Please allow me to introduce myself

I am writing to you from Philz Coffee in the Mission District of San Francisco. I had every intention to read Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale, but the strength of the coffee hit me like a giant ocean wave, igniting my urge to start a blog. I am a twenty-something year old woman of color who grew up in East Oakland and now work as a nurse at a local county hospital. I enjoy binge watching crime shows, playing with makeup, eating and sleeping. I am not aiming to please people with my posts. I simply want to share my interests, experiences, thoughts, and feelings. Though it is not my intention, some posts may seem offensive, prejudiced, and insensitive. I’m not perfect, nor do I try to be. I just have lots to say.
