Auster Clovis Elodie!

Son of Anatole Quincy Elodie and Vesper Mateo Elodie

Brother to Azure Dominic Elodie and Agnes Juniper Elodie (AJ)

Born in the Kingdom of Lumareth.

An incredibly bleak and boring Kingdom made up of purely black and white, known for their fashion and definitely not their food. With a ban on magic.

Auster grew up in a very loving household but he hated home.

His mother was a Mime and his father and out of practice magician.

Unfortunately for Lumareth

That created a loud magically blessed child who loved to perform.

He would constantly put on beautiful and loud performances but his talents were unappreciated by the kingdom.

So

Vesper, not wanting to stunt her sons very beautiful gift, made the decision to move.

But this move took years.

After getting out of Lumareth it took years of travel to end up in the gorgeous kingdom of vesuvia.

With the freshly instated and incredibly Young Count, vesuvia was a very bright and colorful kingdom that embraced magic and seemed to have a beautiful festival every other day.

Auster quickly gained popularity with his incredible skill and performances.

Being paid to perform in front of audiences and in festivals, even at the counts parties! Things were looking up for the Elodies!

Until.

The red plague washed over the once lively Kingdom. Vesper and Anatole were two of the many bodies that filled the streets..

Leaving Azure to take care of the family.

During this awful awful time there was no room for beautiful parties or festivals so Auster was out of the job.. eventually becoming the Counts jester to make ends meet.

...but the Count was sick.

And with his constant demands of performances.. it wasn't long until Auster was coughing..his eyes the same red as his uniform.

He tried to hide it the best he could. Magician's have spells to cover this kind of thing! But..after being called for again.. and again.. only to not show.

The counts Consul found a shaking Auster. Peeking through his blonde hair to show a glowing red.

Without his brother's knowledge

Auster was sent to the lazaret.

A place where they burned the plagued bodies in hope they would no longer spread.

This broke Azure.

His parents and now his brother? What's next his sister-? Well.. it wasn't long until she gained her own pair of red eyes.

Azure snapped. Desperately seeking out any kind of cure or procedure that could help.. eventually meeting a magician named Asra.

The magician had a plan to bring back their own loved one.. agreeing to help Azure if he helped them.

So.

On the night of one of the counts masquerades. A celebration for his birthday..Asra hijacked a spell to give the count a new body. Transferring it to their loved one as well as Auster.

In return for half their hearts. As well as something more personal.

Austers new body was unconscious for weeks after being brought back.

But at least AJ seemed to be feeling better. Despite her eyes never returning to white.

Eventually the body sat up.

And although he was intelligent..he didn't remember a thing about himself.

Not his magic, not his past, not his family.

So Azure taught his brother again. Just like he had when he was young. And soon enough..he seemed back. Only a few differences.

Auster tried to start performing again but he got weird looks..as if he was some kind of freak.

So he turned to the Palace..

Being hired by the Consul who seemed to loath him. He had no clue why though!

Auster didn't get a lot of performing done.. for some reason he never saw the countess and there wasn't exactly count to perform for.

Due to this he was paid little.

So he resorted to petty theft.

The palace wouldn't miss a golden utensil or two?

But he got bolder.. and bolder.

Eventually remembering a conversation between some other Palace workers.

As he stared at a portrait of the late count.

"I heard they never cleaned up in there!" "Really-? They just left all that Ash?"

Austers eyes trailed onto the counts arm.

...pure..gold.

The Jester snuck into the Counts Room one night.. looking around for the arm.

When he felt eyes on him.

"mine..mine.."

He felt like he was going insane as he whipped around, trying to find the voice behind him.

It was probably just his guilty conscious right-? He found the arm in a nice chest.. and opened it. Turning to run away with it- when he saw a ghostly goat in front of him. It scared the shit out of him of course and his tripped into the late counts bed.

Breathing in the ash that used to be him.

-And thats when the game itself/ lucios route starts!
