i actually find it fascinating that Sakura in literal and metaphorical way is a healer. She healed Sasuke's wounds of loneliness and healed the tragic history of the Uchiha clan. Good work Masashi K.

And it was her desire to heal Sasuke that was the catalyst to her seeing who Sasuke truly was, and genuinely falling in love with him.

I firmly believe before they were a couple, Sakura had insecurities about herself in her relationship with Sasuke and it's not something new, it was always there even after thanking and giving her the poke gesture. And there's nothing wrong with that, it's just that it's not surprising because Sasuke kept most of what he thought about Sakura to himself or she was out of his reach to hear him. So in theory, going on the trip together is also part of having the opportunity to clear things up between the two and be even more intimate than they couldn't years ago.

Do you feel like Sakura would be insecure of sasuke and their relationship after the poke? Sakura is not dense and could see that he has started to feel for her, maybe during their travels, if sasuke says something blunt or does something that hurts her,maybeeee but why did Sakura hiden suggest Sakura was insecure of her importance to sasuke atleast after he was saved from the hatred. After the war they must have spent time together when she met with him and also gave her comfortable to ask her to travel with him. I could be reading too deep, but their relationship had to be Mended very well by that point for her to ask it without no qualms plus Sasuke wasn't against the idea, maybe later was his response. If kishi were to be the one to write Sakura hiden, he wouldn't have written that she was still insecure about sasuke and she needed to tell him ily as long as it took for him to reciprocate because what's the point. She always said that when sasuke was leaving she wanted to let him know

Sakura Hiden showed that Sakura did have some measure of insecurity regarding where she and Sasuke stood, but after remembering the poke and acknowledging how far their relationship had progressed, those insecurities steadily vanished. They existed because it's relatively hard to gauge where you stand with the object of your affection when he's not around and not in contact, but the events towards the end of the novel showed that she did still hold a large place in Sasuke's heart.

I agree, there's no way they would have had such an amicable conversation without a lot of prior mending to their relationship.

I'm not so sure about that. I wouldn't have thought that Kishi would write Sasuke being gone for the better part of a decade without contacting his daughter at all, to the point where said daughter even questioned her biological parentage, but yet, Gaiden exists.

So i was rereading the manga trying to get cool panels for So6p Naruto and i found this pretty little thing

I think this is what intellectuals would call a Sasusaku moment, Sasuke basically called sakura useless and Nart boi here agreed , but he also added that it was one of the moments his (sasstraight Uchiha because imo he's not gay) body acts on its own to protect someone, also that thank you Naruto was also here realizing that Naruto meant her so both they realized that Sasuke was intending to protect her but he's a Tsunadere bitch who doesn't want to be soft
