(Technically I can't cross out "alcohol", he's drinking champagne!)

For all the talk of Humphrey's love of dressing up and showing off his medals and tailcoat (he did try to move an entire royal event purely for the sake of dressy uppy), we never actually get to see it happen! A travesty! So I thought I'd give it a go myself.

As it turns out, the rules for which necklaces and badges and sashes one is supposed to wear are hideously complicated, so feel free to send me a message correcting the many, many inaccuracies. (But I did give it a red hot go, which is to say I went to Humphrey's wiki article and clicked on all the honours listed under his name. True effort right there.)

DAA Discord Fanweek - Day 4

My stupid ABO setting. When Arnold was only a deputy secretary working in Scotland and Herbert was just a backbencher who could only afford the renting fee of a small attic. Because civil servants enjoyed free elementary school education for their kids, so Frank, Humpy and Jumbo were living with Arnold mama (Arnold: I ‘m papa!) in Scotland.

So on Fathers’ Day, Arnold wanted to give his husband a surprise and took their children to London. However, it rained heavily. They got wet when meeting with Herbert.

Herbert gave his bed to let Arnold and children have a good rest. But when others fell asleep, Humpy climbed to Herbert’s quilt and asked his papa telling him a story.

A totally inconsequential random meeting of the OTP pre-canon (you can consider it an AU if you like, though). Humphrey and Arnold got all dressed up for some slightly out of season cricket practice but the park is occupied by a gang of good for nothings playing football... :(
