(Now I do absolutely adore the griffins that universal has hired for epic universe, but there’s always a small nitpick I’ve had since I’ve seen videos of the park. I don’t like how they’ve labeled the invisibility serum griffin made as monocane. Griffin didn’t MAKE monocane, it was just used as an ingredient in the serum. Monocane is made from a flower in India, it may have the main source of the invisibility serum’s power, but it’s definitely not JUST monocane.)

(One of my favorite side characters in this movie is most definitely Jenny Hall played by the lovely Una o’ Connor <33

And yes, I love her character, and she’s extremely talented at that quirky but very sassy old lady, but my god are her screams and yelps powerful

Now I’ve seen this movie many many times, to the point where I’ve memorized every time she’s on screen and when she yells because my god does she peak the microphone

(Gosh THIS‼️‼️apart of me genuinely love how they set up the movie so that it starts at the lions head and not with his decent into becoming invisible as I think in a story telling perspective(also for the fact that that’s how the book starts) but I would have DIED to see griffin interacting with the world around to see how much of his true genuine dislike for kemp in what WE see of him was the monocane, and what was actual bottled up feelings. It would have been wonderful for griffin to in some way that kemp just HAPPENS TO HAVE A FRAMED PICTURE OF FLORA?? I mean- I KNOW he would have been pissed

But when acknowledging a griffin before the monocane, experiments, etc, I do think he probably wasn’t a big fan of kemp, whether that be for the fact that maybe he could tell he had feelings for Flora, or for other reasons, but I think most of the violent behavior was most definitely imagined and exaggerated by the monocane in his formula.)

my fav thing abt the 1933 invisible man movie is the fact kemp and griffin actually are actively working/employed together there. i kinda rlly wish there was a flashback sequence wit them before griffin did the experiment that showed off their dynamic more (cus they weren't implied to be inexplicably close before in the book, but i mean here they Had to be around eachother). i cant tell if griffin was supposed to have Actually genuinely believed he and kemp were friends there before he started going off the rails . does feel like he liked him a little sometimes but how much of that was also just him Messing with him lol (or literally just saying things)
