theme in her first debut, desperate to be heard and seen, and swag enough to kick ass doing it.
also i need you to look me in the eyes and tell me you think Carol is stunting on these teenagers like this for no reason lmao

reblogging this every time i see that stupid argument somewhere yet again :)
"the player gets to decide the pronouns for frisk/chara/kris" truthers: does anyone have canon evidence that this is the case? not the LACK of evidence for either case. the EVIDENCE. because it sure looks to me that all three utdr humans use one flavor of pronoun and there is zero indication in either game that you're expected to use different ones.
