tbh i feel like the actual tragedy of Regulus Black isn’t really acknowledged much because it doesn’t appeal to either stans or haters. Regulus was on the path to becoming a better person, he’d taken the first step ! He was so young and he had *almost* had chance to make up for his actions, but he was never able to travel down the rest of the road. He could have learned from his pureblood supremacism ! He could have become completely deracicalized :( but he died so close to revelation that his cult leader really was completely evil that he never had the chance. That is the tragedy of Regulus Black, not that he was the “secret Slytherin prince who actually loved muggles deep down promise,” but that he didn’t have the time to actually reform.

Jilypad is the ideal ship because all 3 duo ships involved fuck hard individually. Jily is a classic beloved by all. Prongsfoot just makes sense with their natural soulmatism. Lilypad is fresh and fun with a touch of chaos. They're all perfect and wonderful separately and together they make the ultimate ship.

Do you have a favorite little quirk of Harrys or trait that he has?

Thank you so much for asking, I have several.

1. His cavity-inducing sweet tooth is something that can be tracked throughout the series, and it's something that I find overwhelmingly endearing ( if only because it's the one part of childhood he does cling to no matter what ). Harry's favorite food is treacle tart, unrivaled in its use of sugar.

2. While Harry is mostly touch adverse, conflating excessive touch with 'fuss' which he is known to hate. However, if he sees even a centimeter between Ron and Hermione you know he is going to wedge himself between it and make himself comfortable there. He does this so often and yet it makes my heart squeeze every time.

3. Owls in particular are treated for their utility within the story. Harry is often the only person that goes to visit his owl at the owlery, and he makes a habit of speaking conversationally to her in a way that we don't see anyone else ( save for Albus and Fawkes who we will lump in owl category for comparison's sake ). Hedwig is -- as he often points out -- his first friend and so he treats her as a friend first.

In general, if Harry sees an animal he's probably going to speak to it and there's also a chance he's going to pet it. I think that's neat.

Bisexuality /Biromanticism is the attraction to two genders, OR  the attraction to the same gender and gender(s) different from your own. Bisexuals not only deal with homophobia from the general public, but also biphobia, even from within the LGBTI+ community.

Many people identify with characters who, while given only het-relationships in canon plot-lines, are not explicitly straight. These characters, like Harry for example, have personalities and experiences that are relatable and allow for the ‘head-canon’ of bisexuality.

Seeing more explicitly LGBTI+ characters in our favourite stories has huge positive impacts on the real lives of LGBTI+ individuals. Racially diverse LGBTI+ characters are even rarer in popular media, and their real life counterparts are even more marginalised, making it even more important we increase their representation.

Creating more diverse characters in mainstream media is such a simple way to empower those in marginalised groups. Thus, The Deluminators present our biracial bisexual Harry Potter.

Representation matters.
