#004.5 - As Charmander begin to mature, their orange scales deepen in color and a singular horn begins to grow. They are extremely protective of the flame on the tip of its tail, which is said to be a measure of their life force. Though more powerful, they typically retain their pleasant temperament until the evolution is complete.

#005.5 - A healthy Charmeleon will begin to sprout wings after its internal flame has reached a certain temperature. The newly formed wings are too small and weak to lift them off the ground, and typically cannot be used for flight until the Charmeleon has fully evolved. As the Pokemon grow, the single horn they had will begin to split into two. When they finally have two fully grown horns, they feel a great sense of pride, bolstering their firepower and arrogant attitude.

#006 Mega - Charizard may mega evolve at any time as long as their trainers are in possession of both the Key Stone and Charizardite - as well as a strong bond with the Pokemon. Charizard has the rare ability to mega evolve into two different mega evolutions depending on the mega stone they holding. When exposed to Charizardite X, the adrenaline produced during the evolution process grants Charizard X a considerable physical boost equal to the strength and durability of a dragon type Pokemon; however, the extreme exertion is only temporary. During this time, the fire burning inside Charizard X becomes so hot and powerful that it constantly surges from its mouth. When exposed to Charizardite Y, Charizard Y gains an elongated, sleek appearance, which aids in their flying prowess and allows them to reach incredible heights. A boost in Special Attack keeps their fire burning hotter than ever.

#001.5 - Bulbasaur live in pristine meadows and forests. When a Bulbasaur is born, their mother will immediately plant one of her own seeds on the Pokemon’s fertile back. The seed will slowly grow larger until it sprouts as the recognizable bulb; this bulb grows steadily larger the Bulbasaur’s body grows, and provides nutrients through photosynthesis. As the Pokemon ages, their well being becomes directly related to the health of their bulb, and they spend a lot of time basking in sunlight to keep the bulb well-nourished. As Bulbasaur age, the bulb grows heavy and eventually opens to reveal a large flower bud inside.

#002.5 - The added weight of the growing bud on Ivysaur’s back causes them to spend a lot of time foraging for food and absorbing sunlight in an effort to bulk up and support the bud as it blooms into a large flower. The bulb grows so large that these Pokemon lose their ability to stand on their hind legs. Though the scent of the flower tends to attract many Pokemon, the aroma soothes the emotions of people and Pokemon, leading to very little conflict. As they age, their ability to convert sunlight into energy can be harnessed into a powerful attack.

#003 Mega - When Venusaur Mega Evolve, energy from the evolution process supercharges their flower, making it bloom even more fantastically than before, having larger and more vivid. To support to the weight of the huge flower, Venusaurs legs become more sturdy, which also grants its higher Defense and Special Defense. There’s so much energy from Mega Evolution that they sprout additional flowers - one their forehead and another on their rear.
