AKA Mean Girls Day AKA MY BIRTHDAY

So, seeing as it’s the absolute best day of the year, does anyone want to help me celebrate it? I don’t have any plans I’m married to or anything. 

Someone has to ask you what day it is on that day. I swear. I don’t believe I’m doing anything. Let me just check up on it to make sure, but I don’t see why I couldn’t be there. And a HAPPY SOON TO BE BIRTHDAY!

General Notes → Mercedes and Dani decide to have a fun day out and wind up deciding on something a little more than clothes to their day’s adventures.

MERCEDES

Turning, Mercedes smiled widely at Dani embracing her. “Hey! So I am ready for some relaxation and shopping how about you. I thought we could take my car, its such a beautiful day and I really want the top down.” She unlocked her midnight blue mustang convertible and walked over to the driver side. This was her baby, the one thing she bought for herself last year on a whim. That was her first real step in doing something for herself. “The place I found has gotten great reviews and they do Facials along with Mani and Pedi’s.”

DANI

“Alright, you don’t have to ask twice. Sun and some great tunes with awesome company? I am so down.” She chuckled, taking a once over for the first time at the car which Mercedes was next to--clearly her own--and whistling. “Sweet ride, by the way.” Settling in the passenger side, Dani relaxed back, placing on sunglasses, her smile as bright as the light outside. “Ohh, three in one? Yes! I would ask if this day could get better, but that kind of seems silly, considering.”

Haha, yes. Just wandering. Hm, I suppose street performing although it’s more just for fun. You do any performing? Aw yeah! Right on, we should.

I probably shouldn’t advertise my drinking activities but one can never not use a decent drinking buddy. As much as I enjoy the Solitude of Fortress life, I should probably actually get out much more. What does everyone do around here for fun? I recently got a myself an iPod so I feel so up to date right now!

Hm...maybe not advertise but at the same time, you get yourself some company. There’s this one great one I’ll send the address to. I also tend to just wander around, take my guitar and just mess around with it at the park or something. I’m a little busy tonight, but why don’t we find some time and wander around?

That’s fair, I guess. Can’t really have you making promises you’re not sure you can keep. I hope so. It came out of nowhere, but I should have seen it coming? I’m not surprised it happened, but that doesn’t make it suck any less. Yeah, we can still snuggle. Don’t worry. I’m not going anywhere. …Darling? That’s a new one.

Not at all; but the clothes will stay on. That is one I can. If you need to vent, I’m all ears. Good. Ah. Hey, even with foresight, sometimes it still sucks. We can always chat about it, if it ever helps at all. Or have fun. Either way. Yeah...it just kind of happened. Hopefully a good new one though; I can always watch it if not. I just think it kind of has a good little ring to it.

You know what? I think you’re right. I mean, it’s fun, but it’s so much more fun sober. Honestly, I can’t really say. There’s just a lot of drama in my life right now and keeping my legs closed and my tongue to myself are probably the best ways to put a stop to it. Yes, I remember that talk and the feeling is mutual.  Of course. You shouldn’t expect anything else.

There are no promises I won’t be cuddly though. I can only make a few guarantees when the good stuff takes over. Makes a lot of sense. That drama will be out the door. ...do we still get to snuggle though? Good because I don’t want to lose you over something like that. Or pretty much at all, but especially that. We’ve hung out enough to where I hardly would, darling.

Okay. Fair enough. That’s a pretty good assessment. And what are these little things you can sometimes piece together? Thanks. I appreciate it. I think that might be my favorite rule. And we do have a good time together. Just.. a heads up though. We probably won’t be hooking up. It’s not like I expect you to expect it or anything, but I just wanted to be upfront about it.

NoCal, huh? Nice. Will do; gotta look it up then definitely will do. 

Indeed we do. That’s fine, San. With the alcohol, that probably isn’t the best idea anyway. It would hardly be as good if we were drunk; still amazing, don’t get me wrong, but...it would miss something, I imagine. I honestly didn’t think of that as an option. Or...do you like ever again? Either way, just hanging with you is more than enough. Remember that convo? I dig the sexy time, but you’re great outside of that. And I’m glad you’re upfront.

Hopefully that’s in a good way for home. Trust me, I know. There’s this club I’ve been dying to try. I’ll grab the address and send it your way.

A ‘definitely needed’ weekend with wanting to get completely wasted?  Plus, add that to the choice of the hard stuff and not a beer or wine or anything...? I might be wrong but there’s some sort of code in that, honey. I also sometimes can piece together little things. And what that means is that I want you to have fun and relax without any worries. Girl rules or whatever: we have a crazy good time together whenever we need it.

Done. You definitely don’t have to tell me twice. I’m free on Friday and I would love Saturday and Sunday to recover. It’ll just be your job to make sure I get home okay. Also, if I get sick, you have to make sure I don’t puke on myself. I might not get that drunk though.. even if I want to.

Then Friday and a hella great time it is then. Taking care of you...I believe I can have that covered. As long as you’ve got my back too; this might be a group effort. We’ll see. Don’t worry; you’ll be alright. It’ll be a fun night though, no matter what. 

I’m sure I know. But let’s just have fun and forget that. It’s taken care of all around, or will be. So, let’s just get out for a little girl’s night.
