POOL LOOP LOG #0001
(10.04.2025) old concept picked up and '"remastered".
(10.04.2025) creature designs redone; the first concepts and designs have been done.
NOTES -
i actually came up with this concept wayyy back in, like, ~2021? ~2022? somewhere between those years. it initially started as a mashup (or it all mixed in my brain) of multiple ideas: how a game with a blind character may reflect the character blindness, how it'd be if a backrooms-like territory had an ecosystem and liminal horror as a video game.

THEOFÁGOS CYCLE LOG #0001
CHANGELOG -
(14.04.2025) name changed from "pool loop" to "deus ex machina" to "theofágos cycle".
NOTES -
"pool loop" has been reused for another project, which much better suits it. i wasn't very on board with that name for this project from the beginning, so i'm happy i came up with a better name.

BLOOD MORGUE LOG #0002
(07.04.2025) the characters have been given hesitant names and their designs have been refined as well as a few artistic choices with them.
(07.04.2025) first drafts for the starting screen and embiorment have been made.
(07.04.2025) first drafts for gameplay and gameplay mechanics have been made.
(08.04.2025) gameplay concepts have been refined.
(08.04.2025) character designs have been refined more.
NOTES -
(read: 2 & 3.) i'm pretty happy with what i have so far, especially movement wise.
(read: 5.) i've always been happy with my designs- for this characters, at least- so i've been doing but minimal details. i suspect they'll change much more when i get to modeling them but i don't think they will change drastically.

BLOOD MORGUE LOG #0001
CHANGELOG -
(06.04.2025) name changed from "not up to interpretation" to "blood morgue".
(07.04.2025) first drafts of new gameplay mechanics have been made; the exploring/platforming concept has been scrapped.
NOTES -
(read: 1.) i came up with the name "blood morgue" a long time ago, and only now i realized that it suits this project better than "not up to interpretation"! i've been meaning to recycle it for a long time now.
(read: 2.) i might stick with a few scraps of my platforming concept and increment them into the new gameplay style. we'll see.

OBJECTGAMES LOG #0001
CHANGELOG -
(05.04.2025) the blog has been renamed from "pool-loop-backlog" to "objectgames-log" to "objectgames", and has been repurposed to be a log for all my osc-related game projects instead of being a log for just pool loop.
(05.04.2025) minimal tweaks to the profile picture have been made, now it has a white background instead of being transparent.
(05.04.2025) the desktop version of the blog has been made.
NOTES -
(read: 1.) i like to attach the word object to any word when talking about osc stuff. i've been calling my osc game ideas "objectgames" in my mind for a while now... i want to make that my studio(?) name! i'm planning on roping some people into my game crafting... make a team, basically. so having a "studio name" would make credits and branding much easier if anything goes big and i'm not keen on attaching my real name to any of the games i make due to many reasons at the moment. for now, objectgames in simply the name of the blog where all the information about my games is instead of a team name or anything of the like! but that might change in the future... we'll see.
(read: 2.) the pfp is the computer webding from the webdings font! it's my favorite webding of my second favorite font, i wanted it to be somewhere in the blog. maybe even be like a "logo".
(read: 3.) i'll modify it later, i'm not too keen on the theme and i can't customize its colors. maybe i'll make my own theme, but that's a hard maybe.
