Tempurpedic Bed, the death foam. I will educate people since you won't.
I will continue to post and update with photos of my journey and my health issues that are a result of the direct exposure to my tempurpedic bed, which I slept on for ten years.
Tomorrow I meet again with my allergist to go over my concerns for when I have a contact reaction to polyurethane or the foam if I come into contact with it.... I'm rolling the drug dice here... Benedryl, hydroxine, cytosomething or other, Claritan ready tab.... I'm every so close to the epi pen it seems. Maybe another prednisone injections or let's see, what's the highest dose on injectable xoliar can I take to help suppress the reaction.... My doctor has to come up with either more tests, a safer concrete option for treatment or refer me to someone who is knowledgeable of this type of sensitivity.
Since the tempurpedic bed was removed.... Aside from the fact I would wake up and need to go to urgent care is gone..... My husband and I have no more sinus issues at night. I had so many more breathing issues until the bed was gone. My husband never has breathing issues until we moved in together and I battled for us to keep my bed... The fucking tempurpedic death foam bed apparently. I used to blame allergies to many of my issues.... I now wonder how much was attributed to the bed and
But I'm reminded now daily with itchy skin and hives and at least once a week or every other week some lip or eye swelling shit all bc I touched some sort of adhesive.... Or elastic... Or something that contains polyurethane tdi... Or sit on a chair or couch thay doesn't have enough solid fabric covering on it...
It's expensive to replace everything... Every bed in the house aside from your own thay has foam on it.... Lots of clothes bc polyurerhane is used in many elastic type like work out... My feet get on fire from my shoes due to the padding.
Ten years breathing in whatever off gassing from that bed.... Ten years direct exposure to sleeping on thay bed... The place you spend alot of time in.... Funny how I haven't had any upper respitory infections since we got rid of it... I used to get them all the time and would equate it to working with kids... But no... I still work with those same germ covered kiddos.... But the death bed is gone.
Your department reviewing things still have not responded to me... Your fb media page deletes anyone who tries to post this blog or ask about this or debate it.... Why are you so worried? You have the same bs response about fda approved blah blah safe foam this or that. Stating there is no evidence that people suffer issues or contact issues from your product.
I'm here to call thay bullshit. Because I life that life every day and have the epi pen to fucking prove it....
Still reviewing my info and photos? I'll keep reminding people. I have, by sharing this information in various ways, kept people from making the decision from buying your product or memory foam beds to begin with. And I will continue to educate people.
You may have forgotten.. But I'm still itchy

This is from long term exposure to a tempurpedic bed. Still thinking of buying one? They were quick to refund and remove my ten year old bed as well were quick to remove my posts and ability to post on their Facebook page. I wake up everyday and have to hope I can avoid a product with polyurerhane now. The reactions in the severe form shown in these photos were directly from sleeping on the tempurpedic. After years of off gassing and exposure to the foam, my body one day decided this was going to be the reaction moving forward.
Once the bed was removed my sinuses and headaches went away. My husband also had sinus issues once we combined houses and he slept on the tempurpedic. He didn't once it was removed.

Tempurpedic Bed buyers beware
Tumblr media
Thinking about buying a tempurpedic? Don’t. Hopefully my story will spread to share awareness. In March 2018 I started breaking out in giant hives leaving bruises and in some spots, chemical burns, swollen eyes and lips and throat. Many visits to urgent care, allergist and a derm… After many injections of steroids and pills it was determined the bed as the trigger. My ten year exposure to my tempurpedic left me with a severe allergy to polyurethane tdi aka the foam which is also found in other materials. After posting the hoards of photos I have charting this, tempurpedic contacted me. They were very quick to refund the entire bed and remove it. Yes I was grateful for that. However I submitted time off work and a print out of medical costs related to this. I have good insurance so luckily it’s not overwhelming, but my time and pain are worth more than a copay. They reviewed the documents I provided and gave for months sent the same response of we are reviewing it. I reported the company to the safety board to which the manufacturer responded that the refund on the bed was thier way of handling it. My entire life daily revolves around this. I have to carry gloves. I can’t book a hotel or air bnb without verifying the bed. I have to replace furniture and clothing. The exposure and off gassing created this severe allergy. Even monthly xoliar shots aren’t helping much yet. Tempurpedic has ghosted my ability to post on their social media. I wake up every day with my epi pen worried what today will bring. I haven’t forgotten like the emails you forgotten of mine.
