We found out that a side of a tile is the size of 2 length of A4 paper. As the shape of the arrival floor area is rectangle, we counted the no. of tiles there is for the length & breadth. Hence, we found out the area of the floor. Aleczandria, group leader(1) Surakshya (19) Hidayah(13) Qarina(16)

2E1 class group members: Esther(7), Asha (5), Charmaine(2), Odelia(10) we measured our group member, Asha, shoe's length. we made her walk across the breadth and length of the airport so that we are able to accurately measure the area of the airport ( which is length脳breadth ) we also made another grp member Charmaine to count alongside her so that Asha would not lose count. overall, we had fun trying to calculate the area of Changi Airport's terminal 1. Esther(me) took photos around so that we are able to post them into tumblr. Odelia calculated the area of the airport using her calculator.

Ang ying xuan(3),jieyi (6),syliva Goh (15),Maurice Heng (31) 2E4 Counting the footsteps of each tile and working together.we found the estimated area of the arrival hall and compared the actual area with our answer which after minus would be quite close to the wikipedia answer hence our method is accurate.
