Energy renovation
What does energy renewal include?
Energy restoration includes:
Energy inspection and energy certification;
Preparation of the main energy renovation project, which proves the energy savings that will be achieved through energy renovation;
Increasing the thermal protection of the building envelope (external walls – facade, roof, replacement of external carpentry);
Improvement of the building's technical systems, which include technical equipment for heating, cooling, ventilation, air conditioning and preparation of domestic hot water, lighting system and introduction of renewable energy sources (eg solar panels, heat pump).
What are all the renovation options for an apartment building?
Co-financing includes two measures: Integral energy renovation includes one or more measures on the building envelope, which achieve a saving of the annual required heat energy for heating (QH,nd) of at least 50% compared to the state before the renovation. In principle, integral energy renovation means increasing the thermal protection of the building envelope (external walls, roof and replacement of external joinery).
Deep renovation includes several energy renovation measures, and it must include at least one measure on the building envelope in addition to measures related to technical systems. In-depth renovation requires achieving savings of at least 50% of the annual required thermal energy for heating (QH.nd) and at least 50% of primary energy (Eprim) on an annual basis. In principle, deep renovation means increasing the thermal protection of the building envelope (external walls, roof and replacement of external joinery) associated with the installation of RES.

Energy efficient vehicles
What are energy efficient vehicles?
The following are considered energy-efficient vehicles, the purchase of which is encouraged: • vehicles category L 1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, L7 with electric drive, • M1 category vehicles with electric, plug-in hybrid drive or hydrogen drive, • vehicles of categories M2, M3, N1, N2, N3 with electric, plug-in hybrid drive, compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LPG) or hydrogen powered vehicles.
With the adoption of the European law, the sale of new gasoline and diesel motor vehicles will be prohibited from 2035. This leads to the goal of Europe becoming the first carbon-neutral continent by 2050. Accordingly, the EU is taking measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from cars, since in the EU road transport accounts for a fifth of CO2 emissions.
The most requested energy-efficient vehicle in 2022 was the Renault Twingo Electric with 258 registrations. Right behind the electric Twingo is the Dacia Spring with 169 registrations. For them, HRK 70,000 or up to 40% of the net price of the vehicle could be obtained.

Solar panels
Solar panels enable the direct conversion of solar energy into electricity and represent one of the best ways of using the sun's energy. Electricity costs are becoming an increasingly significant burden for every average household. At the same time, the price of the technology (solar power plant and associated equipment) has recorded a constant decline in recent years, and in 2021 it will be only a tenth of the price in 2009.
How does a solar power plant work?
You use the produced electricity directly for the needs of your household, and any excess is transferred to the network. Your family home is connected to the grid all the time and you use electricity in the amount that the household needs.
How much solar power do I need?
Power is dimensioned according to household consumption, financial capabilities of the user, technical limitations at the location (roof area, shading, etc.). To cover 80% of annual electricity needs, an average three-member household in the interior of Croatia needs a solar power plant with a power of 4 to 6 kW, and those in Dalmatia and on the islands need a solar power plant with a power of 3 to 5 kW. Surface 6 square meters of space is needed to produce 1kW of electricity. Since one module (solar panel) is 2 square meters in size, 1kW requires THREE modules (solar panels) covering 6 square meters.
One average solar power plant of 5 kW during its lifetime reduces the amount of emitted carbon dioxide equivalent to planting 180 trees. Contribute to the preservation of the environment!
Solar panels price
For the household category, power plants are usually in the range of 2 to 10 kW. The cost of the power plant per kW is up to 1,300.00 to 1,600.00 eur (design, equipment, transport, commissioning, testing). Additional costs are the replacement of the meter by HEP ODS (300.00 - 400.00 eur) and the annual maintenance cost.
In combination with heat pump you can have free heating through free electricity.
