and thinking about how this almost certainly applies to systems and dissociation as well. like yeah, it's entirely possible and valid to be a completely non-disordered, non-dissociative system, but I think a lot of plurals are vastly underestimating the amount of dissociation they experience because it's common to them so they don't even notice. One thing i’m noticing with like. More ambitious fan works is that they tend to be very very wordy, overly wordy even. They don’t know when to cut the fat and leave things to be suspenseful or mysterious. If it has cutscenes the cutscenes will be a bit too long. Stuff like that.

why in the name of heaven would this be your response to a post i, a complete stranger, made about the depiction of domestic abuse in a novel by booker prize winning author a.s. byatt. this kind of like, “complimentary” sexual harassment is pretty widespread on here but this is the most blatant and baffling example i have witnessed yet. a good way to get yourself immediately blocked. sharing as a psa: absolutely do not do this, about anything, to anyone, and think long and hard about how you talk to strangers on the internet. this is sexual harassment. it is very weird and deeply unpleasant.
