Haha I am! I’m also now 11 years into BJJ and I’m a brown belt. I’m actually answering this at the gym.

I’m not as strong as I was when I was 20 - I herniated a lumbar disc on my 28th birthday. Back in my heavy tumblr days I was deadlifting 270. Now I’m even demoing not doing that anymore.

But with being a better grappler, better cardio, and better diet, I’m healthier and maybeee a bit more jacked. I’d say my upper body is stronger than it used to be back then!

I enjoyed it. I thought they did a good job pulling the plot through and developing the characters. That said, I didn’t love the feeling of time compression. It felt like in the original series, these things unfolded over a much longer period of time.

i didn't particularly care for or ship makorra back when lok was airing but i remember following a lot of ya'll because you guys tend to be defensive of lok b1-2 and korra in those seasons (compared to the other faction of the fandom), which aligned with what i thought when i was watching the show

In retrospect, I think it wasn’t even the ship in later seasons, I think the show largely fell apart writing-wise.

That said, I will probably never watch it again because.

Yeah it really sucks (quick switch, they use different pronouns since I've posted here).

I think it's a reminder of how people change. Back when I was active here and we started dating, we were different people who wanted different things. It ended as amicably as it could, it fucking hurts, but at least I got the cat.
